Revlon Photoready Perfecting Primer Review

I use this almost every day its light and dosnt cause break outs on my skin, its natural shades have a glow to them, my favorite cheeper one.

I was so excited to try this product when it first came out as I have always been a lover of all things Revlon - But this just didn't do it for me.

I found that it was really expensive at first but with the deal that was on at Farmers ("Buy 2, Get 1 Free") it worked out cheaper with a few other products.

The product was really light, but I felt it changed the tone of my skin alot for a primer, it didn't reduce the appearance of pores at all. My foundation also didn't like to stay on my face. I did also notice in photos I looked really washed out when using this primer, not like others.

This was the very first primer i ever brought and a good investment at that! It doesn't have a high fragrant smell and it leaves the skin feeling silky smooth! The pump is easy to use and the packaging is quite basic, nothing fancy! I haven't really noticed the impact it makes vs not wearing any primer at all but I would still highly recommend it !

Has a really nice feel when it goes on, and helps keep make up on all day, but there are cheaper products that are just as good.

I'm not sure if this primer actually does much for me. It makes my skin very smooth and soft but for evening out skintone I'm not entirely sure if it does too much. I was told when I brought it it would even redness etc, It doesn't do this too well. However I use it as a base for my foundation as my skin is quite dry and I find if I put foundation straight on moisturizer my skin has a dry look to it, but with this primer inbetween I get a much smoother finish so would recommend for this reason.

I bought this and was surprised. I found it a lot more liquidy to other primers that I had tried/used in the past but it did it's job. I definitely prefer using my foundation over this rather than nothing at all. However I have definitely found primers that make your skin a lot more smoother and help to hold your foundation a lot better and longer than this one. Saying that, it's a handy and decent primer and worth the money I paid for it. The packaging is nice and easy to use, pumps are great! Would definitely buy again!

As this was the first primer I have ever brought I thought it was pretty good. It kept my make-up on all day and didn't make my skin oily. As this is the only primer I have tried I have nothing to compare it too but I will definitely purchase again when I run out as I know it works.

well, this is my first proper "primer" I've bought...the others were "makeup bases"...its pretty good. got mine from the chemist in town. I've used it with each of my foundations and BB cream and it seems to be pretty good. I don't have anything to compare it too so I can't say it's a bad product. I wouldn't say it's very moisturising so I do need to give my face a good dose of moisturiser before applying. not sure how much to apply so I just apply one pump. not sticky, not slimy, absorbs into the skin...so I like it!!

First off, I really like the packaging for this product. It sits nicely on my makeup counter looking sleek and has a pump dispenser! so much easier to get exactly what I want out but the downside is it doesn't save much product as the nozzle has a tendency to clog if not used for a few days which means wasting a pump to clear it properly. The primer itself is fairly thick so you do need to work with it quickly to get a smooth finish or it will just peel up if over worked. It definitely reduces the appearance of pores and fine lines when applied correctly and helps to blur imperfections, at first I didn't notice much so I took a photo with one side of my face primed and the other without which showed a noticeable difference. I'd probably get this product again to keep on hand as a back up or to give my skin a change but I wouldn't pay full price or recommend it for someone who wants something easy to throw on under foundation.

For the price you pay for this there are quite a few options on the market.. Would I choose this over the others.. Probably not. Do I think this is a good product? Not convinced.

This is a very generous sized bottle (glass) with a pump that dispenses a reasonable amount.. I usually require two for my skin. It glides on kind of like a moisturizer (bit of a colored film left behind) but soon blends into the skin.. I do think towards the end of your bottle this jar is going to be not so economical as I think you will struggle to be able to get all the product out!

In terms of light reflecting.. Nope. Don't think so. I own a lot of those sort of products and that definitely does not tick the box on skin enhancement or glow factor.

It does create a good base for make up and I find that my make up lasts alright with it.. Although I also feel like this product could be to blame for my make up slipping off over the day!

I also find this a lil bit too thick.. I don't like thick moisturizers and I feel like they have tried to make this product too much like a moisturizer which I am not a fan of at all.
