GARNIER'S new BB Cream,  combats shiny, oily skin, by combining the power of ultra-absorbent mineral pigments for an immediate matte look and perfect, even-toned skin.

The oil-free BB cream works in five ways. It reduces imperfections, moisturises, gives skin a healthy glow, delivers a beautiful matte finish to skin and provides all-important sun protection with SPF 15.

GARNIER'S Oil-free BB Cream provides instant results while also improving the skin’s quality over time. After four weeks the results are clearly visible; skin is less oily, pores reduced in size, imperfections are visibly reduced and skin radiance is improved.

It has a  new active ingredient,  Mineral perlite - a powerful volcanic rock extract known for its ultra-absorbing properties.

Mineral perlite is able to retain up to two-and-a-half times its weight in oil and water and is five times more absorbing than talc, meaning any excess sebum is absorbed to fight that oily shine. This combined with uncoated mineral pigments gives the skin an even tone and a perfectly matte finish

GARNIER Miracle Skin Perfector-Oil-free BB cream is available in two shades - light and medium.

Gariner Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-free

I have been using this for a week now and I really like it. Its lightweight, doesn't feel like you are wearing a heavy foundation , a little goes a long way. Really good coverage. And at the end of the day my skin doesn't feel hideous like you do when using normal foundation like have in the past, usually cant wait to wash my face. With this I don't feel like this. Just feels like I'm wearing moistruiser. Definatly you get you money worth out this little tube

Tips: Just remember a little goes a long way, you don't need to squeeze a lot out of the tube. This I reckon will last me at least 6months

Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-free S

I trialled the combination to oily skin in a medium colour tone. My skin is normally reasonably oily down the T zone and I often get acne - too much for a 47 year old! When I first tried it out of the tube I felt it was a little too watery. It did however cover my skin very easily when applying. I applied it with my fingers and got a very good all over coverage. In the first couple of days, I didnt really like the product as it felt far too dry on my skin. My skin was not feeling moisturised at all. However after a few days I got used to it and actually quite enjoyed the look and feel. A friend commented on how perfect my skin looked - well that did it for me! The product lasted all day I guess - I dont normally re-apply unless I am going out in the evening. I would however cleanse the product off before re-applying. I havent bought this product in the stores yet, but fully intend to when the tube is finished. I have looked at Countdown on line and the pricing is very competitive. Quite reasonably to say the least given its a moisturiser and foundation in one. I am not 100% sure about the packaging - like I said on day one, it was very watery when I squeezed it out of the tube. I feel you may use too much given the watery consistency. However, I was a little more careful after day one when putting an amount into my hand for application. Yes I think it did what it says, my skin does feel a little dryer from using it, it gave me a near perfection look once applied - the colour was great for my skin tone. Yes I would definitely recommend it to my friends - they will be well impressed with the price!

Tips: Squeeze it out gently as tends to come out quick as a watery consistency. I applied by putting a small amount in my hand and applying with my fingers - got a great coverage.

A handy tube to have...

So it wasn't perfect - but I did quite like it! I've previously used the 'normal' version of the Garnier BB cream but because my skin is 'combination' thought that the oil-free version might be a better fit for my skin. Apparently that's not necessarily the case. I found that the oil free version if used straight on my cleansed skin (i.e. no base moisturiser) was too drying and gave my skin a dry/flakey look on my dryer areas (cheeks mostly). However - if used over a moisturiser or as a 'topper' over the normal-skin BB cream it had a great mattifying effect. For me it was closer to a foundation than a tinted moisturiser (compared to the 'normal skin' version which I found a lighter covering and closer to a tinted moisturiser). For me personally this will be a fixture in my gym bag - but along side it's 'sister' the normal-skin version and I'll use them both when I want a more covered look. At the price it is, it's still a cheap option even when using both!

Tips: If you have combination skin I'd recommend going with the 'normal' rather than 'oil free' version if you can, otherwise make sure you moisturise under it.

awesome!

my skins usually quite oily, usually id use a moisteriser and I jst put my foundation over tht n it works fine, until now the bb cream from garnier is so good! will definitely be buying it when my trial runs out, it stays put all day I put it straight on to my face and didnt bother moisturising before hand. its easy to apply and a little bit goes a long way the only beef I have is that the colour can get a bit orange if your not carefull.

Tips: a little goes a long way use less than you think then build it up ogherwise you will look like an oompa loompa.

Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream

Welllllll.......I am known for being a bit of a BB cream addict. I have tried about 40 different ones and to be honest...this one didnt rate. For starters as soon as I opened the lid the cream poured out onto my black top ( it is not coming out anytime soon!). Then when I actually applied the cream I had different opinions- Pros: -Smooths the skin, is very soft and moisturising. -Was a great colour for my skin ( I used the light). -Stayed on all day ( with some powder over top). Cons: - Not very thick, I needed to apply a couple of layers to cover my uneven skin tone and redness. - Smells very much like chemicals. - when touching your skin afterwards, it will rub off very easily. All in all I would not repurchase this, it felt like more of a tinted moisturiser and I prefer a thicker finish.

Tips: Two applications for an even finish.

Garnier BB Oil-Free - not for me

This product went on smoothly to start with but dried really quickly, making it difficult for me to achieve my desired first even, lighter layer coverage. Dried matte as promised, but had a slightly unappealing powdery texture. I applied as lightly as I could to begin with and understandably, the coverage was not as good as I expected, However, I asked other people in my household at that time (without telling them I had applied anything) if they noticed a difference. Two women and one man - all said that whatever I had put on my face was not at all flattering, and looked very "artificial". Needless to say I did not do a second application for more coverage. I have olive skin and chose the medium shade so perhaps I should have chosen dark? The scent was ok,

Longevity - Lasted all day. Price - good in comparison to other similar products. Packaging - ok but way too 'busy' and even with my glasses I had trouble reading the small print. Results - I (and everyone else) was not happy with the look. It certainly combated my oil issues, but my skin felt overly dry. I would not recommend it.

Garnier Miracle BB Cream - Oil Free

This BB Cream was much better than I was expecting. I could replace my foundation with this cream. The coverage was pretty good, although I did find that it didn't cover blemishes on my skin as well as I was expecting. It felt very light on and wasn't greasy at all and definitely helped keep my skin oil free. I would definitely keep using this cream. It's cheaper than foundation as well and feels a lot less "cakey" on which is great.

Tips: I found applying it with my fingers didn't quite get the desired level of coverage so I applied it with a sponge and it worked prefectly. I did use powder over the top whilst at work and it stayed on for the whole day better than my foundation some times.

Hit & miss

I found this BB cream to be a little bit hit and miss.

When I first put it on I definitely noticed the difference in my skins appearance, and loved it. My skin is very fair, freckles and gets oily/shiny after a few hours of washing. I was a bit surprised by how runny and thin the cream was so I did waste a lot on the first go, it also looks a bit shiny to begin with but did matte out a little after a few minutes.

I put a powder on top and by the end of the day my skin still looked fine, no noticeable makeup wear & tear. My workplace is very humid so it was good at controlling the oil and shine.

I would use this quite often as my back up BB, but it was slightly too orange for me so I had to be careful how much I applied (I use fingers) and then ensure my powder covered it all and was blended perfectly. My dark hair helped, if I was blonde it would've been way too orange.

It had no noticeable smell which was great, and it didn't feel like a layer on your face. I would recommend this BB cream to my friends, just perhaps not the really fair skinned ones.

Tips: I tried this with and without moisturiser and for me found it stayed better with mousturiser.

garnier bb cream

Wow! Finally a product that does what it says! I loved this product it felt light on my skin and gave me good coverage, it took away my redness and hid my blemishes beautifully. I did find though that the tube leaked a little bit but only when the lid was off. I even got complimented on how good my skin looks and my mum was so impressed that she went and bought her own!

Skin perfector

I have used other BB creams and had always wanted to try this as the price point is really good compared to the high end brands. I was really pleasantly surprised, it's as good if not better than the others. My skin glowed and looked evened out and also didn't make my fringe oily like some do. It's quite a runny consistency and way to spread and I used alone instead of moisturiser. I've even worn it instead of foundation auditioning this week.

Tips: Don't push the bottle too hard or too much product will come out.
