Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Anti Ageing Review

I have been wanting to find a really nice moisturiser/tinting cream that I can use on my face that has the aging wrinkles by the eyes. This product covers all of that and is just so easy to apply. Takes a little bit for it to feel like its dry but when I run my hand over my cheeks they are dry so I don't feel like it will rub onto my clothes.

My skin feels a bit tighter and it looks like the wrinkles around my eyes don't look so prominent.

I like how it evens out the tones in my skin with the tinting.

I think the best thing is that I don't have to go out of my way to buy this product and can just buy it when I go grocery shopping which makes it so convenient.

I have tried lots of BB creams and have stuck with the more expensive products due to them performing better, but this is great and a good price. The texture is creamy and moisturising with a fresh smell. I have really dry sensitive skin, and this goes on moisturising and stays that way all day, no drying out. I am 46 so can't use any foundations that are heavy, so this is perfect and seems to give a dewy, youthful sheen. I'm impressed and will continue to buy. I am so glad I tried it as I doubt I would have bought it as lower priced BB creams have failed to live up to expectations in the past. This is a winner.

This was so easy and quick to apply which is great as I'm a busy mum. It provided the light coverage and kept that natural look that I like. Packaging is great and small enough to pop into your handbag for touch ups later in the day. I did find it irritated my eyes towards the end of the day and know that will be caused by the sunblock in it as sunblock does this to my eyes. I recommend this to anyone looking for a natural look but I would tend to go for one without the sunblock. I would buy thus again (without sunblock) and I'm getting my 13 year old her own Garnier BB cream as I feel it would be perfect for her.

I love the idea of BB cream, a potion to hydrate my skin, skim over any imperfections and yet light and comfortable to apply and wear. Top it off with SPF and I will be a happy camper. My Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream - anti ageing - arrived at just the right time. I had just finished the tube of my regular BB and was looking for something richer, designed for my 43-year-old complexion. I am just noticing fine lines and age spots these days, my skin is very fair and fine-pored with the occasional broken capillary. It is also quite dry and needs rich moisturisation morning and night. I was pleased with the look of the Garnier packaging, a simple soft squeezable tube which is small enough to fit in my makeup purse. The product dispenses easily and has a nice soft creamy texture. No discernible fragrance either, which I consider a big plus. I was a bit concerned that the colour of the product (light) was a bit dark and a bit orange but once applied it dispersed easily and blended to a nice sheer beige. At the end of the first day I felt I didnt get enough moisture from the BB alone so the next day I put my regular moisturiser on first. Much better. I found that the BB didn't crease or transfer much, but I could have done with a bit more cover. The package instructions recommended applying a second coat, on doing so the results were good. By day four, I thought I had it all figured out, but that evening I noticed my skin felt a little dry and tight. Half way through day five my face felt prickly and itchy. I washed my face as soon as I got in from work rather than leaving it till bedtime like I normally would. My skin was irritated, blotchy and with hundreds of tiny bumps under the surface. The skin beside my mouth is flaky and dry. It has been three days since I discontinued the BB and I have had gradual improvement. This doesn't seem to be a classic allergic reaction and as I have used BB from another manufacturer for over six months without any problem, I wonder if it could be a hypersensitivity to the anti-ageing component of the BB? Oh well, what looked like a fair to middling BB product has turned out not to be for me.

The original Garnier BB cream was the first one I used and I really liked it. Recently upgraded to the Smashbox one and then tried this Anti Aging Garnier one to see how it compared. I wanted to love it more than I did unfortunately.

The instructions say to use as you would a moisturiser - I prefer a really high SPF moisturiser so I applied this after my moisturiser had sunk in for 5 minutes.

The texture is creamy, it's not too thick but I did find it thicker than the original BB cream. It blends in well and gives a reasonable coverage for a BB cream. I did find it was a much more matte finish than I am used to. I did notice that my skin tone and wrinkles seemed a little less obvious for the first half of the day although I don't think this lasted all day.

I did want to love this product, I think I will keep using it for a while longer and see if there are any longer term effects from the anti-aging properties (it's hard to see the effect of these in one week).

Would be nice to see this released in a Super Light colour as the Light is almost too dark and I have pretty fair skin. It would be ok for me in summer but not in the middle of winter!

I found this to be a very nice BB cream. I found it had a pleasant scent and a very light coverage. You use an extremely small amount for the coverage given. I didn't find my crow's feet to look diminished, but am happy to purchase this again.

Having never used a BB cream before I was pleased to be selected for this trial. I found it easy to apply and initially it did a great job of evening the tone and boosting the glow of my skin as it said it would. I was really pleased with the immediate effect however I found it didn't stay evenly on my face the entire day so by mid afternoon I was looking a bit shiny and patchy in places. I followed the instructions and tried applying a second time to see if that would last longer but that left me with a bit of a pancake feeling. I didn't really notice any reduction in lines but it may need longer trialling than a week for any significant change to be noticeable. I really wanted to like it more, but for me it didn't last the distance which was disappointing. I would recommend it to others have a try though as you never know it may well work for you.

I've tried to like this product. I have. I liked the premise - a super-affordable, supermarket BB cream. But maybe I went in with my expectations too high. Okay, so pros - and there are lots of them. First, price. It's a great price. It's easy to open - I get irritated by too many security seals on a new product when I just want to rip into it! The smell is lovely. It blends easily. A little goes a long way. I'll be using this (and I WILL continue to use this product) for ages. But - cons. The texture is VERY gloopy and thick. I have squeezed too much out every time I've used it, which means product wastage. At this price it doesn't matter so much, but that's not the point. It leaves my skin a little greasy, especially on my forehead and nose. I have combination skin so maybe the anti-aging version isn't for me? But the main thing is it doesn't live up to its name! It's decent as a tinted moisturiser, but I don't rate it as a BB cream, and it's certainly not a miracle worker!

My skin is combination normal to dry. I normally wear a good coverage of foundation as I have quite rosy cheeks.

I like the product packaging as it is neat and simple. The product comes in a decent size tube, and it is easy to dispense as much product as you desire. The cream itself is a very creamy consistency, which smells really good. It applies easily to the face and neck, I found that the coverage is very light, as you would expect from a BB cream. I personally would prefer more coverage as the cream didn't hide any redness, although it did smooth the overall tone of my face to a degree. I used the product over a week. I didn't see any noticeable reduction in wrinkles in this time, although with continued use according to the package I will see more changes. The product appeared to last a good few hours. And that was without a powder to set it. It felt light on the skin and the colour suited my skin tone. The product is very reasonably priced. And is a good product in this price range. I would definitely recommend it to family and friends to try for themselves.
