L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Smooth Intense Shampoo Review

wow I just love this shampoo usually when I shampoo my hair it doesn't feel smooth after I've rinsed it out but with this shampoo it's super smoother and I absolutely love it after washing I blow dry my hair and it was so straight and smooth and it even smelt amazing I recommend it to everyone!

First of all, the packaging is nice and simple. I love that the bottle is see through so I can see how much product I still have left. The fragrance is divine, and it lasts at least a couple of days. I have tried other brands of 'anti-frizz' shampoo and they haven't worked well for my hair (it's naturally a frizz ball). This shampoo cleans me hair well, leaves no residue and I'm left with hair that is clean, light and blissfully frizz-free. I think it really is good value for money, will definitely be repurchasing.

Really satisfied with this product! The first time I used it I noted that it smelled nice, and had a nice consistency. The packaging was professional looking, and made me feel comfortable that I was using a good product. The shampoo lathered well, and didn't leave my hair feeling dry and rough afterwards. I sometimes have issues with dandruff, but my scalp has been really good in the past month using only this shampoo. After using the shampoo with the smooth intense conditioner, I blow dried and straightened my hair without adding other products to my hair to test the statement on the bottle that claimed to have in built styling protection, and I was really impressed! My hair straightened quickly and was smooth and shiny with few flyaways. My hair was also less greasy in between washes, which I think is partially because the shampoo doesn't dry out the hair too much to start with. The one downside I found was that it did nothing for my curls, and tended to dry my hair straighter than usual, adding unwanted volume to semi-wavy hair. I kept using only this shampoo and no other products til after I'd straightened it, and was happy that the effects of the shampoo didn't seem to 'fade' as others can, I usually switch shampoo/conditioners regularly and don't use matching combinations, but after using this, I feel confident that I could keep using both the shampoo and the conditioner consistently.

I love this product! my hair is hard to manage and a bit brittle and dry. I have extremely curly hair which after washing goes fluffy and frizzy. After using this shampoo and conditioner i let my hair dry naturally (something i don't normally do) My curls were not frizzy, and my hair was soft and shiny. I use this almost everyday and without fail my curls are tight and my hair looks healthy. I recommend to all the ladies with damaged hair! i will continue to use this product and so glad i was invited to trial! Its great being able to wash my hair and not have to style it straight away to avoid the frizzy.

On my first wash, as i rinsed out the shampoo i could already feel a difference my hair felt smooth! It also cleans my hair way better than what i was previously using! It definitely does what it says its guna do. Mixed with the smooth intense conditioner it works amazing and does leave my hair frizz free and smooth it even stayed straight and shiny/smooth on a night out in the cold. Im not sure if theres a bigger bottle but i would definitely use this if there is a bigger size.

I loved this product, it did exactly what it said it would on the bottle, it nourished my hair and calmed the frizz giving it lasting smoothness. I used the shampoo in conjunction with the conditioner and could not have been happier with the result. The shampoo itself is clear and of a light consistency, runny enough that you need to keep the bottle stored with the lid at the top or it could get messy. It is easy to apply, smells delightful and you only need a small amount to produce a good lather and for your hair to feel nice and clean, making it a very economic choice compared to some other supermarket brands. I have lots of fine flyaway shoulder length curly hair, when I just used the shampoo and conditioner with no other additional product and left my hair to air dry it felt soft and shiny and I was impressed at the control over the curls which have a tendency to go a little frizzy at the ends, with this product this was minimal. Brushing my hair while wet and leaving it to air dry had even better results with the smoothest result I have ever achieved without the use of additional styling creams. When straightening my hair I did use an additional argan oil product to aid with styling but once again the results were fantastic with fewer fly aways and a great smooth result that lasted until the next wash. The packaging is spot on, not too bulky, clearly labelled and in an appealing colour. After using this product for the duration of the trial I am hooked, my hair feels, looks and smells amazing, I would happily recommend this product to a friend and particularly anyone with a similar hair type to mine. Great job L’oreal, this product is a definite winner in my book.

Great product. I washed and let my hair dry naturally it was less frizzy than it usually is. It also left my hair smelling delish! Will definitely be buying this product again.

I have long, fine, dark hair with damaged ends & roots that are oily by the next day. Sigh. My hair is lucky if It gets styled every 3months as I'm more of a clean & go kinda girl & the plain jane style is my go to. I rarely buy supermarket products for my hair as I prefer to be a tad snobby & use well known salon brands. All in all I must say I am rather impressed with L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Smooth Intense Shampoo. It gave my hair a good clean without leaving it feeling like straw after rinsing out the shampoo. It gave me the sense that it was nourishing enough not to dry my hair out but also cleansing as my roots had some volume once air dried. I like the idea that it has heat protectant qualities in the products, I'm not sure if it does work as I think it would take a lot of repetitive use & heat styling to test it. I liked this product along with the conditioner and will be taking it with me into defence force training as I trust it to clean with out drying my hair out when used on a daily basis plus its great value.

I have oily, frizzy, thick hair which lacks shine. I've tried so many products - but this is the one that has made the biggest difference. I've been using this with the shampoo about every third day for 3 weeks and I love it. My hair feels lighter, smoother, silkier and looks amazing. It's shiny once more, and feels really soft. I'm now finding it easier to manage, and it seems to stay cleaner for longer.Just a quick note - DON'T be fooled by the price! It may seem cheap, but you don't get LOTS in the bottle. It's seriously a miracle in a bottle. Recommended to pretty much everyone! Will be repurchasing.

This is the shampoo i have been waiting to find my whole life! My hair condition has changed rapidly since starting to use this product in conjunction with the conditioner. Im so stoked how cheap and affordable the products are and will definitely be repurchasing this duo. I would have never imagined it could make my hair look so beautiful and make it so smooth and silky. My hair stays smooth for 2 days, and it won't become oily or anything. Plus, it even looks good on the 3rd day, and that never happened to me with any other shampoo. another bonus is that it doesn't leave any residue on my scalp and i love the scent! its pleasant and not too strong or overpowering
