GARNIER'S new BB Cream,  combats shiny, oily skin, by combining the power of ultra-absorbent mineral pigments for an immediate matte look and perfect, even-toned skin.

The oil-free BB cream works in five ways. It reduces imperfections, moisturises, gives skin a healthy glow, delivers a beautiful matte finish to skin and provides all-important sun protection with SPF 15.

GARNIER'S Oil-free BB Cream provides instant results while also improving the skin’s quality over time. After four weeks the results are clearly visible; skin is less oily, pores reduced in size, imperfections are visibly reduced and skin radiance is improved.

It has a  new active ingredient,  Mineral perlite - a powerful volcanic rock extract known for its ultra-absorbing properties.

Mineral perlite is able to retain up to two-and-a-half times its weight in oil and water and is five times more absorbing than talc, meaning any excess sebum is absorbed to fight that oily shine. This combined with uncoated mineral pigments gives the skin an even tone and a perfectly matte finish

Garnier Oil Free BB Cream - Stays matte!

I have been trying out the Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream in Oil-Free for over a week now and it has some really good points and a couple not so good. I have combination skin with a very oily t-zone and dry patches under my eyes and around my nose. I was surprised that this BB cream really was matte and stayed matte for a good 5-8 hours throughout the day. The color was almost too orangey for my pale skin tone but I could make it work and it will be perfect in Summer. If you are very pale or have a pink under tone to your skin this might not work for you. The only real flaw I found in this product is that it clinged to my dry patches a bit too much and made them stand out more. It has a good coverage and I could wear it with or without a foundation on top. If you have oily / prone to breakouts skin then I would recommend giving this a go! - It also contains SPF 15 so its a great all in one product.

A little goes a long way.

I was a little skeptical going into this trial, as my skin is problematic at the best of times. I have a very fair complexion which is often shiny and prone to breakouts. Not just the odd pimple, but consistent acne. Due to the fairness of my skin, the redness of breakouts stands out like a sore thumb. I applied the BB Cream expecting my redness to still be obvious, but I was pleasantly surprised! The cream covered the spots, and the redness went down almost completely a few minutes after application. It had my skin tone looking nice and even, and didn't leave me feeling like I was wearing a mask. I just had to put on some pressed powder and I was ready and confident to face the world. The cream has a nice smooth consistency, which goes on much easier than a liquid foundation. It is absorbed readily into the skin and doesn't need heavy buffing into problem areas. I found that only a very small amount of product is needed to cover the entire face, which makes it a very economical product. After this trial, I am definitely a BB Cream convert. It is so easy to use, and leaves the skin looking even and smooth. I'm definitely going to be keeping this in my makeup kit!

Tips: On days when you feel you need more full coverage, this product works well as a base before your usual foundation. Much like a primer, it helps to even the skin tone and give you a great blank canvas.

My New Daily Staple Item

I have always had combination skin, making the staying factor of my make up a constant challenge. When I saw this BB Cream, I wondered if this might finally provide a solution. My first use of the BB Cream was nottoo good, i applied like a moisturiser and so ended up with way too much product on my face! ha ha. However, on day 2 I just added a drop to each finger tip on my left hand and dabbed on my face before blending in. The Cream is runnier than I was expecting, but blended into my face beautifully. I did find that i had to store the tube upside down to prevent the product pouring out when opened. Application - is it easy to apply? How did you apply it? The coverage was great, I found that just 4 small drops was enough for my face, and that it stayed in place all day long. Usually at the end of the day when I cleanse my face, there is hardly any make up left (except mascara) but since using this BB Cream I have noticed that I still have nearly a full face of make up. Yay, finally my make up isn't running off during the day!! I think this has a great price, does what it says it will do, the packaging is easy to store and get the product out of, but for a first time user, I think a bit more application instruction would be handy. However, like i mentioned before, I recommend storing it upside down to stop the cream running out when you open it - saves mess, and product wastage. I have already told my friends around this, and will definitely be continuing to use it. After just 2 days I received compliments about how fresh and clear my face was looking :) Can't wait to see how my skin continues to improve as after just 1 week it seems to be less oily and less red. I also love the fact I haven't had to use foundation with this either!!

Tips: Less is more. Start out with a few small dabs, and ad more product if you need it. Adding too much makes you look like an extra from Jersey Shore!! ha ha

Garnier BB Cream Oil-free

Having never used or considered using a BB cream I was excited to trial. The packaging/advertisement promises a lot for a cream. And generally these promises were surprisingly correct.

First impressions of the BB cream was that it was very runny which was not expected. Easy to make a mess, especially within the lid. The colour matched my skin well which is usually difficult when so light. Coverage was good minimising redness and blemishes. It felt light on the skin and did not appear caked on. Can be layered to give a thicker coverage. Lasted most of the day at work but by the end of the day was bearly noticeable. Was easy to apply (just with fingers as a standard cream) and easy to blend. If enough care was not taken to blend then a tide mark can be noticeable. Dried with a nice matte finish.

Generally I did like this product and less it better. I would use this product again as a quick morning/work alternative to makeup. It does what it says it will within limits of a cheaper bb cream.

Tips: Can be built up or used under a foundation for a better coverage.

Mattifying BB cream? Yes please.

I was sceptical about the idea of a mattifying BB cream for oily skin but I was pleasantly surprised. There is no noticeable fragrance and the cream is surprisingly liquidy so make sure you keep the tube upright when you're using it but this consistency makes it quite easy to apply. I like applying the product with my fingers but I do use a makeup sponge to add a little extra around my nose and to smooth out any patchiness. The first time I applied it I think I used too much because a little goes a looooong way but once I mastered the application I found it had a nice light coverage which can easily be built up as much as you like. I felt like it covered up my redness and left me with a lovely matte finish that lasted almost all day (I have a tendency to rub my face). I feel like it's definitely worth the price which isn't much compared to other products and lasts forever since you only need a little bit everyday. The packaging is nice and simple and looks like other garnier products with black and green on the box and a nice flesh tone on the tube. The only negative thing I can think of is that I have seriously pale skin (yay winter) and even though I chose the light colour, I thought it was a little dark for me but a little pale finishing powder made a huge difference and I'm sure it will be spot on in Summer. All in all I would say that if you have oily skin that normal foundation slides off then this the product for you. I love it.

Tips: Use your fingers to apply a little product to small areas and blend in quickly since the cream dries quite quickly, you can easily apply a little more where needed for increased coverage.

Miracle Skin Perfector-Oil-free BB cream

I was very interested to trial this product, there has been much hype about BB creams and how amazing they are, even the name of this one says its a "miracle" and "perfector" so i was a little excited to give this a go.

ive never used BB cream before, so i have nothing to compare it to, and i liked this yes, it found it interesting and essentially a foundation but i wouldnt call it a miracle perfecter cream, its more a light foundation.

the instructions say to basically use it the same as you would your moisteriser. i found out the very first time, that for me, this is not a good idea! im quite heavy handed on my moisteriser and as this is quite a light runny liquid i ended up in a bit of a mess. and a bit orange!

i got there in the end, a lighter application and a second application over the top is meant to cover more and make it a more matte finish. it looked fine and was easier to use than a foundation.

it blended in with my skin tone ok, once i had put less on! and i found it easy to blend into my chin and jawline, no obvious foundation line.

i have combination skin, bits of it are dry, bits are oily and bits are normal, this was fine on the normal/oily parts, however it really accentuated the dryer parts making it quite obvious i had a bit of flakey skin, so if you are like me then a wee exfoliation before application makes a lot of difference!

there is virtually no smell to this product, its very minimal which is great, strong scented products im not attracted to at all.

i found it rubbed off easily, there is no staying power to this, so maybe i would need to put a powder over the top, im not sure, i would lose the "glow" then surely. im not very good with makeup application, so i need to keep playing to see what i can do to make the colour last the distance.

would i use this again? yes. i find its easier to apply than a liquid foundation, it seems to be an ok colour, though i do have to be careful of applying too much.

as i havent had this product long, i cannot comment on their claim that in 4 weeks i would have clearly visible improvements in my skin, though i will keep using this and see what happens.

Tips: Be careful taking the top off, if you arent over a paper towel or the sink you may find it has the potential to make a mess, its pretty light and watery!

Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB cream Oil-free

The actual product was nice. It wasn't greasy or strong in fragrance, but sadly for me, the light colour was far too dark. It left dark orange lines around my chin despite countless attempts at blending. If my skin tone was darker I would consider wearing this.

Tips: Be sure of your skin tone. I am always fair in products but this was very dark on me. Otherwise it's a good cream that does everything it said it would.

Garnier Miracle Skin BB Cream - my go to BB cream

This product does what is says it does - It reduces imperfections, moisturises, gives skin a healthy glow and delivers a beautiful matte finish to skin. My skin stayed matte all day and I didn't have to touch up with powder at all.

Tips: Only complaint - not a nice smelling product

The light was probably too light for me so I would go for medium next time.

Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-free S

I was quite interested in using the Garnier BB cream because I have often thought about buying a tinted moisturiser because I do not wear foundation.

On opening the BB cream (Medium shade), I noticed it is more a 'lotion' than a cream. It is a very runny consistency but this is not all bad, because it makes a little go a long way and is very easy to apply. I would dot it around my face and blend it in. The cream applied really well and I was surprised how well it spread over my skin. The colour was a really nice medium shade and went really nicely with my skin tone.

I was surprised to see that when I applied it to my forehead it accentuated some pigmentation I had never noticed before. My forehead is generally drier than other parts of my face, so am not sure whether this was the reason. On adding another application in the area it did appear to cover this but I felt it was a bit heavy for my liking.

There was no unpleasant fragrance when using the BB cream.

I definitely enjoyed the feel of this product over a foundation, which I have worn on special occasions. I would agree Garnier BB cream has a lightweight texture and feels much more natural than other foundation products. After applying it, my skin still felt clean and fresh. I think this cream would be great for other people who are starting off wearing make up for the first time or for younger skins.

I think the cream comes in a handy sized tube. Easy to throw in your handbag for reapplication later in the day. There is a lot of information to read on the box which is in a very small font, might put off older ladies or sight challenged people.

It lasted well. About 5 or 6 hours and it did keep its matte finish for all of this time.

I love the SPF factor.

I didn't use this product long enough to see any specific results with regards to minimising pores, less oily skin, reducing imperfections, but I did enjoy the matte finish, shine control and the even tone it gave my skin.

Tips: I would still add a bit of my moisturiser to my skin after toning and then apply the Garnier BB cream afterwards. When opening the tube, make sure you hold it upright and hold it lightly so as not to spill it.

Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-free

I went into this trial the biggest of skeptics.

Now you are preaching to the converted! Or whatever that saying is! I absolutely LOVE this cream - the difference it made was actually pretty amazing.

I applied it with my hands, thinking of it as like a foundation. And after a few days of that, didn't even want to use my foundation again.

I wear makeup about once a month, so not often, but when I do, I can do it well (one of my very small talents is applying my warpaint!)

This cream with just some mascara really changed how I feel about wearing an every day face now.

It's so smooth to apply, it's not heavy, it's soft, I actually got told that I looked like I was glowing by our office administrator. And that was weird to hear. Felt like I was in an ad and no one had told me so I didn't have the right reply to graciously accept that compliment ("whatever, you are!")

The single only downfall with this product is that it is runny. Boy oh boy, is it runny! This is going to be something I may keep in a bag - the lid is already packed with excess cream, rushing to get out and onto my face.

Dispite this, I couldn't rate it higher or be a newly converted BB fan!

Ps it came off really nicely too, unlike some foundations where you feel like it's still on your face even after washing. My skin still felt really nice after taking it off!

Tips: I'd suggest using a lightly damp sponge to apply, the cream really gets into every little valley in your hands if you put it on like I did and then it's hard to wash off!
