Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Anti Ageing Review

So easy, so light, so flawless; that's how I describe this product. I absolutely love it. I have used all sorts of tinted moisturisers, foundations and powders over the years but this product is perfect at this stage of my life. Being in my 40's its important to keep make-up to a minimum due to lines and wrinkles and keep skin hydrated. This is perfect! A combination foundation/moisturiser that is so fluid and glides onto the skin leaving a light flawless glossy look. I found it covered my blemishes and spots easily but allows a hint of my freckles to shine through. My skin feels soft without being greasy. I look forward to using it again and again.

I didn't like the way this cream left my skinning feeling dewey but I suppose that indicates moisture. It spread on quite easily but was quite thick.

Smell was pleasant but didn't really see any effect on reducing the appearance of wrinkles. I had to persevere to continue to test this over 5 days as I really preferred to go back to a moisturiser (with SPF) plus mousse foundation. A much nicer feel and colour. This BB cream has quite an orange base which didn't really suit me either.

Not a fan of this BB cream really but was nice to try something new.

Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream - Anti Ageing is a real pleasure to use. It has a lovely fresh fragrance and a consistency that is thick but not heavy. It glides on beautifully and the results are instant - a fresh glow that brightens tired looking skin and gives a youthful look.

Although I have skin that tends to be dry, I would be confident using this without any additional moisturiser, making this product an excellent multi-tasker. But don't be put off if your skin is more normal to oily - there was no greasy t-zone in sight, even 12 hours after application!

If you're after a foundation substitute, however, this isn't the product for you. The coverage is very sheer and I wouldn't claim it to be long-wearing. On discovering this I tried it as a foundation base and it works very effectively in the way that a primer would, adding a slight luminescence and allowing the foundation to glide over smoothly thereby requiring less product. Due to the tint, it even added a little more depth of coverage to a light/medium-weight foundation.

Overall I would say this product is good value for money, depending on what you're looking for in a BB cream. It will almost certainly make a worthwhile addition to your beauty kit.

I was really excited to try this product, as a busy mum who is used to wearing a full face of makeup everyday I was looking for something quick and easy to make me feel more confident going without makeup. The first thing I noticed about this product is that it was a lot thicker and more pigmented then I expected it to be. It felt very greasy and heavy on my skin. This feeling lasted about an hour, I would touch my face and my fingers would come away very oily. After that it seemed to be absorbed by my skin more but I still felt like I needed to "remove" it at the end of the day with makeup wipes. On the other hand though it definitely gave my skin a really nice glow and was a lot healthier looking then if I had not been wearing anything. I used the medium colour and it was perfect for my olive skin. I believe that this product would be suited to drier skin types who would like to give their skin some much needed moisture while also giving them a bit of colour and glow.

Loved using this product - had used the other over summer - not the anti aging - and although I liked this the anti aging is definitely better for my skin. Easy to apply and have worn without touch up each day to work. Still looks good at the end of the day! Have checked price at the supermarket and will definitely buy again - real good value for money.

I use foundation on a daily basis and was pleasantly surprised how well this cream works. It covers minor marks, goes on easy, leaves no make-up lines. No need to use additional moisturiser(I did one day, it was too much). The colour worked well with my skin tone. It will go in my make-up bag next week on holiday!!

I’ve been a long time user of BB Cream so I was keen for an opportunity to try something outside my usual brand of choice. RRP on this product $17.49 which is around same price I usually pay. Packaging is fairly plain and to be honest reminds me of fake tan packaging. What struck me upon opening and using the cream was the fragrance. It smelled like fake tan, not entirely pleasant. The consistency of the cream a little watery, not as creamy as I would prefer. for a medium tint given this is my usual choice for BB cream foundation etc., however this made me look decidedly sun tanned, slightly on the orangey shade. I used around a small pea size dollop and applied with fingertips. I wouldn’t have worn it on its own as it wasn’t a great coverage. I applied foundation over the top. My skin still looked a little too tanned. Maybe I would get away with this in summer but in winter I just looked a little bright. I didn’t notice any significant difference or improvement in my skin. I am not sure how long I would need to use this to see the result of the claim on the pack - “Miracle Skin Perfector” I’d be unlikely to recommend this as I do prefer my usual BB cream of choice.

I've used a few different BB creams since they came on the market and I do have a favourite after trying a few of the major brands. I have normal skin (I think haha). This one is thinker in consistency than Garniers normal skin option. You do get some good coverage and for me it does last a full day at work. I don't use with moisturiser as I think it gets too greasy. Easy to use as it goes on like moisturiser and you don't need much to get the coverage. I like that it's got SPF 15 and it does have that dewy look. I think it may disguise some fine, fine, fine lines however I don't think this is the best BB I have used. It would be nice to know a bit more about any long term benefits. I'd potentially use this again but it's not the top of my list at the moment.

I really like the consistency - it applies just like liquid foundation. It was thicker than I was expecting & also very dark for "light". It also left my skin shiny which was disappointing in winter. Made my skin feel great but wished it was a lighter shade.

Thank you BR for giving me to opportunity to check out this awesome product. Firstly the packaging was very similar to the other Garnier ranges but still quite nice - simple. The texture is quite thick and I was worried the colour was honing to be off but was pleasantly surprised. I really liked the natural look it gave me when I wore it on its own, it evened out my skin tone and looked very natural. It was very easy to apply with finger tips and coverage was good - a little went a long way. It also last well in my opinion - usually when I leave home in the morning with make up on its gone by the time I get home in the evening, I found this still looked fresh(ish) better than I usually look at the end of the day! Lol
