Revlon PhotoReady Make Up Review

I love this foundation. I was an avid colorstay foundation user but since they have changed the formulation I cant stand it so have moved to the photoready. It gives a flawless finish without looking heavg and cakey. Love the luminous finish. Its perfect!

I had this foundation about 12-18 months ago and when i first started wearing it, it did what i wanted. It gave a light coverage (I didnt use a lot) and didnt move too much, a bonus for summer. However, when I was wearing it for a night out I would find it made my face super pale in photos. I looked washed out and like I had no idea what I was doing with my make up. It didnt matter the powder I used, it was always the same outcome. I also found it to have a small shimmer to it. I noticed it when washing my hands after applying it. I used the whole bottle, hoping it would get better, but sadly it didnt. I wouldnt buy it again, Revlon has many better foundations than this one.

I have used this product for a few years now. I always bought 'nude'. A few months ago I purchased the 'nude' and thought it looked a bit darker than usual. When I applied the foundation the next day, it was alot darker and looked orange on my skin. I checked and I had bought the same tone as usual. I went back to Farmers and they advised me that the formula had been changed due to complaints that the original formula was too 'sparkly' and made women look whiter than it should. So they changed the sparkle in the formula to a gold sparkle which is why it is orange on me. Disappointed as I really loved this foundation. However, I was able to return it for a refund and I found another revlon foundation I am happy with now.

I had wanted to try this for AGES, so i was so excited once I finally got to try it. But I felt that it just wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be.

The coverage was really good but it had a 'shimmer' through it which I really did not like. I found that it accentuated any flaw I had on my face.

The colour I got was a tiny bit too pale for me though, so possibly if I got the exact colour I may have enjoyed it more, but that won't really help my problem with the shimmer. I feel if they weren't there I would have loved it more. For now I'll stick to my Revlon Colourstay :)

At first I did like this foundation as it provided good coverage but now I find it a bit frustrating as it has now become a bit hit and miss. It buffs in well when used with some moisturisers and primers but not others. If I decide I want to use this foundation I can't use the MichealTodd citrus moisturiser before hand and the revon photo ready primer works well will other foundations but not if I use before applying this one which I find weird as it is the same line... Anyway it can be a good foundation if matched well with a priming product which lately I have been using the Loreal Lumi primer and that seems to leave me with a good finish.

I used to use the photoready foundation for quite a while but really it didn't give me enough coverage (and then I discovered mineral makeup!). I wouldn't repurchase this now, as I'm more of a fan of good ol' colourstay!

I'm normally a fan of Revlon products so I purchased this foundation when it was on special at the chemist. It had light to medium coverage, and didn't seem to blend well. It gave my skin a rather dewy finish, however it was obvious I was wearing foundation. I found that it also wore off quickly during the day. I really wasn't impressed with this foundation, so I only wore this a couple of days before going back to my usual foundation.

I have been using this foundation for the past 3 months and I love it. It feels light, not heavy at all and nearly covers my darkness under my eyes, doesn't crease at all, I'm 45 so few wrinkles around and under the eyes. I like how it gives me a fresh look in photos, so that's a bonus. If I'm going out will wear a BB cream underneath with the Photo Ready powder and love the compliments I get. Stays on all day even if I get a bit hot still stays on. I use to use Jane Iredale liquid mineral foundation but much prefer this. I do apply with a beauty blender and which I think helps with the coverage.

Im on of those gals who has a tonne of different foundations, for specific days of coverage. Revlon Photoready is my in-between light & full coverage look and it stays on all day. I love the finish, I love that its easy to pump out and I love that it's lasted me forever!

I purchased this product because i usually love revlon foundations but this one i didnt like so much. It seemed to have very light coverage ans would appear streaky on my skin, you could see the foundation on my skin.
