Living Light Soy Travel Tin Review

I loved receiving a candle in the NZ best beauty box ever, i didn't expect it so it was a great surprise! I am a huge fan of candles and they have to have a strong smell of which this one does. The smells goes all the way round my living room when i have it burning and its last a long time which is good, i wasn't sure how much burning time it would have. i reckon i still have a few hours out of it. Price wise, i think its a bit out of my range so a small candle but ill look out for it on special :)

I received a Pohutukawa Living Light Soy Candle. This is one of the nicest smelling candles I have ever used. I am really into my soy candles and essential oils. This ticked all the boxes for me. It smells beautiful, it is made of natural ingredients, it doesn't release harmful chemicals while burning, it is made in NZ and it comes in lovely packaging.

I got the lavender candle as part of the Best Beauty Box ever and found it very handy for my kitchen. I love the size and the fragrance was nice and strong for me. I also loved how I can just put the lid on the candle to put it out instead of blowing out the candle.

I received this candle in the scent, Pohutakawa as part of the New Zealand beauty box. I had never heard of this New Zealand brand before so I enjoyed using it. The candle smelt amazing and was not to overpowering so would be suitable for everyday use. It is a reasonably small size candle for the price and I didn't get the 20hour burn time as stated however for a treat I would repurchase it.

I really liked this candle. The tins is cute and for someone who fears fire, putting it in a tin is smart. I feel confident putting it nearly anywhere and no risk of dripping wax. The smell is lovely - before lighting it the smell kind of reminded me of bananas - but in a pleasant way. The candle is easy to light, a good wick, not covered in wax - yah! the smell when lit is really nice too. I'm not a big candle user, but I am really enjoying lighting this while I do my makeup each morning.

i can see me using it in the bathroom when relaxing in a bath too. And the size of it and handy lid means that travelling with this baby is simple and safe.

This was a new product to me and I really love the concept of a wee scented candle you can take away with you while travelling. It is attractively presented Compact no mess tin. I had the Revive scent in my NZ Brands Beauty Box and I just want to keep on sniffing it despite it having some citrus that I normally don't like! The scent is still strong weeks later after some use. The only downside is it is expensive for it's size.

I was so excited that the BBBE included in their NZ brand box. It smells gorgeous even when it is not lit but it smells even better when lit up. You just need to remove the lid and you can smell the beautiful aroma in the room. The scent just freshens the room and uplifts my mood.

The candle comes in a metal tin with a lid. I love the packaging! The scent is so gentle and lovely, not overpowering. I am very sensitive to different scents, there are some scents that can be too strong for me, can cause me having a headache.

The candle claims to last for 18 hours. It does last for ages and I am still burning it at night for a while before bed. The retail price for the small one is $18.00 is totally worth it. Nothing makes a home seem more romantic, cosy, or sophisticated than having beautiful scented soy candle.

Overall, it is a brilliant soy candle, I enjoy it so much! I would definitely repurchase and would recommend this to everyone.

I received the "Kitchen" candle in the NZ Brands beauty box, such a lovely surprise! I hadn't heard of Living Light beforehand.

First of all I love the packaging, it's different to your typical glass candle packaging and it's a decent size. The labelling is simple and adds a simple nice touch to your decor.

The scent is really good, when opening the lid you're hit with a lovely smell which is quite perfect for getting rid of unwanted smells in the kitchen which is what I have been using it for. While it is lit, it gives off the smell a little bit more & filled the room nicely...bearing in mind my kitchen is quite small.

I love using this candle for home use. To be honest, I wouldn't personally use this for travelling unless I knew I wasn't going to be lighting it a lot. The whole candle turns to liquid after being lit for about 10-20mins which 1: makes the tin a little hot to touch, and 2.I wouldnt trust that the liquid would not tip out of the tin. If you werent going to light it up much then it would be nice to travel with..just take the lid off and let the scent of the wax fill your room. Another little thing I found a little bit annoying...it takes longer to light second time around then even longer 3rd time around...the wick seems to turn into a black clump and doesnt light very easily.

I received this as part of the NZ Brands Beauty Box. I have to admit I am not one for burning scented candles, I prefer incense.

The scent I received was Pohutukawa. Upon opening the cute little tin, with pink patterning, I could small the scent immediately. It is a sweet, subtle scent, and is not overpowering. It reminded me of pomegranate, which I like.

The candle burnt well, although the wick was a little short which made it a bit tricky to light. The flame was slow and steady, and there was plenty of candle left after an hour. The tin was warm, but certainly not too hot to handle while the candle was burning.

I've loved burning this candle, the packaging is so cute. It is a small candle in a cute tin. I have this in the scent pohutakawa, it smells very christmasy and spicy. I have this burning for a couple of hours at a time, as I find that is all I need for the scent to waft through our living area. I think it is a nice treat to use, but I am used to purchasing larger candles, which work out to be a bit more economical.
