e.l.f Brow Kit Review

I have the lightest kit and I found that the gel colour had a slight orangey kind of tint to it, which isn't my preference but I can see how if you have darker eyebrows this kit could be really effective, The brows also have really good staying power I still use the powder sometimes to set my eyebrows even if I don't use the gel. It is a very reasonable price, and the brush it comes with is perfect, I still use it with my other brow products. It is also very compact and perfect for travelling or keeping in your handbag for touch ups, I just wish the colour matched my eyebrows!

My opinion on e.l.f Brow Kits differ greatly compared to the other reviews on the most part because it doesn't stay on and leaves me with horrendously thin and patchy eyebrows whilst in the middle of town. I purchased this in the Medium Brown and found that the colour matched my hair colour and skin tone perfectly and once I had watched some tutorials gave it a whirl.

It was easy to use once I got the hang of it and filled my eyebrows in perfectly but the huge downfall was that it doesn't last all day! The brush that it comes with it a dud and should not even be in the same packaging because it downgrades the quality instantly. The brush was hard to use and the bristles are far too soft to get a nice sharp edge so it a waste of time using.

I find that it lasts for a long time because you don't need alot on the brush to achieve maximum results. The annoying thing besides it not lasting for long is that I had to purchase a separate eyebrow brush so that I could use it correctly when I could have paid the same amount for one product that would have worked and come with a good brush.

In summary the e.l.f Brow Kits is cheap but low quality and mediocre at best.

I bought this on iherb because I had seen so many YouTubers rave about it, i do like it and think it has a good variety to choose from when buying but here in ireland there are other drugstore brands that do things like this for about the same proce that work and stay on better. I wouldn't repurchase this

ELF in itself is a great low end brand. This brow kit is something I started using when I first got into makeup and I think it's great for just that. It does the job however I found that it wears off quickly so this product is only something I would use if I didn't have anything else on hand.

I have tried this product a few times now in hopes of loving it as many others do but I just cannot! It is a great product and easy to work with, but I find that it wears off quickly and the powder provided just doesn't suit and is quite chalky! It's perfect for beginners though!

I got this eyebrow kit after watching shaaanxo and many other beauty gurus rave about how good it was. I've been using mine for a few weeks now and am still on the fence about it. I don't use the powder side as I find it is too light for my eyebrows. I love the wax as it is highly pigmented and glides on smoothly,as well as covers my eyebrows evenly. I do recommend using a setting gel beforehand, because if you use a setting gel afterwards it tends to smudge or lighten the product..then you end up having to reapply! This product doesn't last long, and I find by the end of the day I am re applying. It is good that the package is small and sturdy so u can pop it into your bag for touch ups. This is very affordable, so it is worth trying out.

I had high expectations going in considering almost every loves this product, but sadly i was dissapointed ): I was on the hunt for a great brow set but this didnt do the job. I have very little eyebrow hair so the most important thing to me when looking for a brow kit is high pigmentation and long lasting staying power. I find the wax super light and i have to sit there for forever filling it in to get a good colour buildup. This is however easily fixed by using a dark powder ontop (but this beats the purpose of having just the compact kit). I also never touch the powder side because its so so so light. (I got medium). I would use this on days where i dont want super bold brows (hardly ever) but even for the cheap price, i would never re purchase it ):

When Shannon Harris used this product in a makeup video a while ago I went to the store to go buy it and was disappointed. The brush the with the product wasn't good at all so I tired my own one with little difference. I found that the powder barley stuck to the gel and would come off easily. Since everyone is talking about how great it is I'm tempted to try it again.

I had heard so much about the e.l.f brow kit I had hoped it would live up to it, but it really didn't. I found the power too, for a lack of a better word, powdery. It went everywhere with out really doing much.

The wax side is the better of the two, however, I find I couldn't create the shape I like using this alone.

I still use the wax when I'm going for a 'no makeup' look so it is not a waste of money, particularly as it is very well priced.

It just didn't live up to the hype for me.

I had high hopes for this brow kit, but its definitely not my favourite brow product - which is super surprising, because I think I'm the only one who doesn't love it! The colour looked too warm on me. The powder side was ok, but not as pigmented as others I have used, and I didn't like the wax at all - again I didn't like the colour and I didn't like the consistency. Its not necessarily a bad brow kit, but there are much better products out there - but not for this price.

I also didn't like the little brush applicator it came with so I would definitely recommend using a different brush with it!
