L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Smooth Intense Conditioner Review

This is the same as my review for ELVIVE Smooth Intense Shampoo I was looking forward to giving this product a go as my hair is pretty flyaway/frizzy, so was hoping that this was the answer I had been looking for.The packaging was nice and the product smelled great. However... Sadly it didn't live up to my expectations. It made it feel nice and light, soft and clean. But that's where it stopped for me. I didn't really notice any difference in my hair's frizziness unfortunately. I don't think I would buy this product again.

I would not say my hair was perfectly frizz-free but it certainly got rid of most of it. Also, the frizz-free effect did not last 48 hours. However, I noticed enough of a difference that I would definitely buy it again. It also helped to detangle my hair a lot!! A blessing when you have long hair. It did not weigh my hair down at all. I enjoyed using this product, but I am not sure if I could use it all the time due to having blonde foils in my hair. However, I am going to continue to alternate it with my other conditioner.

I liked this. It's not my favourite but I liked it. I've used it for about a month now and I condition my hair 3-4 times a week. I have thick and curly hair so I tend to use a lot of conditioner in the shower but I don't need to use much with this one. Usually if I let my hair dry naturally it frizzes up in to a huge bush but I feel when I condition Elvive it's alot more tamed and smooth.

The packaging is quite nice and it smells real good too.

I really liked this product. I have fine fly away hair and this did make it more manageable. easy to apply with a nice foamy consistancy when rubbed in. Smelt pleasant and reminded me more of a salon brand than supermarket brand. Packaging was pretty plain and prob would not have caught my eye on the shelf. Pricewise its a bit more expensive than what I would normally purchase so would be more of a treat buy than regular puchase although results were good at stopping my fly aways so if this is your problem I would recommend this product.

I wouldn't say it really took any frizz away, but it did make my hair feel really nice and clean and easy to work with. It also made it look nice and shiny. If I blow waved it it seemed to be frizzier after than usual but if I towel dried it it wasn't. All in all a really nice product to use but not nessecarily for de frizzing use.

I liked this conditioner, I have brought elvive products before and will again because the conditioner doesn't weigh down my hair making it feel oily. I have ,major major issues with fizzy ad wavey hair but this seems to tame it well.

I was pleasantly surprised with this product. The packaging is standard, sturdy and easy to open and close in the shower.

It isn't particularly scented which is a good thing for me. The product is an average consistency, maybe slightly thinner than my usual conditioners. I find I use quite a lot of product. I have fine, curly hair, medium length. This rinses out well and my hair is not tangled and is easy to comb after I have used this conditioner. I don't know that you get a completely frizz free result, but it isn't bad. My hair isn't weighed down by the product. As my hair is quite dry something a tiny bit heavier may have been better but this is OK.

I have been trialing this for a few weeks now, along with the shampoo. I have very long thick hair and have found it seems to end up more frizzy than normal. I know it includes some extra oils for heat protection which is good. I don't normally straighten my hair often but felt I needed it after washing my hair with this shampoo. I also needed to wash my hair every other day rather than my usual 3 day cycle as my hair felt more greasy. Perhaps just not the right fit for my hair :)

This conditioner did do what it was supposed to do which was lessen my frizz, but it unfortunately left me with a very vibrant ginger tinge to my blonde hair. The conditioner was rather dark in colour compared to others I've tried in the past. And I found it didn't really condition my hair at all. There is a chance it could work wonders for someone with dark hair tho.

This conditioner did exactly what it said it would, and worked great on my hair in all types of environments. My hair was less frizzy, and stayed smooth throughout the day. Awesome product!
