Great amount of moisture and shine

Super excited to be able to review this as i love the smell and benefits of coconut. Again another great size container and the smell is just as divine as the conditioner. The consistency of this conditioner is very thick and almost like a cream or a mask and it smooths on my hair quite nicely. I comb it through and leave it for a few minutes to really work in. Once i rinse it my hair feels nice and soft and smells yummy. When my hair is dry its so soft and feels lovely, i still have flyaways but its quite easy to manage and i get a comment from two friends that my hair is so shiny! My pillowcase smells so yummy :)

Tips: Definitely use it with the shampoo to intensify the coconut experience. Also don't use too much as its quite a thick consistency.

Delivers on it promise of soft nourished hair.

I grabbed this at the supermaket as it happened to be the only conditioner on special at the time.

The conditioner stands on it head so it's easy to squeeze and easy to get out. I do use quite a bit of conditioner with my hair being long so it's handy it is a descent 325ml in size. The only annoying thing about the packaging is that the lid gets water in it, so you need to store it on a shelf away from water.

It is a lovely thick, creamy conditioner with a fairly strong coconut smell. I apply it from midway down my hair to the ends and give it a really good massage. I find it works quickly and only needs to be left in for a minute before you can rinse it out.

It definitely delivers on it's promise of softer more nourished hair especially when used alongside the matching shampoo. My hair feels soft and easy to brush so it does a fairly good job at detangling knots. While my hair does feel moisturised it is always very dry so I still need to use other products like hair masks, oils and detangles to maintain my hair.

Soft and Conditioned Hair

After trying the L’oreal Elvive Extraodrdinary Oil shampoo first, I couldn’t wait to try the matching conditioner. It is for normal to dry hair which is great as my hair is dry.

I’m a big consumer of conditioners and am always looking for good ones. I generally like L’Oreal.

The product comes in the same plastic bottle as the shampoo, with a pop top, and is easy to use in the shower. It is a thick white lotion with the same fabulous smells-like-coconut-but-is-a hair -product scent as the shampoo. Yummmm. The product claim is the same as the shampoo – a weightless nutrition conditioner which is a perfect dose of nutrition for free flowing hair and infinite softness. I haven’t been using large amounts each time, which I usually do with conditioner, but a lesser amount works very well. My hair feels hydrated and soft without being heavy or greasy. So it meets the claim of softness and weightlessness.

At $7.99 it’s a great price for a very good product. I would certainly purchase it again.

Tips: Use with the matching shampoo and the mask and oil, for great results.

Great fragrance

This thick and creamy conditioner left my hair feeling very soft and light after use. It has a fabulous long lasting fragrance that I can still smell in my hair the next day, however in saying that, If you had a nose very sensitive to strong perfumes, then this may not be the product for you. My hair is left shiny after using this conditioner in addition with the extraordinary oil coconut shampoo

Tips: A little goes a long way

Perfectly light weight for fine hair

This is definitely the conditioner to use in conjunction with the Extraordinary Oil Coconut Shampoo to get a good dose of nourishment and softness - they pair nicely. I have fine hair, so a heavy conditioner doesn't work for my hair at all. I'm left looking flat and oily - not soft and shiny!

Using this conditioner after shampooing, I was really happy to find my hair feels soft, silky and after styling quite light and bouncy. That's a tick for the 'weightless and soft' claims!

The scent of the conditioner is maybe slightly stronger than the shampoo – but a very pleasant coconut scent. Not over powering at all

The conditioner itself is quite a thick consistency, that coats your hair nicely. I used a blob maybe the size of a marshmallow, and even then I was probably more generous than I needed to be. Being on the thicker side for a conditioner, and feeling the shampoo had done a nice job smoothing my hair, I concentrated on my ends mostly with the conditioner. I left it on a couple of minutes, and rinsed. It rinses quickly and easily. There was no oily residue left after rinsing and my hair felt smooth, and tangle free, even after towel drying my hair. Very easy to brush afterwards On its own, after styling it definitely delivered on the softness promise. My hair felt lovely. I hoped for a little more shine courtesy of the coconut oil component but I knew I had other products in the regime to help this along.

I was particularly impressed that such a thick conditioner rinsed well and left me with really soft, light hair. It definitely didn't weigh down my hair at all. The scent I didn't find lingered - but that was fine by me

Not a WOW but definitely a winner for nourishing and softness in the Elvive range.

Elvive Extraordinary Fine Coconut Oil Conditioner

My hair is short, fine, limp and dry. I wash my hair at least 3 times a week as I swim in chlorine and this definitely adds to the dryness and frizziness. As with the shampoo I found the bottle large 325mls and used around a pea sized amount so felt it was value for money I washed my hair and then added conditioner and rinsed. I found the consistency to be like liquid honey. The condition did not leave a heavy greasy feel rather I had clean, soft and detangled hair.

Tips: As with the shampoo only used a small amount on the ends of your hair. I did finding leaving it in for 2-3 minutes had a better effect then rinising out straight away

Nourishing

I have fine, dry, frizzy and coloured hair and have been using this conditioner for the past 6 days. Like the matching shampoo this comes in a easy to use plastic bottle with flat lid which makes it easy to store. It has a soft pleasant smell which isn’t overpowering and doesn’t linger all day. The product is creamy and easy to apply and quite easy to wash off as well. After the wash the hair does feel quite soft and smooth and is very easy to comb/ brush out without the tangles. Would definitely recommend for dry hair types as my hair was nice and flowey after use and easy to manage.

L’Oreal Elvive Extraordinry Oil Cocont Conditioner

The smell is divine but what I love most about this product is how nourishing and moisturising it is for my hair but still very light weight. My hair doesn't lack volume as a result of it! The conditioner washes out well and it really helps untangle my long hair leaving it smooth and shiny. This boreal range seems a much better quality product than any other supermarket brand conditioner I've used in the past.

The consistency is quite thin, but it spreads nicely within the hair and I noticed it feeling smoother almost immediately. Make sure you leave the conditioner on for a good couple of minutes.

This combo alongside the Shampoo is just amazing.

Cant get over how good this hair range smells!!

Tips: The gold packaging makes it look more expensive than it is :)

Good For Under $5

I decided to purchase this after seeing it on BR and reading the rave reviews. I decided to start with just the conditioner as that is what I needed at that moment in time.

I have previously used other shampoos and conditioners in the Elvive range and liked them, so I had high hopes for this product.

Using it for the first time, I could instantly see it conditioned my hair better than the conditioner I had been using previously. After 24 hours however my hair is dry again (this happens no matter what product I use that said).

The conditioner was also creamy and had a nice coconut smell. For under $5 it was a good conditioner.

Extraordinary oil conditioner

Purchased this on sale at my local new world a few weeks ago for $3.99 which is reasonable considering the size. I used to use this religiously a while ago but they've since changed formula and this is my first time with the new formula. I have wavy hair that's been through the wars with bleach and colour so very damaged, so I need a conditioner that really hydrates. I loved the easy upside down packaging, it made it easy to get product out, I did notice the new formula doesn't feel as greasy or like it has as much 'slip' when applying if that makes sense so I found myself applying more to compensate. I found though after a few uses I don't actually need to use heaps of product, it may feel like it's not enough product but after I rinse and dry my hair it's soft, smooth and no frizz in sight. I'd repurchase this if it was on sale.

Tips: Less is more.
