GARNIER'S new BB Cream,  combats shiny, oily skin, by combining the power of ultra-absorbent mineral pigments for an immediate matte look and perfect, even-toned skin.

The oil-free BB cream works in five ways. It reduces imperfections, moisturises, gives skin a healthy glow, delivers a beautiful matte finish to skin and provides all-important sun protection with SPF 15.

GARNIER'S Oil-free BB Cream provides instant results while also improving the skin’s quality over time. After four weeks the results are clearly visible; skin is less oily, pores reduced in size, imperfections are visibly reduced and skin radiance is improved.

It has a  new active ingredient,  Mineral perlite - a powerful volcanic rock extract known for its ultra-absorbing properties.

Mineral perlite is able to retain up to two-and-a-half times its weight in oil and water and is five times more absorbing than talc, meaning any excess sebum is absorbed to fight that oily shine. This combined with uncoated mineral pigments gives the skin an even tone and a perfectly matte finish

Garnier Miracle BB Cream

This BB cream was lovely to use, it is more liquid then other BB creams i have tried, more like liquid foundation. The coverage was light but made my skin feel really soft and it covered my red skin well. It lasted for half of the day and i think it would have lasted longer if i had put powder on top.

Tips: make sure your face is clean and dry before applying. if you want to set it in place try using foundation powder on top.

BB cream oil free

what an awesome product! I have an oily skin and this cream is fabulous for oily skin. this cream is easy to apply and leaves mate and even toned skin, with full coverage. my pores looked smaller after one application. I did not smell any fragrance. product lasts all day. The packaging is alright but the box was too big, which makes it disappointing when you see the size of the product compared to it. The product did everything it claimed. Very happy with it! Totally worth the money and totally recommend it!!

Tips: I would recommend moisturising face before applying cream

Love it!

So glad that this is a full size product as I'm using it regularly :)

I'm very pale and was a little concerned when I took it out of the box that it might be too dark but it's turned out to be perfect.

It rubs in smoothly and cleanly and feels nice - like moisturiser. Sometimes foundation/concealers give me acne but no problems so far with this!

Tips: Can rub in with fingertips (like moisturiser).

amazing product!

I was rather septicle being a "mac" user trialing a "supermarket brand" however I am beyond pleasently surprised! Firstly my worry was colour - I am quite fair so tend to like a bit of colour from my foundation.. without looking like I rolled in doritos so not being able to try the colour first would put me off. "Light" was perfect though. Secondly I tend to like a suey finish overy matte but this isn't too matte and doesn't leave a powering look that I thought it could. Acne/ scar coverage wasn't great and I still needed to use a concealer. Reduces pores and imperfections - I think it would take a month to notice difference. I normally find foundations with spf to feel thick on my face but this didn't leave any heaviness at all. Over all I loved it and would use again!

Tips: Ideally use a blending brush to apply rather then fingers!

Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream

My skin in normal to oily and I tend to use high coverage foundations like double wear as have rosé checks. I tend to us a BB cream on a Sunday or a day I don’t have a lot going on. I have used 1 other BB cream, which I did like but didn’t give enough coverage. The consistency of the Garnier BB cream coming out of the bottle was watery and would always come running out when I would open the bottle which was a down fall as the cap would get messy. It was so easy to apply I would either rub it In with my hands if I was I a rush but if you do make sure you give it a good rub in as It can be show lines if you don’t. I would also use my foundation stipple brush, which gave such a nice finish. I didn’t really notice a fragrance, which is good as I cant stand things that smell that I put on my face. Coverage is sheer to medium again if you do put a bit on it does build obviously not to a foundation coverage but I was pleased with the coverage it is just as I would expect for a BB cream. The product lasted all day but I was wearing it on my ‘no make up day haha’ so didn’t notice too much about the longevity. The packaging is nice but I really didn’t like to bottle as I said every time I opened it the product would come squirting out so a pump would have been better. The results where a good I really did enjoy getting up In the morning applying this in less than 30 seconds put on mascara and lip balm on and I was ready for the day. I had no problem with the coverage and overall I think it is a good product and does what it says it does I would consider re purchasing.

Tips: I personally love using a BB cream under a foundation! Give it ago it gives a great dewy look to your foundation :)

BB cream oil free

I tried this product both with and without a concealer an it actually had a very good even coverage which is awesome. It was so easy to apply and is an extremely light foundation, compared to the normal bb cream an others I have tried. The foundation actually stayed on all day only slightly coming off in the evening like the normal bb cream. You will definitely need to use a concealer under it to correct blemishes like with most foundations out there. I would have to disagree with the fact they say it covers imperfections as it does cover any slight redness however not much else. I found blemishes to be very visible without the use of concealer under this BB cream.I would happily use it again and I will definitely recommend it to friends.

Garnier BB Cream - Miracle Skin Perfector

Skin type: Fair and oily. So I got the BB Cream for oily and combination skin in light. The light shade was almost too yellow for my skin.

Consistency: I found the formula to be very watery, not quite what I was expecting for a "cream".

Application: I tried application using my fingers and a Real Techniques sponge. Using my fingers was fine, but the sponge made the application more even and I think it looked better. Also, my nose and chin have been fairly oily lately and the sponge applied the cream a whole lot better, with fingers it was quite streaky and wouldn't blend as well.

Fragrance: There is a very faint chemically-plasticy odour. I don't find it noticeable or memorable.

Coverage: The coverage is fairly sheer. It reduced the redness on my cheeks and nose, but it wasn't entirely gone. My freckles were toned down. My pores were definitely less noticeable, which was nice. It has a matte finish, but also made my skin looked glowy without being shiny. It absorbs well into my skin. I have an older version of Garnier BB cream, which felt oily and like it just sat on top of my skin. This one, thankfully was not like that!

Lasting power: I walk to and from work each day (30 min+ each way) and work up a bit of a sweat. I found it lasted quite well, I didn't sweat it all off at the start of an 8 hour day. Instead of looking all red, hot and sweaty, I felt like I looked more natural and glowy. I was pretty impressed with how long it lasts. I could probably do with a touch-up under my eyes.

Price: $17.50 at The Warehouse. I think this compares well to other supermarket range products. I wouldn't want to pay more than $20 for it and I would try and wait for it to be on special.

Packaging: This BB cream is suuuuuper runny. It has dribbled into the lid and all around the outside of the little nozzle. The packing would be fine, if it was a cream. I don't need to squeeze the tube, as it dribbles out all by itself!

Results: Claims to instantly give a luminous matte finish, decrease pore visibility and minimise imperfections. I found that I did get these results, I definitely noticed less redness and my pores were less visible. I also found I have less dryness in the creases of my nose, which is nice, because initially the cream emphasised the dryness there. (There are also claims for what to expect after 4 weeks, but I haven't used it that long yet - may update later)

Would I recommend this product? I would recommend it, because I think it makes enough of a difference to your face with minimal effort and is not too expensive. My main issue is that the consistency is too runny.

Tips: If you have those really fine (peach-fuzzy) hairs on your face, apply BB creams (and foundations) in long downward (rather than circular) motions. This makes the hairs less noticeable and for me stops it looking less cake-y.

Overall Good Product

I normally have combination skin, so an oil free product is perfect to keep the shine away from my T-zone. The product was a nice creamy consistency and was easily applied over my face. I like the smell of the product, even though it was relatively faint and does not stay around for long. The coverage was quite sheer, which I would expect from a BB cream, but I do tend to personally prefer a medium coverage. The finish was not as matte as I would like, so I found a finishing powder was necessary for me. The product lasted most of the day, but towards the end of the day I could see patches where it was slightly worn off, but again the finishing powder helped it last longer. Compared to other brands with BB cream this product is reasonably priced. The slight negative side to this BB cream is that I didn't really notice a great improvement in skin texture and clarity, as well as the light shade still being to dark for my skin (I am exceptionally pale, and do struggle to find foundations light enough). Overall I found this a reasonable product and would be happy to use it during times where only light makeup is needed, such as holidays, but probably wouldn't use this as a day-to-day wear product.

Tips: A finishing powder helps set the product and made it last longer than without.

So far, so great

I have been using this product for a week now, and so far, I'm loving it! I use it as a base under my foundation and so far, my skin is less oily and it really evens out my skin tone!

It's almost like a primer and really does great things towards helping my red skin.

And on the weekends, I just use it like a tinted moisturiser - it's got SPF 15 so you're covered there as well! I will keep using this product - like I said, so far so good.

Tips: Apply it with a foundation brush - for the same reason that you use one for foundation. It makes the application so much better and the less you use your fingers on your face, the better.

definitely worth a try

I was fortunate enough to trial two BB creams from garnier, my other review was not so good, but i am definitely much happier with this bb cream.

The consistency was very thin and runny, but the coverage was excellent. This bb cream had no trouble covering my rosacea and redness. I even managed to build up the coverage under my eyes to conceal my dark circles. This product has a very subtle moisturizer-esque very very faint scent which disappears almost instantly when applied. I have been using it most days and i havent had any break outs or pimples popping up. I have combination oily skin and find that this lasts around 8-12 hours depending on what i am doing during this time. I have tested this out in the rain without any primers or powders and it was fine besides a little fading around my t-zone. All in all a superb product

Tips: I tried using a translucent powder, a pressed powder (For extra coverage) and also a loose powder. The loose powder was fine, flawless airbrushed finish. The translucent powder was great and sealed in the bb cream without the added coverage. but the pressed powder seemed to cling to the bb cream and caked up around my nose, under eyes and mouth. i suggest an extremely light hand if you plan to use pressed powder with this bb cream
