I was given this product as a present and so decided to use up an older product and then try it out. I couldn't wait so had a wee squirt with it one morning before work. Couldn't believe how many people commented on how 'nice I smelt'. I was thrilled as I work with them daily and the fact that I as wearing a new perfume was not mentioned. I have since used it daily and love it. No skin irritations and I am loving the fact that it lasts all day. The container is easy to hold, looks great on my shelf and so I am very happy.

An incarnation of ultimate feminity. Bathed in a more intense light, the Edu de parfum bottle takes on an amber hue, Gold is subtly applied on the bottle in refined strokes.

What a find!
Tips: I would like to be able to purchase this product in Northland as the Farmers in Albany is the closest to do so.I order online often but not generally perfumes......

Intense!
One word that comes out of your mouth after you smell this fragrance is: 'Amazing!' It is a rich, sweet and extremely chic fragrance. I love the blend of orange blossom, honey and patchouli which makes this fragrance very sweet, musky with a hint of spice. The top note is orange blossom which you can sniff immediately after applying it. I can also immediately smell the honey note as well. After some time, you start to smell a little bit of rose note as well (which is one of the middle note) and its combination with orange blossom and honey is just perfect. The honey note is quite predominant in this fragrance. The base notes include amber and patchouli. Elie Saab is serious when it says 'Intense'. This perfume has huge silage. I make sure that I spray this perfume not more than once in the day and 2 sprays are enough. Longevity is incredible (12 hours plus). I have the 90 ml bottle and the bottle is one of the cutest packaging of perfumes I have ever seen. It is an old world type crystal bottle. It is a lovely creation and one of my favorite right now!
Tips: Don't over spray as it is a very strong perfume and 2 sprays are more than enough.

A modern classic
This is my new favourite and my pricey splurge going through duty free last month!
This flanker has the wonderful patchouli/floral/honeyed base of the original Le Parfum but is a completely different scent as it is bulked up with more honey/beeswaxy notes (a very natural sweetness), and what smells to my nose an expensive rose-sandalwood incense and every so often I catch a whiff of Nag Champa in there but it is not overbearingly incensey or reminiscent of a hippie shop whatsoever. This is a powdery blend of honey-rose gorgeousness which will never date.
This fragrance is a rarity for that every note it is composed of is a note I love, I have never owned a fragrance and loved every note, usually there's one or two I could not place or don't quite belong and might put me off a purchase but they aren't really noticeable. This one I could have bought blindly right off the shelf without even sniffing.
The bottle is also gorgeous. Totally worth the splurge. Out of the Elie Saab fragrances this is the one to get if you love powdery floral orientals and honey scents!
Tips: Super strong 2 sprays max!

There is something very luxurious about the scent of Elie Saab Intense. Base notes of amber and patchouli help to create a rich and sensual fragrance, while the lighter, sweeter scents of rose honey, ylang ylang, and orange blossom balance things out beautifully. I find this perfume lasts well all day - it is initially quite strong (which I love!) so you only need a couple of sprays. The design of the bottle is simple but elegant. It looks good on display and is easy to throw in your luggage for travel. I love this scent & will definitely repurchase.
