Yves Saint Laurent Cinema

My first experience with Cinema was when a shop assistant sprayed this on a paper strip. I don't find this to be a good way to test a perfume, and I was put off Cinema because of this.

I eventually did a blind buy on the EDP when I found it on sale. I am glad I did.

I find Cinema to be an incredibly wearable; sweet; winter type of scent. The note that stands out the most to me is the vanilla (one person told me the smell of my perfume was making her hungry!)

The bottle is very luxe looking with the gold patterns.

The lasting power is approx 5 hours and the silliage is moderate.

If Cinema was a movie, it would be a mainstream flick: aimed at a mass audience; not controversial; familiar but different at the same time.

This is one of my signature scents. I discovered this perfume at the age of 16 and have loved it ever since, and will always replenish once i have run out. This is such a long lasting perfume, and its one of those perfumes where the scent stays on your clothes even after being washed. The packaging is classy and beautiful. Its a very sexy scent, and attracts plenty of compliments. Love wearing this on nights out as its a very feminine and sophisticated scent, however it can also can be worn for day wear :)

I found this perfume in my experience to be a great scent for the day time during work.hours as it wasnt over powering. I personally found it just the right balance of floral not over powering.

In my top three favourite fragrances, this one is glamourous, delicious and it lasts all day. It's a stronger perfume, but one that I always get compliments on. My only concern is that it is getting harder to find different sizes, my local stockist only has one size available. I'd love to be able to readily purchase a body cream for this too.

I love this perfume, just finished my bottle of it actually and am missing it already ! I first caught a whiff of it on a co-worker many years ago. When she told me the name I hunted for it for a long time until I finally bought it last year. It's one of those rare perfumes that can be worn at any time of day. Morning, afternoon and evening. It's a very 'grown up' scent and when I first smelt it the word that struck me was 'sophisticated'. It's sensual, sexy and feminine in a slightly exotic way. I love it!

This is one of my favourites. Love the lasting smell and people often ask what fragrance I'm wearing when I have this on.

Mmmm ...absolutely love this classy, sexy, powerful woman scent! Lasts all day and I have received so many comments when wearing it .. it must be great as I was first given this perfume for being a contestant in the Miss NZ years ago. SO glad this is in my life.
