Dove Intensive Repair Treatment Mask

This mask comes in a nice rounded triangle shape white plastic pottle with a screw top lid. This is mask is thick velvety and white, it's so divine to touch I just want to squish it and the scent is light and fresh the usual dove fragrance. This mask just slips nicely over my hair and is nice to scrunch in and work it through into the ends I can feel my hair start to relax as soon as I apply this mask. I leave it for a while to let it do its work. This is very easy to rinse out of my hair and I have no residue left. I've used this once a week and felt I was left with silkier softer hair that felt and looked healthy. I have reasonably long hair and found that the size of a walnut was all I need to get the results I was after. Using this mask once a week it lasted for around three months. This does contain silicones and parabens and I did feel like I was getting a build up of product using it and if I used I to much my hair did get greasy. But for a mask that does melt into my hair and give it softness this for the price is a good buy.

I have thick hair that dries out super quickly, but I found using the mask really works. I probably use a bit more than I should but my hair ends up super soft and silky and slowly returns to it's normal wiry dry mess between washing, instead of the next day.

Only problem I've got is trying to find where to buy more!

I have long, thick, frizz prone, and bleached hair that can use all the repair treatments it can get. I've tried numerous brands but this one is honestly my favourite. It creates a noticeable difference in the appearance and feel of my hair, leaving it softer and shinier looking. If you're looking for a new treatment mask I definitely recommend you try this one!

I purchased this last week at my local uncle bills for less than $3 and have been trialing it out this past week

I have used this 3 times now but have found it does nothing out of the normal for me. I have dry hair and brought this as it says on the back "nourishes and repairs hair" after using this my hair feels the same, almost as if iv just used my daily conditioner.

The smell is nice, the consistency is just right, and the packaging is simple but effective but they are the only good things i have to say about this product

I wouldn't recommend this if you have dry or damaged hair as it does nothing for you, but as a cheapy conditioner it would be okay

100 % highly reccommend, Dove hair products have always done me justice and I absolutely love what they do to my hair. My hair is almost below my hips and is quite thick and tends to get quite dry! I use aloooot of conditioner and this helps reduce the amount of conditioner i use and definately repairs mosturises and makes my hair smell amazing

I really like this mask - it has a thick texture but it still feels light. I smooth it through the ends and mid lengths of my hair, then run the remainder of the product over my roots. I leave it on while I wash my face and body, then rinse it out and finish with a blast of cold water. It makes my hair feel softer and smoother and if nothing else is a nice in-shower treatment.

My hair is very thick, long and porous.. and I go through a LOT of conditioner. The product is slightly better than their standard conditioner, which is what I pretty much expected. I didn't get a lot of uses out out the container, as I need to use a lot each time. Definitely softer and silkier, but nothing to rave about.

I must admit I haven't looked after my hair lately and for this I am suffering so I went I search for something to repair the damage. I more often than not use supermarket products so this was perfect for me. I also believe often you can find something just as good at the supermarket. The product itself works well, and I found my hair seemed a little less dry looking after I used it and it didn't weigh my hair down. I did find it a but awkward to use in the shower but not really a big deal. I would definitely use this again.

When I was blonde I used hair masks 2 times a week as my hair was so fried. I got this mask in a sample when I joined the gym and after one use I loved it, my hair was just...wow. I went ahead and bought it and it softened my hair amazingly and it felt more hydrated without any product added to my hair(I used to use ALOT) but I also felt my hair would get greasy the 2nd day after using it which was a pain in the butt. Very well worth it if you have dry,damaged,porous hair

The intensive conditioning is great to use about twice a month when your hair needs some love and some extra conditioning.

After shampooing, I would use the mask instead of conditioner and I leave it in my hair for about 5 minutes or as an overnight treatment, depending on how dry my hair is.

I suffer from dry, coarse hair when not looked after properly, so richness creaminess and silky touch is always important to me for both shampoos and conditioners. Dove mask ticks all these boxes for me, so my hair really appreciates the quality of the product.

The smell is amazing and the softness, shine and silkiness of my hair is really to die for.

I wouldnt recommend using this often (everytime you wash your hair) as it tends to make your hair oily with over use. When I got it I used it at every wash but my hair was not reaping the benefits. Its really what it is, a REPAIR mask and not a maintenance mask, so it should really only be used to rescue your dry hair.

I recommend this to my friends because the affordable price and the quality of the mask cant be missed out on.
