I'm a huge fan of asian BB creams, so I was interested to try a european BB and see what it was like.
On initial application, the BB felt smooth and easy to apply, and it gave a good amount of coverage. The light shade perfectly matched my NW 15-20 skin and I was happy with the finish - not entirely matte as it says, i'd day its more of a demi-matte, satin finish.
As always, I set the BB with powder - I always do this with BB cream. However, after about 4 hours of wear I started looking very greasy and oily - not what I expected from a BB targeted for oily skinned peeps like me :(
I touched up with powder at lunch time, but unfortunately at about 4pm I was looking like a greaseball again.
Overall - it's a good BB cream that would suit dry/normal skin, but if you are combo/oily I would steer clear, unless you are ok with touching up. It gives nice coverage but I personally don't think it should be marketed as specifically for oily skin, because it didn't work for me.
First of all I will admit I'm very picky with bb creams. I have my favourites- lioele, chi chi, and skin79- and while there are some I kind of like (loreal, Maybelline,) I do tend to stick with those, because they do ever thing I want them to. I was excited to try this range specifically targeted at certain issues- oil, anti aging etc. Due to my combination skin which has been quite oily through the t zone lately I went with the combination to oily formula in light. The formula is a bit thin and I had to use more than I normally would. It took a long time to blend in - tried with fingers, a brush and sponge, and I found the colour oxidized a bit orange on my skin. The finish was nice and felt lovely but the product moved easily on my skin and didn't like my foundation over the top. The coverage was ok but I wasnt impressed with the colour. It seemed to sit on my skin for a long time and not really settle. The packaging was ok but the smell of the product was quite chemically and I could smell it on my face. It didn't have a lot of staying power in comparison to others and in general it wouldn't be one I purchased, but for a cheaper bb it would stand up ok. I am glad I got to try it, I do prefer to invest in my primer products and save money elsewhere and this product did remind me why.
