Mita GEMTIPS Detangling Brush Review

Picked this up in the vault and i'm so stoked I did. First of all, the predominantly white hair brush with the coloured tips is so cute! Unique brush design, it felt quite flimsy. I thought I would have real issues with my long curly, thick hair and getting caught up in it. But I was pleasantly surprised.

Using this in the shower when wet,brushing my hair is a breeze. Distributing conditioner or a hair mask is literally a couple of strokes and it's done. Even brushing while dry is easy. I really didn't think I would like any brush more than my tangle teezer but I really love this brush. Highly recommend!

This is the nicest hair brush I have ever used. I have replaced this with my usual hair brush from the first time I used it. It easily gets rid of knots without pulling on your hair. I have thick hair that is constantly getting knotty but this brush eases through without pain

I picked this wee gem up in the Beauty Vault, boy am I glad I did! I absolutely love it! It is such a pretty looking brush, the coloured tips are so unique and girly.

I have very long hair which can get quite knotty, I didn't really think this brush was going to do much as it feels a bit flimsy but it glides through with ease and detangles brilliantly. It really suprised me.

This is now my main brush that I reach for everyday. It works perfectly on both wet and dry hair. It is super light weight and very comfy to hold. I also like that it is super easy to clean any hair that gets trapped in it. Definitely recommend!

This product is amazing! I have thin curly hair that gets extremely knotty. I have never been able to run a brush through my hair and struggle to do so when my hair is wet. Using this product is amazing, it glides through your hair. The first time I used this was on my hair dry when it was all knotted and tangled and it just went straight through, it was painless and quick! Usually I have to hold the bottom of my hair and tug it through but with this I just had to brush the hair through. This hair brush is amazing and I highly recommend this to all hair types, it even feels like your getting a head massage when brushing your hair. Definitely recommend purchasing!

I'll start by saying that I prefer using this brush only in the shower.

I found it to be difficult to use when my hair is dry, the bristles being so flexible, meant the brush would just get stuck when I reached a tangle point in my hair and they wouldn't brush through without a lot of effort.

In the shower however, it brushed through my wet hair easier, especially when the water was running while I brushed it. It was also good for spreading shampoo and conditioner through my hair. Because the bristles are long, I could really massage my scalp witn the brush and get a deeper clean than I would've with my fingers alone.

Another thing I noted was the handle got a bit uncomfortable to hold after a while, but my hair is very long so it takes me longer to brush it than most. I would've prefered a rounder handle.

Hair is relatively easy to remove from the brush between uses and as the design has spiral gaps, it is very simple to wash which is great.

Overall, I think this is a good brush for use on wet hair at an affordable price. I would recommend it for this purpose and I will continue to use it in the shower.

This brush would be suitable for brushing through conditioner and removing dandruff. I found the bristles quite firm and was harder on my scalp than my old brush, for this reason I would not use on dry hair and only in the shower, my hair is shoulder length. Both of my daughter's have long thick hair and felt that it didn't detangle their hair that well. We used it with wet and dry hair to give it a thorough test.

We all prefer the Mita TanglePro much more.

This brush is cute as heck (rainbow bristles!) and it works so well! I have long, fine curly hair that gets knotty VERY easily. I normally wouldn't dare brush my hair while it's wet because it would snag and break, but this brush is absolutely amazing for gently and painlessly detangling whether it's wet or dry. I like to bring this brush into the shower with me and use it to spread conditioner through my hair and get rid of any knots. I've also found that when my hair is dry, this brush leaves my hair looking smooth and sleek as opposed to the frizziness I got from my old hairbrush. I would definitely recommend the Mita GEMTIPS brush for anyone who is prone to tangles and wants a cute brush that will make your hair easier to manage.

Well, as a mother of two girls with long hair as well as having long hair myself, fighting knots is a daily battle! I am always on the look out for a brush that that will gently remove tangles and i have found it! This brush loosens the toughest knots easily with the bonus of being able to use it on wet hair as well as dry. It is a nice, light brush which is very easy for small hands to manage as well. I loved it so much that I have just put an order in for 3 more!
