Airbrush Effect?

I have the Airbrushed version of this foundation and I honestly don't like it. It's really hard to dispense the right amount of product, I pretty much always end up with far too much product on the back of my hand. There is a ton of shimmer in the foundation and while I love a dewy look, shimmer doesn't make a good foundation. I also have combination skin and this sticks to my dry patches (also any peach fuzz on my face) like mad. The colour matching I feel like is really bad too. During the summer I've tried mixing this with my Stila Bronzing moisturizer to darken it up a bit and while it does look a bit better, it's not the kind of foundation I want. It does have pretty decent coverage, but with such a bad formula and a somewhat patchy result, it's really not worth it at all. Definitely feels greasy too and I find the shimmer sticks to my face/hands even after I remove the make up.

Wouldnt call this PhotoReady

I have quite dry and sensitive skin and normally stick to using mineral foundation but I saw this at a local pharmacy and they had them at 50% off so I thought what the hey always good to have a backup foundation. This liquid foundation came with a little pump which was easy to use and pumped out the product cleanly and easily (no clumping and building up at the end of the pump). The product felt quite light and fluid and had quite good pigment. I applied using a stippling brush and it was very easy to work with and blend in. I felt this was a medium type of coverage but didn’t cover up my dark circles or the lovely giant zit I had on my chin that required some extra concealer. It was buildable but I think you would have to be careful as it did kind of sit in some places and gather around any areas that may be a bit drier. The finish was quite shiny for me, I do normally like a dewy finish but this was slightly shinier than I like almost glittery. I also found the wear on this foundation wasn’t that great, it had sort of all fallen off my face by the afternoon and looked like I hadnt applied any. I didn’t set with any finishing powder or anything so this may make a difference but I did use a primer first before applying. There was no real fragrance or anything that caused any irritation to my skin. All in all I wouldn’t rate this foundation but for the price I got it for I cant really complain. Will be something I will keep as a backup only I think.

Not photoReady

Nope I wasn't PhotoReady with this foundation! I have the medium beige in 006. I probably like everybody else find the glitter/shimmer just over bearing I looked like I had been rolling around in sand all day after I applied this. It's such a shame too because it did have good points. It doesn't feel heavy oily or greasy. it is quite a runny liquid foundation so it is very easy to apply with medium coverage but you could easily add more or less. The pump bottle was good. The pump never got blocked or caked around the outside of the pump. It doesn't have much of a smell. I felt like my skin could breathe while wearing this. I did only use a small amount. with no primer or anything else afterwards. And I found putting it on at 8am most of it was gone by 3pm. So not ideal if you wanted it to last all day. It was very easy to remove I just used facial cleansing wipes and it all came off using them.

Tips: Try the Revlon age defy or Revlon colour stay before trying this

better than others

i love how this product has a range to match a range of skin tones, it goes on easily and doesnt rub off when taking clothes on/off. Not the worlds best coverage but still does the job- i just put powder over top when i require extra coverage. Would defiantly recommend.

Too little coverage and too much shine

I brought this foundation in the shade vanilla when my usual colorstay was out of stock. I really liked the packaging and the pump dispenser was easy to control and use. The texture is creamy and easy to apply however i found that it lacked the coverage of colorstay and left far too much shine. I all for dewy skin but feltl like this was giving me an oil slick look. After finishing with pressed powder i still found the same thing. It didnt wear very well and after two hours found that most if it had slipped off. I will not be using this foundation again.

Revlon Photo Ready Makeup

I purchased this about a month ago as have been seeing lots of good reviews. I purchased it from Farmers when it was 30% off Revlon and I also had a gift card so it only ended up costing me $14. This I am grateful for because I actually don't rate it at all! I have more dry/dehydrated skin and I find that it just kind of sits on my skin and sinks into all the fine lines. It is also really glittery which I'm not particularly a fan of. The coverage was medium to buildable. I first used it with a brush then bought a sponge to see if that would change the way it sat on my skin but to no avail. I have used colourstay in the past and that was fine but I wouldnt go purchasing this anytime soon.

Tips: Probably best to avoid if you have dry skin. It is also rather glittery which was kind of weird.

An old friend

This used to be my go-to before I switched to a MAC foundation. I really liked how it catered to pale girls and offered a decent amount of coverage that was definitely buildable. Only issues I had was that due to my combination skin it would settle around the drier areas like my nose and lips and get a little flaky, not major, but I probably wouldn't go back now from my MAC.

Tips: Avoid if you have dry or combo skin.

new best friend!

I have super sensitive skin and recently was recommended this foundation from a lady at farmers make up section . I now thank this foundation as it works so amazing and covers up acne and scarring perfectly! It also looks very natural on and super easy to apply. It is abit pricey but once you use it you will see why and be very happy with it. I will never change to another foundation and as a bonus no fragrance or oils so great for any skin type! Love love love!! :D

Tips: Use foundation brush to apply evenly ,works wonders.

photo finish

I use this as my everyday foundation I love it its so easy to blend and not thick yet is a full coverage foundation and hides any inperfections. And blemishas. Its easy to work with and you dont need alot. Lasts well throughout the day. The one thing I love the most is when having photos taken it dosnt give u that white ghostly look. Dosnt give me breakouts and is easy to remove with makeup wipes or a cleanser and dosnt block up ur pore. This is my holy grail foundation .

Tips: Blend with a good foundation brush and dont use to much. And make sure its match to uou skin colour properly otherwise it can through an orange tinge.

No thank you!

I was recommended this foundation when I first started wearing make up. After the first few times I wore it i noticed that it was flaking off my skin and made my skin look dry. I have really naturally dry skin and I moisturize religiously but this foundation does nothing for my already dry skin. It does however look great in photos but is too sparkly for everyday wear.
