Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-Free Review

I've only tried 2 other brands of BB creams, and I wasn't really impressed. I thought that this one would be the same, but I was pleasantly surprised! I applied it to my face with my flat top brush because I don't like using my hands for stuff like that. It blended really well and the coverage was better than I was expecting. It covered my acne scars really well, and even covered my dark under eyes pretty well too! I usually put a powder foundation over the top of my BB cream because I need more coverage, but I didn't need to with this BB Cream. It lasted all day without rubbing off, looking cakey or needing a touch up due to my skin being oily. It looked very natural, evened out my skin tone very well and controlled the shine. I have a hard time finding liquid foundations that are the right shade for me because I'm really pale, but the light shade was the perfect match for my skin. I did find the BB cream quite runny, but the small hole made it easy to manage compared to other brands I've tried that have a bigger hole, which makes too much come out! A little really does go a long way with this product. I found if I applied too much, it would look too dark or orangey but when I apply a tiny amount, it looks amazing. I was lucky enough to be able to trial this Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector Oil-free SPF 15 BB Cream as a part of the numerous trial invites that were sent out to numerous members.

Upon receiving the product, my initial impression was the packaging. It came in a small rectangular box which was obviously Garnier. The actual packaging of the product was a long thing tube with an easy screw lid. To be quite honest, my initial thought was that there wasn't much product at all for the size and price that it is sold for for.

However, opening the product, I realised that the BB cream was very thing and more of a liquid compared to my past experiences with other BB creams. But I wasn't sure if this was a good thing or not...

When I used the product, I applied it immediately after my morning routine of scrubbing, toning and moisturising my face. My skin was soft and fresh at this point and the application of the BB cream was very easy. Because of the liquidness I found it highly easy to apply... but I also found that I was more prone to streaks when applying which I didn't find as a problem with other BB creams that I've used. This is an easy fix though - rub the area with a damp sponge!

I wore it during the day and also until around 9 o'clock at night. I found it to be fine all day at this point - no major slipping or oxidising to report. However, I did find that as my skin slowly dried, the dry skin became more prominent throughout the day due to the BB cream sticking to the dry skin. This wasn't a major issue though as it's something that wasn't very obvious, only to me.

I usually use light when it comes to Garnier BB creams but I found the shade medium to be a perfect colour for me. It wasn't too light, but it also wasn't too dark. It matched my skin perfectly. I did not look orange either! Instead a healthy tan. I was able to blend the BB cream into my jawline to make it less obvious that I was wearing it.

In terms of coverage, I found this BB cream to have a light to medium coverage, which to me, is to be expected of a BB cream. I would not expect a heavy coverage with a BB cream - that is what foundation is for. I found it light and easy to wear with even the most natural looking make up (and even without any make-up!). It was not obvious to others that I was wearing it (I did ask).

Overall, I would truly recommend this BB cream to those with combination skin. I found that not only didn't it slip very easily but also it didn't oxidise or cake a lot compared to others. I found it very easy to apply and it lasted all day.

Was so happy to get to review this, have heard a lot about bb creams and garnier is a brand I like. I'm only on day 2 of trial but have to say this bb cream is awesome! As a busy mum I rarely have more than 2 mins to try look presentable.

- product is quite runny, first time I applied I did as said on bottle which is apply like a moisturiser.. This didn't work streaky face all over so I will use a sponge or brush from now on. - this is the perfect shade for me, I have freekles and this blends in and makes me all one shade (lol) - perfect matte finish!! -stays on all day. Re touch in late avo to last longer. - today I've used a powder on top and I'm super happy with the look...no need for a foundation today! -lightweight feels like a moisturiser and I'm hoping all the goodness in it will be good for my skin overtime. -doesn't have a strong smell - feels good ;-) -no oily or patchy parts of face! Which is a big thing for me!

I was extremely excited to be invited to trial this as I haven't had much success with BB creams before. My first time using this I was really happy with the results. It gave me a nice and even coverage and covered up all my redness that I have around my nose, help hide my dark undereye circles AND hide my enlarged pores! (I'm excited to see how my pores look after four weeks as it says that this BB cream can reduce pore size)

I loved how it gives your skin a nice matte look and at the end of the day it had definitely helped with keeping my skin shine free.

I got mine in the medium shade. My husband didn't even realize I had anything on my skin, thats how natural it looks. Its definitely my go to moisturizer now.

I also used this as a primer and it helped my foundation stay all day and because it controls oil, I didn't need to powder throughout the day to keep the oil at bay. It helped me to achieve an even coverage and gave me a flawless look.

I'm definitely a BB cream convert now

Was so excited to be selected to be part of the trial team for this product! I generally wear a medium coverage foundation, and don't tend to go for the BB's or lighter foundations, but I honestly love this product! I've used this product every day since it has arrived and have noticed the difference in my skin. First impressions were quite good, I applied product with my fingers not a brush and the coverage was surprisingly good. I did apply some concerler to pimples as these weren't sufficiently covered by the BB. I had the lightest colour and this was perfect for my skin tone and blended out well. Overall i found the formula to be quite wet on my skin, but this did dry into my skin after a wee wait. After just about a week of using this I have noticed a bit of a difference in my skins tone. The colour is more even overall and i haven't got any new spots which is nice. Would recommend this to my friends in a heart beat, also good that there are lots of different formula for different skin types. Very glad that I got the oil free one I found that it stayed on my face for a full day without sliding off, if I was going to have an extra long day I would probably put a wee dust of powder on too just for the extra stay power. Im in love with this BB will be buying it when this tube has run out!

Finally i have found a BB Cream that does what it says it will do.. On the first day i applied it alone with no primer (which i always have to do) and it was great, I applied it with my Real techniques expert sponge, it applied so smooth and flawless and had great coverage. Now for the oil factor, I have such oily skin it is ridiculous. This is great as i always have to go really matte to cover the oil but i didn't have to while trialing this, for the first time I could have a dewy look without it looking like an oil slick. I am so so happy and think this may be my new "foundation"

I have very big pores and as a result I only use powder on my face as a base otherwise my skin feels "trapped" and it feels it cannot breathe under the make up if that makes sense? I was very excited to try the Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-free SPF 15. I have used it everyday and not once have I experienced any sweat or "trapped" feelings on my skin. To me that was the big test as many other products out there will give a smooth round off look. I am so hooked on this. My skin stayed oil free for the full day which was amazing for me!!!! It hides all the pores and gave me a smooth finished look. Thank you for sending me the trial. I am hooked for life.

Absolutely love it.as I have oily skin the bb cream hid that , as it works with my skin.didnt have to use much at all ,it spreads across my face smoothly. It doesn't make you look like you put heaps on .yet you knw you have covered any plimishes \pimples. It says to can apply one coat then another over top again ,perfect for a night out which I did.it just gives a little bit more to the night look.i used just one layer for day time.so its not over the top .it feels to me after you apply like its turned in to powder to set it which is awesome .medium was the colour I choose I wouldn't go any lighter.but for summer would need slightly darker one if any.bonus is that it has spf 15 if you forget sunscreen. At least your slightly covered. Im not sure if my pores are less visable tho as it states. Only need to squeeze the tube a little bit otherwise you will get to much.good size tube ! Face does feel soft as well. Id keep using this bb cream for sure.

I was really excited to try this BB cream as I had heard good things from friends about this so I had quite high expectations and after using this every day for the past week it has really lived up to these! For myself this has been a great alternative to wearing foundation every day, as during the week I don't like to wear to much makeup. I really love this product and it has definitely been the best BB cream I have used. I much prefer this to a tinted moisturiser as it has better coverage and with oily patches tinted moisturiser can leave me looking a bit shiny. The consistency is very runny which makes it easy to apply with a foundation brush and blend easily over your face, only a small amount is needed as a little goes a long way. The medium colour was perfect for me. It looks very natural and leaves a very even look over my whole face with a nice matte finish which is just what I like. My pores and imperfections were definitely less visible, it had really great coverage especially when I applied a second coat I thought it looked better than my current foundation. I can't wait to use this in summer as it is lightweight but still gives a great coverage and helps with the oily patches on my face. It lasts well throughout the day but a downside for me is that even though it feels like it is dry it still comes off quite easily when clothing touches my face. This is an amazing BB Cream for such a low price and can be purchased almost anywhere. Overall I feel this is a great product and does everything it says it will. I will be recommending it when asked what BB cream I have found to be the best and definitely buying it once this one has run out.

I was very keen to try this product as I've never used a BB cream before. Generally when I put something on my face, it feels clogged, and I sweat. This is so light, I was amazed at how it felt. No shine, a lovely matte finish which I love. My nose is very greasy and I couldn't see any grease at all for the whole time I had the product on. Long lasting and certainly does as it says! I'm converted!
