Oasis B.B. Cream

Tried samples from website, the Monroe has good coverage for a BB cream, matte finish, no good for mature skin, tends to sink into any lines & wrinkles after a while, the other one I tried was the Bardot, lighter coverage & dewey finish, good for young & mature skin types, but if you want more coverage, use a concealer as well. Bit pricey but would last for ages as you only need to use a small amount.

The Monroe BB Cream

I have recently received a sample pot of this and put it to the test! The sample will last you about three-five days, so you can have a good verdict after using it.

The packaging is a durable little pot which you can use for something else in the future! Or, you can squeeze more of your BB Cream into it when you go away for a day or two so you won't have to carry around a big bottle.

The smell is lovely, it doesn't smell like foundation, more like a subtle moisturizer which gets a 10/10 in my books!

It gives quite a full coverage and lasts a typical work day or night out, but if you want it to last for both, you'll probably have a problem. But, again, that's where the sample pot is so handy!

It glides on a bit like a paste, I'd say they should dilute the formula a bit for smoother application, as you use quite a bit more than with other BB Creams.

I'd definitely recommend at least a sample of this product (and it's free!), and I know I'll be saving up to buy a full sized product. It's a bit expensive at $49.95, but it's cruelty-free and you're supporting local business.

Furry Face?!

I'm not an experienced BB cream user, but I know I won't be becoming one anytime soon. I tried a sample of this in the 'Monroe' and the colour and consistency looked nice and silky, and a bit like lightly whipped cream. The colour blended into my skin, but didn't seem to cover anything. No, unfortunately it just made my face look FURRY. :/ I'm happy each ingredient is chosen carefully for specific reasons to benefit your skin, because I hate unnatural products and my skin is fussy too. But, there's no way I'd want to buy this because my skin, blotchy and dry as it is, looked better without it. The price of a bottle of this is also not very cheap. My skin is very dry and sensitive, and has eczema, so I think this BB cream just stuck to the dry patches and made it look worse. I think if you had oilier skin this could work pretty good for you. But, if you have dry skin like me, you might end up with a 'furry' face, as my sister said it looked like.

Tips: Might not be for you if you have dry skin. If you are wanting good coverage, I don't know if this is the one to go for.

Favourite BB Cream

I've tried a lot of BB creams, and this is definitely in my top 5. Usually I find BB creams (particularly korean ones) can be quite grey, and make me looked washed out, supermarket BB creams, make me break out, I've used more high end CC creams and didn't like these either as nothing seemed to suit me oily skin, but the Monroe was perfect. I loved the matte coverage it gave, and a little certainly goes a long way. I like using my beauty blender to apply this BB cream, as I find it gives a more flawless finish, or a flattop XO brush. Highly recommend, and although it's expensive, it has far more coverage than the average BB cream, so would be perfect as your everyday foundation as well.

Worth the Splurge!

I recently purchased The Bardot BB Cream by Oasis Beauty. I received samples of their skincare range and I was very impressed so I thought I would give their BB Cream a go. So I brought the full size BB Cream (RRP $49.50) For a 50ml product. Now your probably thinking, Thats expensive and Is it really worth the price? Lets find out.

Before application I used Oasis Beauty Apple a Day Moisturizer. After letting that sink into my skin I then apply the BB Cream. I use 1 pump of BB Cream and I apply it with my fingers. I hear people say that “BB Cream is just tinted moisturizer” and others say “BB cream is a miracle product”. I have tried many drug store and Korean branded BB Creams and nothing compares to this one. The texture of the BB Cream is like no other that I have tried. It feels a bit gluggy & creamy at the same time (If that makes any sense lol". It is very smooth and creamy to apply, also a little goes a long way. Just like every other Oasis Beauty products it has a very nice smell to it too which makes it more appealing. It covers my imperfections perfectly, evens out my skin tone, gives off a lightening and brightening effect and leaves me with a dewy finish.

I have been using this instead of foundation everyday for the last 2 weeks and im loving it! You can embrace the dewy finish or you can mattify it by applying some powder over the top. It lasts all day and doesn't wear off, I have had no skin reactions to it either which is a big bonus for me. I would defiantly recommend requesting a sample of the BB cream to see how it can benefit your skin. Overall this BB Cream is now a must in my daily routine, Its hydrating and I use it as foundation. 5/5 for this product. I really like the Oasis Beauty range as it made in New Zealand and it is made from organic ingredients. Totally worth the splurge!

Tips: A little goes a long way :)

Oasis BB cream

I LOVE this product, you can almost slap it on your face and it blends itself in, it has spf so often this is all I wear when out in the sun, It is a good colour, I know they had a few issues in the beginning getting the colour right

Tips: I find using a brush or a beauty blender works well with this

My new staple!

I have tried so many different brands of make up but never really stuck to one. However, after sampling Oasis BB cream in Monroe I was amazed. I immediately tracked down a store that sold the full size and I have used it everyday since! I have even put on my other foundations, including my luxury branded stuff, then taken it off and put on my Oasis BB cream! The first thing I noticed was the smell. I really liked it. It make me think of clay or a mud mask it made me feel that this product was all natural. I can't stand unnecessary artificial fragrance. The texture was creamier than other bb creams and it stuck to my skin, sort of sinking in as I applied it. I learnt to dab it in small sections rather than spread it across a wider area. I love the colour match too. Monroe is fair but has good coverage which I found blended well over some discolouration I have. The packaging is handy and practical in a pump dispenser. I can see how much product is left...so I can easily tell it's time to order more!

Tips: Ordering from the oasis website earns you loyalty points (sign up before you place your order) andyou get to choose a sample to try.

BB monroe

when you first put it on your hand it looked way to dark for pale old me but it mixes really well with other make up and your skin to create a good covered look and doesnt highlight your pores as much as other BB creams do. It also was more matte which meant I wasnt as shiny as normal which was a nice surprise. It had a slightly odd smell as it was not scented but it was not off putting. I would say though that you do have to use quiet a bit to get full coverage as it is quiet thick and does need the help of other make up products. All in all i would say that yes it is a good product and does its job very well but is quiet expensive for the amount you have to use but its nice to treat yourself.

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! (*.*)

I used the Hepburn BB cream and I swear by it. As it says, it should give a flawless dewy look. And it does deliver. Giving me a flawless look without feeling too sticky or heavy, in fact, I forget I wear unless I remember I put it on.

The price is reasonable, as it lasts over 6 months. And is very good quality.

Would I recommend this product to anyone else? Of course I would, in fact, if your looking for a good BB cream, this is it.

I would definitely use it again. :D

Tips: A good tip is to use a good cream (like Nivea) and mix the BB cream with a bit of the cream, and apply to face. this helps smooth it on easier and give a subtle natural look. :D

Not my favourite from the Oasis girls...

I Love Oasis beauty, their free samples policy, their values, and most if their products. I was so excited when they came out with a BB cream but unfortunately I didn't like this. I found the texture very sticky when applied and quite powdery - I almost had to drag it across my skin to work it in as it dried out so fast. I didn't find the shades particularly blendable (I tried Bardot and Monroe) and it tended to 'melt' off my face after a few hours of wear. I will not be using this again but they are an awesome company who I will continue to support.

Tips: Try mixing different shades to match to your skin.
