L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Arginine Resist Shampoo Review

Good things first: I love the sleek black and pink packaging, the bottles look really nice in our bathroom. The scent is very berry-fruity, my hair smells so good after using this shampoo and its conditioner. This shampoo really cleanses my hair deeply and it doesn't leave any residue behind (or not that I would notice it).

Now, the only thing what I dislike about this product is that it doesn't stop or even help hairfall, I have problems understanding what does breakage have to do with hairfall in the first place (if you know something or have an idea please leave a comment) - as it says in the bottle how it helps stopping hairfall due to breakage... -.^ It just doesn't seem very logical in my opinion. Anyway, using this shampoo for weeks I still did not notice any difference in hairfall (sadly), so I'm a bit disappointed.

I'm not sure where to begin with this shampoo... It definitely left my hair feeling lush and healthy-looking, but I'm not sure how effective it was at reducing my hair fall. I usually only wash my hair every 3 days or so, and so maybe I didn't wash my hair enough to truly see the results, but I didn't really feel like the shampoo reduced my hair fall overly much. Towards the end of the the trial I did see a bit of a decrease, but it didn't decrease my hair fall as much as I expected. Otherwise it was a really nice shampoo, as it smelt really nice and left my hair in a very silky-smooth and healthy condition. I will definitely continue to use it as my hair fall did start to reduce a bit, but it unfortunately it just didn't have the drastic/immediate effect I was expecting/hoping for

Wow! I was looking for a product that would help me with my dull, lifeless and brittle hair and this is it! After having a baby a year ago, my hair was dry and falling out in bunches. After my first wash I noticed a huge change. My hair had volume, was notably shinier and there was hardly any fallout. My Husband even asked if I had been to the hairdressers! Everything about Elvive Arginine Resist Shampoo is good. The smell, the size of the bottles. It lathers up to a nice rich foam and washes out without leaving any residue. The price is a winner for me. I'll be adding this to my shopping list.

I have super long hair that is always falling out everywhere, so I was really hoping this product could do something for me. However, I have been using this for three weeks now, and unfortunately I haven't noticed any difference in hair fall at all, which is really disappointing. I followed all the directions, but I still get the same amount of hair loss as I have always been getting. However, aside from the fact that, for me, this product doesn't do what it says it does, it's a nice shampoo. The smell is really fruity and kind of berry which I like, and it's not too over powering. The shape of the bottle fits really nicely into my hand and I can squeeze out the right amount of product easily and comfortably, without dropping it or it slipping. The black and the pink packaging looks really sleek and clean, and the darkness of the black stands out against the white (or bright) shower setting. The shampoo lathers nicely and it's silky to touch, and it washes out easily (leaving no residue) without my hair feeling slimy, which I love! I haven't really noticed any particular improvement or change in my hair from using this product, much to my disappointment. Overall, it is a nice shampoo, it just didn't do what it was designed to do (for me). I would use this (but probably would not purchase it myself), however not for it's anti hair fall properties, just as a general shampoo.

Light on the scalp and beautifully-fragranced, this was a delight to use. Not too stripping on my hair either. I did notice a reduction in how much hair fall I noticed, but will keep using it for longer for probably better results. Lovely.

My hair overall felt healthier, and it definitely seems as though less hair falls when I brush/comb it in the morning! I shampoo twice, then use the Arginine Resist conditioner. Down to one or two strands from 5+. Really loving it!

The packaging (bottle) is a very eye catching crimson and black. The perfume is both refreshing and subtle. A good thick consistancy shampoo where a little goes along way. Very easy to apply to your hair. Left my hair feeling clean This shampoo is designed to reduce hair fall. Does it do this? I am not sure.I have definitely noticed that there is not so much hair in my brush as there normally is and will be interested to see what happens now I have gone back to another brand. I would definitely recommend this shampoo to others who suffer from hair breakage and fall.

I have been trying the L'Oreal Paris ELVIVE Arginine Resist Shampoo for over 2 weeks now and I must say it is FABULOUS! I have always used expensive shampoos and am often suspicious of supermarket shampoo but I must say I was really impressed with this product. Firstly the smell is really good and I find it lingers which I love. It's washes out well and my hair feels clean and fresh. Originally I didn't notice any less hair fall but I have to say over the last week I have really started to notice less hair in my comb which is exciting. I would defiantly recommend this product to others, it's a great product for a cheap price!

After using this shampoo for three weeks I have definitely noticed a reduced amount of hair fall. My husband even commented that the shower drain has not had hair balls in it for a while which used to be quite an issue. I wash my hair every two days and have also seen an improvement in how long my hair stays looking clean. It lathers easily and smells nice.

When this first arrived, I thought the packaging was fantastic - love the pink and black concept, and appeared to be very chic. The first thing I did was smell the product and it was divine, and unfortunately that is about as far as I can go with positive comments. Unfortunately for me I did not see any improvement in reducing the hair fall. The same amount came out in the shower and after brushing in the mornings - so a little disappointed there. I also felt that it made my hair feel dryer than my normal shampoo and conditioner combo. Maybe it will work for others, but unfortunately no improvement here.
