Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Review

The BB cream matches my skin tone which is light. But i found the the normal perfector bb cream made my skin look a little bit oily around my t - zone which i didn't like so much about this product. so i just put a bit of pressed powder to take the oily look away. The cream was very thick consistency but it spread really well over my face which i was happy about. It felt very light on my face,and i was thinking it would be thick and heavy. There is a fragrance smell to the product but i must off got used to it as i didn't smell once i applied it. So that was good as it did not smell very well. The coverage is a sheer/(light), it is prefect for everyday wear. The coverage lasted around 6 hours all over but after 6 hours i would touch up under my nose and under the eyes. that did not bother me as i am wanting a natural look sometimes. The price is around the same price as other drugstore BB creams. it is affordable for everyone. The packing is small and easy to carry in your school bag or handbag, so you can take it around during the day as it is a plastic bottle which is good. My overall review of this BB cream is that i really like it as it has a good light coverage which i like in the weekends and when i am running late and i need something quick to put on and the garnier BB cream covers my redness which is the main thing i need to cover. it really works for my skin tone

The cream just seemed to be a little thick or gluggy... it went on quite well though and blended really nicely with my skin tone. Only needed a tiny amount to cover my face. It did feel a little heavy or oily though, but I'm not sure if that is just the consistency or my skin! Overall it did what it said it would, and helped even out my skin tone.

I normally use the combination skin type of this product in Summer, however I find it too drying in the winter. I was very excited to trial this product and see if it performed on all its claims. The tube is a nice gold colour and it has a convienient flip top. Perfect for those mornings when you are in a rush and next to get going quickly. The first time I used the product I noticed its creamy texture and pleasant smell. The product looks very thick when it comes out of the tube but glides on easily and has more of a sheer coverage then you would expect (from looking at the product in the tube). It is very easy to apply and requires hardly any blending. The colour (light) matched well with my skin tone as wasn't as orange looking as some of the other Garnier BB creams. The first time I wore this product I used it on its own to see what it could deliver. I was not that impressed as the coverage was sheer I didn't feel it covered any red areas or blemishes. I also prefer a matt finish and this was definitely dewey. To solve this problem I used a mineral powder to set the BB cream and give it more of a matt finish. I also used an additional concealer for those pesky area, such as under my eyes. Even with the powder I still got a little shiny by the late afternoon. I have definitely come to like this product more as I have used it but for what it is, more of a tinted moisturiser than a BB cream. I will be sticking with my ZA BB cream for now.

There are many really great things about having porcelain skin. It's striking and means you suit tonnes of lip colours, but is not so great in that you must search to the ends of the earth for complexion products and avoid the sun like the plague. I have been blessed with NW5/10 skin that I love and look after, and so I put my hand up for this trial to do all fair skinned ladies like me a service and see if this product in 'light' really was light enough. I knew it would be touch and go, and that since such products need to be formulated to fit a range of skin tones, I recieved this product cautiously hopeful but ready to be dissapointed. Alas, as per my prediction this product is significantly too dark for moi. I reckon that for about NC/NW20 to 30 it would be just beautiful. And that is because it is a really beautiful product. It applies like a dream, feels just like a moisturiser and hydrates the skin without being heavy or sticky. It veils the skin with a lovely lightweight coverage that seems to blend and blurr out uneveness and give the skin a gorgeous dewy lustre. Did I use enough adjectives in that sentence? I think so. I did try this on my face despite it not being my shade and I loved the way that it blended out into the skin and provided a coverage which was somewhat between that of a tinted moisturiser and a light coverage foundation. Win. My sister and mother both gave it a go and thought it made their skin look awesome. I think that for 17.50 you can't go wrong with this product, and I'm very thrilled that Garnier is churning out very high quality products at affordable prices. If only they made it in extra-light. The expedition for a pale BB continues!

To start off with, this bb cream doesn't really have any scent to it that i notice. The consistency is so much thicker than any foundation i use. I used different methods of applying this bb cream.

Flat top kabuki brush - This method made the bb cream go on a bit splotchy as its quite thick. It gave quite a medium coverage. It was not lightweight and it did feel like i have product on my skin.

Damp Beauty Blender - This sheered out the bb cream and gave a light to medium coverage and a dewy finish. The application went on a little better but still gave that heavy feeling of having a product on my face.

The product itself isn't impressive, within two hours of wear, my imperfections had peeped through the bb cream. My skin looked so cakey and textured than it actually is. I use essano moisturiser underneath and with or without primer, the results were not as good. It did not smooth my skin and brought out more texture than my skin actually has. It's very thick, and even though i use a little bit, it did not apply flawlessly. Unfortunately, my skin also reacted with this and had I had broken out of small comedones on my forehead. And this was the only product i added on my routine. Sorry Garnier, I probably won't repurchase.

NB cream review

The formula is Thick and a little goes a long way Application is easy I used my finger tips. The pigmentation was not too over powering for my very fair completion which is hard to find On first impression after application it looks very shiny but it absorbs quite well into the skin and can still be felt on the skin hours later because of this it felt as if it was caked on my face and I wanted to remove the product off my face Unfortunately this BB cream is fragranced which is a shame. A combination of its thick feeling on my skin and the over powering fragrance has hindered me from using this daily. It has also broken me out so I have stopped using this, I might add I have not change anything in my beauty routine apart from this BB cream and I hardly never break out. I'd only use this product every now and then maybe to put some coverage for impromptu guests or dinner date I wouldn't want to wear it for a whole day on my face

My skin type is normal and I found this a great light cover as a tint moisturizer or as a primer under foundation for heavier coverage. It was easy to apply with my fingers, no need for a brush. One thing I did't like was the perfume, I felt that it was too strong, but would not stop me buying the product again.

I felt like the product lasted well if I put a little powder over the top.

This product is well worth the money and easily accessible from the supermarket. Packaging is simple and the product is a good size that lasts a while.

SO to conclude, the product was worth the money, I would use it again as it promised what it said it would do!

OMg i am ssooooooo inlove wiith BB cream ever since usingBB cream my skin is so much nicer it really does what it says it does i have been using the anti ageing one (never too young to start using) and my goodness it sure does help with my wrinkles on my forehead so ues 10/10 for me :)

Wow! The first day my Garnier Miracle BB cream (normal) arrived the first thing I did was open the box,follow the instructions and squirt some into my hands and rub onto my face. I actually couldnt believe it was THAT easy!!! Bein a busy Mumma I need a GREAT beauty routine,but one that doesnt take ages,and this BB cream is just that - Fast and Fantastic!! From the very first squirt into my hand I knew it would be good stuff as it had a nice pleasant smell. Rubbing into my hands I was worried that it couldnt possibly "cover" imperfections on my face and moisturise at the same time. But it did just that!!I used it as if it was moisturiser,covered my whole face and neck,it was light and easy to rub in,-without "drying up". Looked in the mirror and was surprised to see no streaking and an even coverage! I did however chose the wrong colour for me,but had it bein the light instead of med,it would have been perfect!! It lasted throughout most of my day which to me is another plus as I dont have time to re apply my makeup! Despite it being the wrong colour for me I have been using it every day and I love it,nice even coverage,moisturised skin and easy peasy to do with a great look to top it off. Thanks BR, I will be buying the "light" for me from now on, but i think ive found my new day to day makeup :)

I have been using my Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream for the past 5 days now and I am really impressed!

I have been using the MAC Prep and Prime BB Cream and previously, Clinique. The Garnier BB Cream beats the MAC by far! It has fantastic coverage, really makes a difference to you overall appearance in terms of covering up redness, evening out skin tone and giving you a nice healthy glow.

It applies well and a little goes a long way too. I would def go with a darker shade than your skin, I am quite fair but have been using the Medium colour and I think it looks great. If you find it too dark, you can always add some moisturiser to lessen it up a bit.

There were a couple of cons with this BB Cream which I find valid to share - it has quite a noticable chemical smell and I found it did sting a little when applying to freshly cleansed / toned skin. Perhaps my skin is just a little sensitive?

I am definitely going to keep using this tube to its end. It's a great BB cream to throw on when you're rushing out the door with kids and errands and just need to give your face a good once over to face the day!
