This product is beautiful! It is luxurious easy to apply, a little goes a long way and it does truly brighten your skin. It comes in different tones so you can match it to your skin winter or summer. It doesn't give a strong concealment but it reflects the light from flaws being covered. Fantastic

Tips: I used it as a highlighter on my brow bone and top of cheek bone too!
LOVE this product! I used to finish my makeup but find that my makeup would look very uniform and monotone. I wanted some light to my skin, i absolutely love it when sunshine bounces of the face and gives a fresh, dewy youthful look. To achieve this effect I used to use Vaseline Petroleum Jelly. This sounds ridiculous but it really did a fantastic job. However, after being recommended this product by YSL, I absolutely fell in love with it. The packaging is good because it allows the product content to be managed and dispersed evenly. The product can be used in various places on the face so the brush effect makes it very precise. Only a small amount of product is needed to create a luminous finish to makeup. I would not say this product adds or takes anything away from your makeup but i would say it is a makeup enhancer. As mentioned earlier, I found that this product lifted my competed makeup and brought definition and warmth to the face.
Tips: Use this product down the bridge of your nose and your cupids bow as well as the top of the brow bone and inner section of the eye area. This technique adds glow and a dewy warmth.
It does a good job of covering my under eye darkness, and highlighting, but you really do not need a lot of product, just a little for a day look. A bit pricey, but definitely worth it :)
This was my first YSL product and it took me awhile to bite my lip to splurge out on this baby. It was a WOW moment for me as soon as I tried it on. This product is amazing! Worked fantastically to brighten up the under eye dark areas and gives a gorgeous highlighting glow. I'm on my second pen and will continue to repurchase. However this product probably won't be enough to cover some stubborn blemishes or huge zits! So I would use other concealers for that, don't waste this on it because it ain't cheap :) But I would definitely recommend this to anybody you will not be disappointed!
Tips: I use this as the last step of my makeup routine, putting powder over it would take away the illuminating effect! Strawberrynet is the cheapest place to buy so far but I've noticed they do have older stock. Also YSL has bought out more shades on this I believe so it's worth going into the counter to try it out yourself.
I love this product! I don't love the price - so sometimes I will ask nicely if anyone wants to give me one for Christmas (hint hint)! Otherwise back before COVID I would buy duty free every now and again. I use this as a highlighter from my brow bone around to my upper cheekbone, and on the bridge of my nose. I love that it blends in perfectly with my skin tone, and I don't need to use much. I also like that it isn't as shimmery as many highlighters, I can wear it on a daily basis and to work without feeling like I'm ready for a night out!
Tips: I don't think it is great as a concealer - I tried at first but it is much better as a natural looking highlighter.
When working in cosmetics I would use this product religiously, however only for its reputation. Personally I have found nicer products that are similar, such as the new Maybelline illuminating stick. Gorgeous packaging though, If i had the cash to splash around i probably would buy it again because it does feel like luxury, however I think it is ovverated for the price!
I got this a while ago and I have to say I'm not a religious user.
It's not very effective on bad dark circles but for days when you've had enough sleep it really does brighten the eye area really well. Thin consistency that's easy to apply, with a light to medium coverage.
It does highlight cheekbones beautifully though!
Overall, not sure the payoff is worth the price point, but I'm sure if I had better skin to begin with and less to conceal, I would love it a lot more haha.
Tips: Set, set, set. If you don't set, this will crease under the eyes.
Great highlighter and cover up for under the eyes, top of nose and cupids bow. I personally think it is too expensive for me to purchase, there are drugstore products that work similarly. But overall the product works and has great packaging
I use this as my conceler as well as for the dark circle, does what it says. It comes in a form of a pen with a brush on the tip and a button type at the top which you push to make the liquid form substance release from the brush tip. A essential for all women's purses.
Tips: Dont go over board on pushing that button the more you oush the more product comes out. I dab it with the brush in the spots i want it then use my finger to blend as the brush dont blend well
This product has been a staple of my beauty routine for many years. As someone who has hereditary dark circles, this brightens my under eye area to disguise them. This product wears well and the pen lasts me nearly a year. I wear it 5-6 days per week. This highlighter can also be used to highlight the face such as on the Cupid’s bow to enhance the pout.
Tips: A little goes a long way. Focus on the inner corner to brighten the eye area and then create an upside down triangle to blend into the foundation on the cheeks.
