My first impression was with the bottle and wand inside. Its rather messy to use as the wand collects lots of product on the outside and easily dripped all over the place. I imagine this will become a blessing at the end of the product with it being super easy to get as much product out of the bottle as possible. It has a slight chemical scent to it, but definitely not and offensive smell. This smooths over the skin and blends in awesome. I really like the amount of cover it offers also. My skin had a nice radiance to it once applied. I haven't noticed any plumping of the skin as promised, but perhaps it was just so subtle I didn't notice over the time using this. Not sure I would spend $43 on it (Farmers price) but would 100% purchase it at Chemist Warehouse price of $25. This is for sure worth a try.

Tips: Be careful when first opening as the product can get messy. I suspect due to the nature of the bottle, it will be possible to add moisturizer to the nearly empty to make the most of every drop of this awesome stuff.
I received the shade light (2-3). The foundation is packaged in a glass bottle it has a rubber top lid which twists open to reveal a dropper dispenser. The formula of the foundation is on the runnier side so care is needed as it can go everywhere. Side note; shaking the bottle immediately before use does help with this. I applied the foundation initially by dropping a few drops onto clean fingers and spreading it out evenly onto my face. l then took my damp beauty sponge and lightly blended it out. I found this the most effective way to achieve a flawless application. The foundation layed on nicely over my other skincare and SPF so no problems with pilling or any skin reaction. The foundation or tint consists of 1% pure Hyaluronic acid too.
It felt smooth and hydrating on my skin during wear. No clinging or accentuating of dry patches. The coverage is quite sheer but could be more medium coverage with more applications, personally I didn't try this due to the shade being a little dark for my skin tone. I think this is a nice hydrating tint for eveyday use. It didn't cover any redness or pigmentation spots just evened out my skin tone a little. A concealer and power can fix any other blemishes if necessary but if you just want something for nice glowing or plumping skin then I think this could be a winner.
While I have used Hyaluronic acid serums in the past this isn't quite the same. The foundation or tint didn't dry my skin out and did give the promise of plumping skin it isn't a skincare product, so don't go throwing out your serums in hope that this could replace them! In saying that, this is a lovely product so yes I would use this again but it the lightest shade.
Tips: Shake bottle before use and open carefully.
I'd given up on BB creams and foundations, which never seem to do what's promised, in the main because my skin is a challenge, to say the least.
So I was skeptical about L'Oréal's new True Match Plumping Lifting Tinting Serum. However, my doubts we're soon allayed.
This tinted serum truly delivers on the promises, being a lovely ightweight foundation, infused with 1% pure hyaluronic acid, it naturally illuminates my skin and corrects the imperfections.
Having checked the How Tos, I first dampen a clean makeup sponge, then shake the easy grip serum bottle before using the handy pipette to dispense a few drops of this comparatively runny tinted serum on the back of my hand. Then, use the makeup sponge, I stipple a small amount to provide light coverage, which perfectly blends and evens out my varigated skintone, which is amazing! Finally a product that helps to lightly camouflage vitiligo, and without caking or accentuating, or filling fine lines and large pores.
It feels nourishing and dewy on my face and does provide all-day hydration.
I am looking forward to smoother skin overtime, with continued use.
Tips: This serum bottle is filled to the brim, so go gently as you open it, and you won't get in a pickle.
Use a damp makeup sponge and place 2-3 drops of serum on the back of your hand for ease of application and a natural finish. If you use a dispense too much serum, using clean hands, gently and lightly tap all over your face and neck to blend in perfectly.
I love this foundation. I’m not into particularly heavy foundations and matte foundations sit in every wrinkle and fine line and make them stand out more!
This serum foundation is light and hydrating. The coverage is good and I feel leaves me with a very natural look. You don’t need a lot at all either so I recommend starting with a little and building on it.
My only ‘niggle’ with it is that it’s a very watery consistency compared to most foundations so the dropper applicator can be dripping as you lift it out of the bottle so you’ve got to be quick depositing foundation for application or you’re at risk of getting it on your clothes (I’ve done it twice) or on the vanity etc. I now deposit foundation to back of my hand then use a sponge to apply! Apart from that - this foundation is likely to be my new daily!!
Love this product. I have been actively using this product for around a month now and have so far loved it. This product is very buildable, and can give you a more full coverage look if you do so, this product is always very hydrating and did not look cakey on my skin at all throughout the day.
Tips: Layer the tinted serum to give you a more full coverage look.
I like this foundation. It's easy to apply and blend in and the finish is nice. Coverage is buildable although I haven't tried to attempt a more full coverage as I'm happy to use this for a more natural look and light weight feel. I guess, the downside for me would be the price point for the amount of product you get and how quickly I go through the bottle.perhaps because I need more product than other foundations to get the coverage I want.
Tips: Finish with a setting powder to help it last and not be too shiny
I bought this product three days ago from Chemist warehouse. I have the 4-5 medium and its perfect for my skin tone. Initially it applies quite dark but once it dries, it is a great match for me. I was looking for something really hydrating with a bit of coverage, but still feeling light. Its does these three things! I do have quite a bit of sunspots do I like to have something on my face most of the time to even out my skintone. I love it so far. Just back from the gym and it stays in place perfectly. I do find by the end of the day it does settle into my forehead lines but maybe that's just practicing with primers and perhaps setting sprays? Some of my friends who like a fuller coverage wouldn't rate this product but I really really love it as my everyday go-to !!
Tips: I use the dropper to dispel smallish amounts onto my fingers or the back of my hand and from there I spread lightly over my face. I like to use my fingers for foundation application and gently press in the product. You can build from there if need be
I saw someone I follow on YouTube constantly raving about this, so I gave in and purchased. Immediately I saw what they were talking about. Its nice light-medium buildable coverage with a sheen, if you are oily definitely set otherwise it'll wear off during the day. I do like how it wears off into my dry-combination skin. I hate the dropper though, I wish it was a pump bottle instead.
Tips: Put the drops onto the back of your hand not your face haha otherwise it'll definitely squirt elsewhere.
I was lucky to win the chance to trial this True Match Serum Foundation from L'Oreal. I chose the light/medium from the chart as I felt this would be the best colour from the range for my skin. I am famiilar with the True Match Foundation and wear W3 and W4 mix in Summer and a W3 in the Winter. I love this foundation so was excited to try the Plumping Serum with Hyaluronic Acid as I am in my late forties I knew the addition would complement my skin's needs at my age. Upon opening the package I could see straight away that the colour was a pink base not a yellow base foundation I had chosen. But Idecided to proceed with the trial and warm my skin with bronzer after application. I'm not a fan of the dropper application method I prefer the pump on the original True Match formula as it's easier to get the correct amount needed. I apply my foundation with a makeup brush and instantly I could feel how cooling this foundation was on my skin. (I have Rosacea so my skin is often hot to the touch on my nose especially). It is quite runny but with a brush that isn't a problem for me but might be if you were applying it with your fingers. The coverage was nice and I was pleased with the dewy appearance when I'd finished. The first day I left it as I was working from home so didn't need to worry that the colour wasn't a great match. My daughter even commented that my skin looked great. I was please with how long this foundation stayed on especially with the humidity and no powder at all. The second day I used a light bronzer and powder on the areas where the colour match wasn't great and headed out. I was again really pleased with the way the foundation looked and it's longevity especially as I was taking a mask on and off. I tried it for the week and got a few more compliments on my skin which was a nice surprise. I would defintely recommend this to anyone needing a bit of extra hydration or with mature skin and I will be adding this to my routine in my colour asap as it's easily buildable for all occasions. Great value, hydrating and cooling it's a great product to try and see if it works for you without breaking the bank.
Tips: Don't buy it online check-in store for your correct colour as I was expecting the light/medium to have a warm base not a cool one. I will be buying the light 2-3 and the Medium 4-5 and mixing them for the perfect colour for myself.
I've been using this for about a year now for daily wear. It's perfect for that "makeup without makeup" look.
Its lightweight, and quite a thin consistency but gives a medium coverage so your skin still looks like skin, and it's buildable if you need more coverage in areas.
The dropper applicator allows me to apply it directly to my face so there's no mess, and it's super quick for those busy mornings.
Tips: I apply the foundation directly to my face using the applicator and blend using a damp sponge.
