Revlon didn't quite nail it here. Strange consistency, it says oil free but seems to feel oily when you're applying it! It's also quite glittery and sparkly which can look strange, and sticks to random patches (not necessarily dry ones either)

Over the years I loved buying different products from Revlon. I normally buy nail polishes and perfumes but not usually make up. Postie plus was having a clear out of all its Revlon Make up and I thought I would catch a bargain with this foundation. At the time I managed to get this foundation on special for about $5 a bottle. This normally retails at thirty to forty dollars a bottle.
This foundation comes in this pump bottle. On the outside of this bottle is the photo ready labelling. The colour I picked was Rich Ginger which was a little bit too dark for me but that ok because I always mix in lighter shades if it doesn't match my skin right.
Upon application I found this foundation really easy to blend out. I noticed that it lasted me half a day and started to fade out towards the end of the day. There was no scent at all with this foundation.
Overall I was slightly disappointed with this foundation because it didn't stay on my skin for long. I would not pay the retail price for this foundation. I wouldn't recommend it to people with dry skin like mine. Might be more suitable to other skin types.
I'm normally a fan of Revlon products so I purchased this foundation when it was on special at the chemist. It had light to medium coverage, and didn't seem to blend well. It gave my skin a rather dewy finish, however it was obvious I was wearing foundation. I found that it also wore off quickly during the day. I really wasn't impressed with this foundation, so I only wore this a couple of days before going back to my usual foundation.
Tips: Don't bother purchasing this, if you are looking for a mid- price range foundation Revlon Colourstay is far superior.
I purchased this product because i usually love revlon foundations but this one i didnt like so much. It seemed to have very light coverage ans would appear streaky on my skin, you could see the foundation on my skin.
I'm a fan of Revlons foundation - I find that the colour payoff and staying ability is really good for the price.
Until I met this.
This was so shimmery on my skin, I loathed it. I loooove highlighter and the dewy look but this made me look like I was wearing micro glitter all over my face. True to its claims it photographed ok but in person it looked horrible on me.
I also found that this really clung to dry patches on my face and the shimmer further highlighted said dry patches. I was really annoyed because the colour was the perfect fit for me and I really like the sleek and expensive looking packaging.
Instead of throwing this out, however, I gave it to a model I was photographing and she used it and it looked incredible in photos on her skin.
I absolutely won't purchase this again or recommend it to anyone who doesn't like micro glitter or has dry skin. However, I would recommend it if you were going to be photographed and wanted your skin to have a beautiful glow in photos that looks natural. This photographs beautifully.
Bought this foundation after hearing great reviews about it on YouTube only to be very disappointed. The foundation was patchy and very thin that I felt it wasn't covering much. I also at the time had quite a lot of acne and this foundation did nothing towards covering them up. Not to mention the specks of glitter though out. I would recommend it to people with smoother not acne prone skin because the glitters in it catch the light and highlight any imperfections that you have.
Tips: More for smoother skin types not recommended for acne prone skin
I purchased this recently and wore it for the first time today. I have always had problematic skin so am constantly on the look out for foundations with great coverage. Revlon PhotoReady unfortunately, does not provide good coverage. I found it to be thin (I hope this makes sense to readers?!) and did NOTHING towards covering my adult acne. I have heard fantastic things about this foundation, however, it's not for me. Word of advice: I wouldn't recommend this to anyone with oily skin.
Tips: Not recommended for anyone with oily skin or anyone looking for good coverage.
I have used this product for a few years now. I always bought 'nude'. A few months ago I purchased the 'nude' and thought it looked a bit darker than usual. When I applied the foundation the next day, it was alot darker and looked orange on my skin. I checked and I had bought the same tone as usual. I went back to Farmers and they advised me that the formula had been changed due to complaints that the original formula was too 'sparkly' and made women look whiter than it should. So they changed the sparkle in the formula to a gold sparkle which is why it is orange on me. Disappointed as I really loved this foundation. However, I was able to return it for a refund and I found another revlon foundation I am happy with now.
I bought this foundation after being recommended by a friend but was so disappointed. The consistency was quite thin which i found made it hard to apply properly and it didn't give me much coverage. It was also quite glittery or shimmery and I quite often had people telling me I had glitter on my face which, lets be honest, isn' t the response you're looking for with an "undetectable" foundation. It also dried my skin out a lot and any imperfections became flakey skin by the afternoon. I wouldn't repurchase this product for those reasons.
Tips: Get this tested on your skin in store, leave it for the day and see how you feel afterwards.
I found this foundation very thick and sticky to apply. I have semi-sensitive skin and after about 2 hours the foundation had lifted from my skin and was just sitting on top. It also created dry patches. I usually use Revlon so I was very surprised at this reaction! The colour did match really nicely though and had a good tone! Would be a great foundation if it doesn't react to you like it reacted to me!
Tips: Go to your local supplier and get them to colour test you then leave it for the day! If it still looks good by the end go back and get it but if it doesn't then you have saved $40! :)
