Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-Free Review

I've worn the BB cream to work, the gym, and going out and it's stayed on all day through all of it! It smells nice, provides great coverage and lasts the whole day so it almost does exactly what it says it'll do. Maybe I just have the oiliest skin on the planet, but didn't seem to do anything for that side of things.That being said, I think I'll buy it again. It's a pretty good price, and works well for me!

Very fluid and easy to apply, spread easily and evenly, good appearance. Shine was well controlled and my larger pores covered nicely. I have redness on areas of my face and the cream covered these well. I have sensitive skin and many products leave my skin feeling a little itchy at least for a few application but I had no such problems with this product. It is also nice to know it has UV protection, I would recommend Miracle Skin Protector..

i have oily-comb skin that is also very sensitive when it comes to trying out new products. This bb cream was light and thin which made it easy to blend into my skin. the coverage was awesome and i only needed a small amount of concealer on top. i have used bb cream before and found i didn't give me enough coverage so i would just use it as a base under my foundation so i really liked the fact i did not have to do that with this bb cream. my skin felt like i didn't have any make up on and it could breath, however i found the colour (medium) made my face look orange which i had to be careful of as my room where i apply my make up is quite dark and i couldn't tell it was orange until i stepped out into the light. i found that this bb cream did not last on my skin, i would apply this in the morning and noticed through out the day my skin got extremly oily (more than usual) and if i touched my face the cream would come straight off onto my fingers. after a couple of days of using this product i noticed my skin breaking out alot more than usual, by the end of the week i had more break outs than i would get in a month. i stopped using this as i have my ball in a week and want my skin looking good for then, my break outs stopped as soon as i stopped using this cream.

i loved the consistency and coverage of this bb cream. i didn't like that it didn't help with the oiliness but i was very impressed with everything else, however i don't think this bb cream is for me as my skin is too sensitive to the product. i will continue using this after my ball and see if it was actually the product breaking me out. i do recommend this product and it is so affordable.

Skin Type - My skin is a warm medium tan, oily. My specific concerns for my skin is how to control and minimise breakouts and to keep my skin clear and healthy 24/7. Consistency - The BB cream is quite light and a bit runny for my taste, slightly creamy. For me it would actually run out of the bottle even if I was not squeezing it. Application - I apply all my BB creams with my fingertips as it allows me to warm the product up and control application. It is easy to apply but you probably need two coats to reach a medium coverage. Fragrance - It didn't really like the smell of it, it smelt like plastic and chemicals. However, the smell wears off after you apply it and it not that detectable. Coverage - Definetely a light coverage with just one coat due to its runny texture, with a matte, almost powder like finish. To reach medium you need 2+ light coats. Longevity - It lasts for roughly 6 hours, however if you start to touch your face the product may wear off slightly. Price - It is worth the money for what you get. I personally like the Korean BB creams a bit more as they last longer and you don't need to apply as much to get the same coverage. Having said that, the Garnier BB cream is good for day time looks and when you just want to tweak your appearance slightly Packaging - Going back to the runny consistency of the BB cream, the tube and nozzle were a bit too easy for the product to squish out. The product would coat the lid, the nozzle with just the slightest pressure. Results - I didn't break out from it, so the oil-free label must have worked, it doesnt really perfect skin with blemishes on it that easily rather it smoothes out light blemishes and your skin texture.

I would only recommend this to friends who are looking for a light day-time coverage to smooth out and correct minor skin problems.

I was very excited to try this bb cream as I have oily skin, so I put it on and it certainly makes imperfections less visible, its a nice fast product to use if you dont have time to put foundation on. Its very light coverage. I love how it makes your skin look when you first put it on but then after a couple of hours it starts to go patchy and it was actually terrible on my oily skin. I prefer the standard garnier bb cream not the oil free one. I felt like a grease monkey wearing it. Much to my disappointment. If you need to go to town in a rush and dont have time to do your face id reccomend this. But in my opinion I wont be buying it again as it didnt do what I thought it would.

I was really excited to be asked to test this product; I am slightly addicted to BB creams and tend to favour them more than foundations. I tested the Oil Free cream in Light – which is very light; luckily I am pasty so this wasn’t an issue.

The packaging is sleek and simple, nothing special. Upon opening the first thing I noticed is that the product literally runs out to meet you, so since the initial opening I have been storing it up the other way as there was a lot of wastage stuck around the inside of the lid. There is a hint of fragrance in the cream, but its such a tiny hint its barely noticeable, doesn’t smell nearly as bad as some of the other BB’s I have tried.

The cream itself is a very thin texture, it gives very light coverage on the skin, but feels nice and lightweight at the same time, I always applied a small amount all over my face as it goes on like a tinted moisturiser and then built it up in the areas I need more coverage. Applying the second “coat” filled in my pores and hid any redness I had. The cream didn’t really set or give the matte finish effect it promised which was disappointing. It did build up nicely without going cakey but it was a bit of a mission trying to get it all to blend. Would not recommend applying with fingers as a brush gives a better finish.

The Oil Free bit was true to its word and it held all day and didn’t slide off at all. I didn’t notice any shiny patches through out the day.

All in all it is ok, not the best BB Cream I have used and again not the worst. It is affordable and I would purchase it again if I needed something in a hurry that was easily accessible from a supermarket etc.

I used this all week, loved the ease at which it went on, and that it covered my face well. I hardly ever wear foundation, and after using this all week am converted to using it during the week. I especially like the scent, which was very subtle. A very nice product, and no problems with it at all.

I have used this product for a while now. I am Asian so I have been using the Medium shade. The product is not too runny and not too thick so it is just of the right consistency. Like all BB creams it is best to apply it using your fingers (but you can use a brush if you prefer), place a pea-sized drop at the back of your hand and it can already cover most of your face. You do not need a lot as it has a very good coverage. It is not fragrant which is really good since I tend to get rashes with products that are fragrant. It does not smell at all. It has a matte finish. When I wear it, I always do not use anymore foundation. It can also be used as concealer by simply applying it twice on areas that needs concealing. And it lasts the whole day. During the days that my face is quite oily, I just apply a powder over my T-zone and that's all. Compared to most BB creams in the market now a days, Garnier is affordable and works really well. I have used other brands with the same shade and all, but they are usually heavy to wear and cakes up most often. I have no complaints as to the packaging and how it is presented. I would highly recommend this product especially if you are the type of person who does not like to wear so many layers of make up or products on your face. This is a moisturizer, foundation, concealer and sun protector in one bottle and in a few application.

I really liked this product. I have normal to oily skin and have some redness on my cheeks which i always try to cover up, I've been trialling this product for a week now and i used the BB cream under my mineral foundation as a base/primer. It was fantastic! It doesn't have an overly strong fragrance so it was pleasant to put on, i applied it with my fingers as i would a liquid foundation but you could easily use a brush. It's a good consistency not too thin or thick and gluggly, it felt light on my skin even under my other make up. I found it made my mineral make up last a little longer than applying it without the BB cream, it gave a clean matte finish and It was super at minimizing those annoying spots and marks. I can at times get a bit of an oily forehead but the BB cream seemed to control this. You could defiantly use it on its own for a lovely natural finish but i personally found i needed a little more coverage, My only negative was I found that if i didn't clean my face before using the BB it clumped and stuck around the dry areas around my nose or around fine hairs i.e on your upper lip. I love the SPF 15 sun protection in it, i would definitely recommend Garnier BB Cream and i will continue to use it. I can't wait to see the results after using it for a longer period of time.
