essano Body Lotion

I really like this body lotion it's natural and despite having a pretty rose, woody, spicy sort of scent it doesn't irritate my skin. It also doesn't smell like something your nanna would use. For a natural body lotion and the size of the bottle it seems to be a reasonable price. I wasn't sure if this would be hydrating and moisturizing enough for winter since often have to switch to either body oil or body butter at night during the winter otherwise my skin gets too dry and itchy. But I have been using this at night sometimes when I ran low on body butter. The only reason why I haven't given this product more smooches is because like a lot of the Essano products the pumps are faulty mine nearly broke off when I struggled a bit to get it unlocked the first time. I think if the company fixed their pumps I would probably buy their products more often. The other downside is I've been using this body lotion less than seven times and somehow I've used up a quarter of the bottle which is unusually fast for a body lotion and big bottle at that to get used up. Despite that I'm leaning more toward repurchasing this than not.

The delicous scent and creamy consistency is lovely on the skin. I use this daily after a shower and love everything about it. No nasty chemicals, it’s a great affordable price and a good size bottle, it dosnt leave you feeling like you have a yucky film on your skin it absorbs in nicely and moisturises really well. Love how it’s available in the supermarket so just buyit with the shopping.

Like the facial wash.. it comes in a nice cute pink pump bottle. The initial sweet scent for some reason reminded me of prunes? Or haw fruit? It took me a while to get use to this unique scent.. so i tend to use it just before bed.

It had a little sticky feeling at first when applied.. but was fairly quickly absorbed by the skin.. which makes it a nice thin moisturiser for those who’s looking for something nutritious for their skin but on the lighter end. So if you’re looking for something richer for dry skin, this product may not be for you.

I personally prefer a more smoothing body lotion.. so it wasn’t quite my cup of tea. However, it could be a great summer moisturiser.. when it’s so hot that you don’t want to put something too thick on your skin.

This body lotion comes in a dark bottle with a pump. It promises to be intensively hydrating so I bought it because my skin was feeling really dry after a cold winter. My initial thoughts when I first applied it were that it has a very very strong smell. It's a musky sort of scent that I'm not that fond of and reminded me of an old lady's bathroom! I persevered though, because I'm not into waste! I found that the lotion definitely did what it said it would - it was hydrating and left my dry skin feeling really much more soft and supple. It wasn't too thick to apply and absorbed quickly so I could jump into bed or get dressed quite soon after applying it.

I probably won't buy this one again, solely because of the scent. If you are a fan of this type of scent then I would recommend.

Smells great and works as a moisturiser, though I didn't find it to be any kind of miracle. It goes quite far so it lasted ages, 1 pump did most of my body. Would buy again :)

This is one of my favourite body lotions! I absolutely love the smell and it is so hydrating and my skin feel amazing every time I use it. It lasts for ages as you don’t need a lot. It reminds me of being in our favourite place, Rarotonga. It is very well priced and I would highly recommend trying it. I’ve had so many compliments on smelling lovely and it’s often when I’m wearing this!

I have a range of Essano products that have paraded across my vanity. I just love that they're natural and NZ made.

The Intensive Hydrating Body Lotion is good a hydrating the skin and leaving it feel more soft and smooth. I particularly use it after washing my hands to stop them from drying out and on my legs after shaving.

This comes in a dark pump bottle with their signature pink label. It's not the most glam bottle in the world and I'm getting a bit bored of the rosehip scent. But you get more product for the price than a lot of other brands would offer that are in the natural and NZ made.

Next time I would probably try something new, but this is a great staple.

Used this after my bath tonight. Mainly use it on my hands. I get sore hands after being in water and this stuff adds the moisture back into my hands quickly and stops the discomfort.

Unique sweet smell to it is divine. I got mine from a give away at new world so I’m not sure about value for money. But I will be looking to re purchase.
