L'Oreal Professional Mythic Oil

I must admit I didn't expect much when I used it for the first time, based on experiences with other hair oils and serums, but I found that this one is A LOT better than others I have tried. I have dry damaged frizzy ends, and it helped to smooth them out without making my hair oily and greasy. I am really impressed with the mythic hair oil, and would recommend trying it!

This is my hands down favourite hair product. I have fine, oily ,lightened blonde hair, and I use this every time I wash my hair. You only need one squirt, so the bottle lasts a long time, and I run it through the dry ends and flyaway bits of my hair. It has a lovely smell, doesn't weigh my oily hair down, but seems to moisturise my hair so that it looks healthy and I have no flyaway sticky out bits, that make your hair look damaged. I would never have thought of using an oil, on my very oily hair, but this product is amazingly light yet so moisturising. I put it on the ends before I comb my hair , after washing it, and it makes the comb glide through as well , without pulling it.

I've tried a few types of hair oil and this one is so far my favourite. My hairdresser reccommended it after I had my hair coloured for the third time in a week (!!) and my ends were feeling particularly damaged and brittle. I normally have quite oily roots with dry ends, so I massage this into the lengths of my hair after I've washed it and it leaves it feeling so soft and luxurious, and it has a nice light smell that's not overpowering. I like that it has a pump in the bottle instead of a screw cap like some other brands as I find it makes it easier to judge how much to use - I normally just use one pump and I have medium-long hair so it lasts quite a long time! Definately great value for money.

amazing product super light and doesn't feel like thick gluggy oil nor does it mske my hair look oily! i have wavy frizzy hair so i dread humid weather!

Love!! Leaves my hair feeling soft and has really heped to reair my damaged blond hair. smells great to!!

This is my daily use product to keep frizz at bay. Gives my hair a lot of shine and softness and keeps the ends from curling too much in humid weather after I've straightened my hair. The pump top on this product is what makes it great for daily use, it just sits on the counter top - quick pump - through your hair and done :) Great stuff

Adore this hair oil I have never used hair oil before I used this one and I am in love my hair is so much smoother,silkier & i have way less breakage,I put 2 pumps (very long thick hair) through my towel dried hair before I blow dry works great....will last ages as only require a little bit of product!

For someone who generally steers clear of oils, this is so amazing!! I have quite fine hair so normally avoid oils due to them making my hair quite heavy and greasy, however the Mythic Oil is so lightweight it doesn't drag my hair down.

For a while I had blonde highlights in my hair, which meant for me that I had bleach in my hair as I am dark brunette, so my hair was so dry and damaged. The Mythic Oil nourished my dry ends and made my hair instantly shiny and healthy again.

Considering I only use 1 or 2 pumps and only use it on my ends, my bottle is lasting me ages and is 110% worth the $38 it costs!

This is such a gorgeous oil. I had the privilege of receiving this in my sample bar review box a few months back and it is gorgeous. It smells great, feels great, looks great. One of my favourite hair oils.

Hair oils seem to be the latest and greatest hair products, claiming to tame frizz and smooth and nourish your hair. Hair oils have been incorporated into my daily hair care routine for over a year now, and after trying the Loreal Professional Mythic Oil, I have fallen in love all over again.

The packaging alone was enough to make me want to try this product. The black and gold colouring screams class and although it's a little bit 'plastic' looking, it does look like a salon quality product. I received it in my monthly GoodieBox, and it instantly replaced the hair oil I was using at the time. What really set it apart from other hair oils that I have tried is the pump dispenser. This assures an easy, quick and no mess application and you aren't left with excess oil on your hands. Three pumps is the perfect amount for my hair.

The formula is lightweight and doesn't leave an oily residue on my hair or hands. It smells lovely, but not too lovely. It doesn't scream the scent of chocolate or sweetness or florals like some products, and that is exactly what I look for in hair products. The only way I can describe it is that it smells like having your hair washed at the hair dresser, and this lingers on your hair all day.

I use this every morning after towel drying my hair. I then blow dry and straighten it (eek, I know) and it is left shiny, silky and smooth. I can't feel the product on my hair and it certainly doesn't feel oily. In terms of hair care products, a hair oil is one of the most instant fixes. With treatments, I find that I need to use them a few times before I truly notice a difference in the condition of my hair. Although this oil probably isn't doing a whole lot of repairing, it certainly feels like it is.

With a price tag of $38, I will be waiting to see how long this bottle lasts me before repurchasing.
