I tried this as a means to give me that warm glow. Being very pale means that the sun and I are not the best of friends so thought I would give this one a go. One of my work colleaques used this brand and she looked fantastic. So I gave it a go, followed instructions and ended up looking like I had eaten something that had upset my stomach and then I was caught short. I think there are still some of us where even the lightest of buildup of colour is too strong. So unfortunately I will not be using it again except maybe on my arms.

Well I love the colour it leaves when I use this product on my legs it always seems to go to dark and splotchy on my ankles and knees :( I have tried multiple time and each time I get the same result. Not sure if is the way I apply or the actual product but this experience is enough to put me off
This product has good points and bad. On the good side it does give you an almost natural gradual tan, is easy to apply and a good moisturiser. I do like the way it builds up slowly so you can be as light or dark as you want. On the down side it has a slightly strong smell after a while and takes a while to dry before you can put on clothes. But overall I do like the final result, like any tanner you do need to be careful though to get a nice even natural look.
Tips: Wash hands well after applying and don't apply to really dry skin as it can soak in unevenly.
This product is ok, the smell is really strong even once dried reminds me old spice with cream. It does leave a golden glow but not instantly so i recommend using it at least a week before you want to shine. Dove tanning lotion does need to be applied evenly or you can have different coloured patches on the skin and don't forget to wash your hands as it does eventually stain. It has a thick creamy texture and the bottle is well designed to hold
I enjoy using this in summer - it's cheap and easy to apply (basically mistake proof) and gives a nice tanned look. The colour is quite natural on me (a pale olive person) and it does not take too long to sink in.
I normally only ever bother to put this on my legs and I'm not too fussed with daily application.
Tips: Be careful of any dry patches! Moisturise them before application.
Sometimes when using this product its great and I look really nice and other I turn really orange! I use the same method and amount everytime so don't understand why this happens. Aside from that its a good product and smells AMAZING
Tips: Moisturise knees and feel first if you are tanning your legs. I learnt that the hard way :P
I'm someone who has fairly pale skin and a keen eye for anything orange. With my skin tone it didn't turn out as 'brown' as i would have hoped but it left my legs feeling really supple and hydrated (this is coming from one who deals with extremely dry legs 24/7!)
Tips: id recommend this to anyone with a naturally more tan complexion who is just wanting that hint of sun!
I buy this product regularly mainly as its fairly cheap and I can but a big bottle and it will last a while. Unfortunately it has that tell-tale fake tan smell... It does provide a golden glow, and is fairly streak free.
I like the natural glow this lotion gives to my skin. It's not orange or streaky, it's not glittery or shimmery, it doesn't collect around my knees or elbows, and it fades naturally without looking splotchy or uneven. I also like the fact it's a moisturiser too - I think my dry skin would experience patchiness with a true self-tanner, but no problems with this.
I do have a few issues with this product, though. Firstly, the smell. I find it really gross! It's very 'biscuit-y' in scent. Secondly, it doesn't really soak into my skin very well, and it being a tanning product, I'm always afraid I'm going to stain clothing or towels or bedsheets or furniture. It hasn't happened yet but perhaps that's because I'm careful?
Tips: Make sure to wash your hands immediately after applying!
I get the best results when I let this set on my skin for as long as possible (12-24 hours). When I shower next, I gently wash all over with a loofah just to get all of the stickiness and residue off. It leaves me with a natural glow!
It's okay. There are better self tanners/ moisturizers out there though. It's good value for it's price but i'd rather pay a bit more for something better. I personally like the St Moriz self tanner mousse, it's easy to use and doesn't leave you looking blotchy and orange, it's build-able and goes more bronze than orange based. Using this product constantly for a week or so doesn't leave a nice even tan, but it's better than being pasty white in my opinion.
