new fav

I got this about a month ago now and so far its my fav foundation ever! No kidding it applies flawlessly to my skin and continues to look flawless throughout the day. The color I matched myself too was pinky toned and is a perfect match you dont usually see too many pinky toned foundations about.

flawless finish!

I never really liked foundation when i was younger, it always looked bad on me, mostly because i never chose the right shades, and also because i never knew how to apply it properly.

moisture mist was my first real foundation, from then i moved on to other forms of cake foundation, to cream, then to powder, and eventually on to bb cream.

I loved bb cream and still use it today but i needed something more, and something without a flash back. So the search for the perfect foundation continued.

I asked around on a fb group and alot of girls suggested this. as soon as i recieved it i fell head over heels in love.

I apply this using a flat top kabuki, but also love the finish a beauty blender achieves. This foundation covers my rosacea and freckles but still looks like skin!

Coverage: Light to medium coverage, is buildable with a beauty blender, but wouldnt reccomend trying to build with a brush as it moves the first layer.

Consistency: Semi-thick and liquidy, when applied has a refreshing feel on your face and the most pleasant smell ever.

Finish: Semi-dewy. Has a wet look finish but does settle to look more matte, but radiant. Would recommend setting with translucent powder for a more subtle glow.

Blend ability : I find this foundation extremely easy to blend on the first layer, but if i have applied any more than that, it is such a wet product that it moves the bottom layer and this tends to bunch the product when you are blending. Im not sure this makes sense..... lol

Oxidization: I have been using this foundation for about a year and i have never experienced any oxidization but it does tend to fade in oily areas and can crease a tiny bit in areas around the nose and eyes. Also even with the added scent, this foundation does eventually get that damp foundation smell towards the end of the day but it is very long lasting, especially when set with a powder

My holy grail foundation!

I am so in love with this foundation. I use the colour soft beige 200 and its the perfect colour for me. It always leaves a flawless finish and works perfect for the "powder before foundation" technique thats going around. It leaves a dewy finish that looks so natural and has a medium coverage that is buildable to full coverage without looking cakey. I apply this with a flat top kabuki brush and it goes on so smoothly and you dont have to use a lot of product to get the coverage you want. Another great thing about this foundation is that it doesnt budge all day. I can go to the gym and it wont have moved from my face. Such a nice product to use and so afforable. Love it!

Great Foundation!

The Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation is one of my all time favourite drugstore foundations, I would even go as far as saying If I was given this without a label and I was told it was a high end foundation, I would believe them! It is so affordable (less than $20 on ASOS) And it has an amazing flawless finish!

This foundation has little to no scent at all, it is quite a runny/thin consistency but I don't find it hard to work with!

The coverage I would say, is medium but buildable, the finish is between dewy and matte, So it will looks great on any skin type! I personally have dry/sensitive skin and I have never had any problems with using this foundation!

The packaging is super sturdy, it has a pump which is always great! You can then control how much product you are using without wasting any.

I wear this foundation 10+ hours a day, I wear it to work, I don't touch up throughout the day and I don't use a powder and it still looks flawless when I go to remove my makeup at the end of the night.

Like I said above I think this foundation would suit any skin type.

The only downside I would say about this foundation is I have noticed there isn't a huge variety of shades and the colours can be a bit off as I am generally always in the shade Sand Beige, but the equivalent of that in the Rimmel is about 3 shades too dark for me, so just check on findation.com or somewhere if you are buying online :)

Luuuuuuuv it

Everyone talked about this foundation, I was running out of my normal one so thought why not. I went into farmers and saw the price was around $21. Happy that I gave it a think and that night I went on ASOS only to find it there for $11 aaaand I had a discount code so altogether it came to 10. tried it and suited my skin colour perfectly, I guessed after using findation.com and was so my skin colour! I got true ivory and blends super easy. has really good coverage and doesnt look too cakey, though tends to go yuck around my nose but thats with every foundation for me :( love the price, love the foundation. definitely a fave and an everyday foundation I can wear either light coverage or can build it up :)

Tips: I use a round top kabuki brush and buff it in, otherwise I find it begins to look cakey after a few hours. Ive heard using a beauty blender to blend it in gives an amazing finish so am yet to try that :)

Awesome foundation

Really good foundation. I found it easy to apply and the formula was not at all cakey or thick. It leaves you're skin looking quite dewy looking, so if you have oily skin you may need to powder over it. Blends really well too. I like how it comes in a bottle with a pump! Super handy, and is really affordable. I'd say this foundation has light to medium coverage, depending on how much you build it up.

Brilliant

I really like this foundation. The main reason I love it is because it matches my skin tone so well. I have extremely fair, cool toned skin and I found that 010 Light Porcelain works great. I love the pump bottle. One pump of product covers my face perfectly. It covers redness, and purple under eyes very well (things that very fair skinned people commonly deal with). The texture is great for oily skin! I find that I don't need to reapply powder during the day at all! And that is a first. It also smells really nice.

Tips: Wear primer underneath your foundation for longevity and to protect your skin.

Holy Grail foundation

This is the best foundation that I have tried that is in the $20 price range. I have quite fair skin and I am amazed to finally find a good cheap foundation that actually matches my skin perfectly (I'm in the shade Fair Ivory). I also have quite a bit of redness so it gives a decent medium coverage on its own. It also gives me such a lovely finish. I have purchased this foundation 3 times and you only need 2-3 pumps

Tips: Best applied with a flat top kabuki and goes perfectly with a light dusting of the Australis fresh and flawless powder

Its the perfect match

Foundation is the one makeup item my skin cannot do without and my face literally drinks foundation because I use tonnes of it on a daily basis. One bottle lasts me about a month (sometimes less) because I wear foundation every single day to cover my horrid acne.

I've to apply layers of foundation (yes my skin is really bad so pick up your jaw) to get full coverage, so therefore buying a pricey high end foundation is just not meeting my needs.

I picked up Rimmel for $20 in soft beige after reading the great reviews and thought I need to give this a go. I'm really not disappointed I decided to try this foundation because I only have good things to rave about!

I apply moisturiser, primer and then the foundation and I find this foundation doesnt run away from the primer as some I have would do. I apply the first layer of foundation with my finger tips and work it vigorously around my acne, especially concentrating on the dents in my face and the darkest, most obvious scarring. The second layer I apply to my whole face using my finger tips again and would still concentrate on covering my acne. I find this foundation works amazing at blending layers into each other and there are no patchy areas around your face. For the last layer (its a very thin layer dont worry) I'll squirt one pump onto the back of my hand of using my foundation brush and lightly brush in all the work I had done with the previous layers to give my face a flawless (well as flawless as acne can be) look.

I know 3 layers sounds horrific but it is very achievable with this foundation and havent been able to do this with any other, for which I am eternally happy.

I finish my face with some pressed just dusted slightly on my T-zone and my foundation lasts the entire day! Coming home at night I have to use so much remover to get it off because it just stays put on my face which suits me perfectly.

This foundation doesnt make me shiny during the day and the best part is that it is not making my acne worse so I would definitely recommend this foundation to girls with severe acne or acne prone skin.

The quality of the foundation definitely doesnt match the price as I would expect to pay abit for a foundation that has this many benefits for my skin. I have to keep switching my foundation to avoid acne but this foundation will be on the rotation list and always make its way back into my makeup collection.

Tips: Definitely give this foundation a try if you have acne because my acne hasnt been getting worse since using this foundation.

Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation

I really like this foundation. It has good packaging, it is in a glass bottle with a pump which is great. It has a nice smell to it, I would say that the coverage is light to medium and it doesn't feel or look cakey on your skin. It gives a nice dewy looking finish once applied and you can put a powder over top to set it and this will give it a matte finish. This foundation is really reasonably priced and I will definitely be repurchasing it.
