Sore feet problems solved

I love this product! Working in hospitality and being in my feet all day it's always a struggle wearing heels on nights we go out. Whacked a pair of these into my heels and by the end of he night I was still comfortable. I like the fact that the packet has two pairs in it as well. Decided to try the other pair in a pair of work shoes. Didn't really think they would make much difference in flats but they were so comfortable and they didn't come off in the shoe and slide around like a lot of other products can do. Definitely recommend this product.

Tips: Make sure they are placed properly. Are very easy to reposition in you get it wrong though and will still stick really well. Not just for heels either, worked great in my work shoes too!

Gel Ball Foot Cushions

The Footcare Gel Ball of Foot Cushions are nicely packaged with a clear window that shows you what they look like. They are easy to open with a tear-away piece placed at the top. I like they fact that there are 2 pairs in the pack. It makes them very reasonably priced compared to others I have seen on the market. Each cushion is marked with a "L" or "R" which was very useful otherwise I would have put them in my shoes they wrong way. The cushions have a plastic film on the underside of them which is peeled off to reveal an adhesive bottom. The cushions are then placed into your shoes adhesive size down. The adhesive works very well and the cushions stayed in place when I wore my shoes. It is great that these can be washed and re-used. With all of these great features I did find them a little uncomfortable. I noticed them in my shoes the whole time I was wearing them. I tried them in 2 different pairs of shoes but they felt out of place in both pairs. It might just be something that takes a while to get used to? I could feel the little balls on the surface which worked well to make them non-slip. These would be great for someone who was on their feet for a long time or out dancing the night away.

Tips: Get the placement correct in your shoes.

Ok but not a game changers

These pads are definitely comfy - in that they didn't make my shoes uncomfortable but I don't know that they actually ADDED any comfort. I would use them again but I wouldn't go out of my way to buy any.

Tips: If your shoes are already quite firm fitting then using these pads won't make the situation any better. They are quite a few mm thick.

A Decent Gel

I stand all day at work, so something I have found essential is either a comfortable pair of shoes or some cheats to make them comfortable.

After seeing these on the BR page I decided I had to try them and compare them to similar products I’d used before.

So quality wise, these are decent value. They are the same thickness as some more expensive brands. But there are also cheaper brands than Footcare which are fairly similar as well.

Focusing in on the product itself, Footcare’s Gel Ball of Foot Cushions are a discreet way to cushion your feet as you can slip them into your shoes without anyone noticing they are there.

Now I personally did not find they so much prevented pain as provided temporary relief. For example when wearing a pair of high heels out for the night I find it useful to take these in my purse then slip them into my shoes when my feet start to ache. This provides temporary relief whereas when I wear them from the start of the evening my feet still ache pretty much like they would without them. That said other people may find it works differently for them.

Something to also be aware of it that in smaller shoes, they can make the shoes too tight. Mostly I wear them in harder shoes or shoes with thinner soles to provide an extra layer of cushioning all day long. But I do also add them in later in the day, particularly in more cushioned shoes. I find it depends on the shoes and how long you’ll be on your feet.
