L’Oréal True Match Plumping Tinted Serum (vault shade 'medium')

Ok the formula is lovely and silky just glides on. Coverage is light to medium but it looks nice on the skin. I like the applicator dropper too. This is my daily go to now. If going out for a special occasion I’ll wear something more full coverage but otherwise this one is great.

I have now been using this for three bottles. I have alwasy been a L'Oreal foundation fan and was previously using the True Match foundation. This one is a lot thinner. It does have less coverage but it does not sit in your creases so much. It also leaves an ever so slightly dewey finish which looks more natural and youthful. The only thing I don't really like is the dropper as it doesn't seem to pick up the foundation once the jar only has 1/3 left. This makes getting it out quite messy. I still buy it anyway!

This is my go to during the summer but still looks amazing the colder seasons! It's very hydrating and has a natural skin like coverage. I love that its a skincare and makeup hybrid and it makes my skin look hydrated and plump while minimising my redness and lasts all day. The only thing I don't like is the shade range isn't that great, The lightest shade was way to light for me that I had to mix a darker foundation to get it to my shade and the one up from that was too dark and it looked way too noticeable I was wearing makeup. But the formulation is great!

It comes in a standard glass bottle with a kind of dropper top. The kind where you roll the product off the dropper onto your skin instead of squeezing it out. It's a bit messy.

The shade is 3-4 Light -Medium which I thought would be good for my pale skin. It is a slightly orange but not so much to be a deal breaker. It is also thinner than I would usually expect from a product of this type, but that is also not an issue as it doesn't apply too thinly on my skin. I apply it with a beauty blender and that works well.

I've been wearing it to work every day and like that it is light, natural, and easy to use. When I take the time to apply to evenly and carefully, it looks nice and gives my complexion a lift. Disclaimer though - I still use concealer on the blotchy parts of my skin as it is quite blotchy/uneven at the moment. The product doesn't dry my skin or irritate the sensitive areas. It washes off easily at night as well.

This product is $47 at Farmers and $ 42 at The Warehouse. It's a pretty good product but I think I'll stick with a tinted moisturiser for similar results and a quarter of the price. I recommend it to anyone else to try if they're happy with the price as it's only the price that would make me think twice about buying it.

I purchased this thinking I could wear it on the days I don’t want heavy makeup and I was amazed. It blends into skin beautifully and has a light coverage while also leaving my face glowing. I will continue to purchase this for the low makeup days and love how my skin looks and feels wearing it and even afterwards. I have normal/ dryish skin and put it on after my morning skincare and even have tried it without moisturiser and it still looks flawless and isn’t patchy.

The only thing I didn’t like was the dropper. It makes a bit of a mess, I’d much prefer it having a pump. I have had to change a few outfits since it’s more liquidy like a serum and tends to drip if I’m not paying it close attention (my fault not the serum haha).

I’m almost out of my first bottle and have another on the way. Definitely recommend for a light makeup look!

I purchased this from chemist warehouse. I’m really into my skincare, so I thought, on the rare occasion undone wear makeup, it should have skin care in it! Also, I’m not the type of gal that wears foundation by itself - I mix EVERY foundation into my moisturiser, so it’s like a tinted moisturiser, so it needs to be able to mix with my moisturiser.

I love this product because it doesn’t make my skin feel yucky, like I have a tonne of foundation on. Yet, it still provides me with the desired coverage I like. It also does well with my benefit concealer - it blends beautifully over top. I don’t have any scientific proof that the 1% hyaluronic acid is working, but I like to think that it is :) This product also mixes so good with my moisturiser and sunscreen that I use! So I am a very happy gal.

I thought I would never veer away from my good old Revlon Colour Stay foundation but I have with this tinted serum. I initially just purchased this as something to wear in the weekends, like a tinted moisturiser, however this sits so well on my skin that it is now what I wear instead of a foundation. My skin was getting quite dry and the odd wrinkles and lines are starting to show and this serum just literally glides on, does not emphasise lines or wrinkles and sits perfectly on your skin, you can build it up depending on what coverage you want and I set it with a powder if needed for the day and it lasts so well. This is an amazing product for the price! The only negative is the dropper, it is a bit annoying to use and very messy, however that is the only negative!!

This Serum/foundation/ tinted moisturiser hybrid goes on a liquid but dries down in to a powder with enough coverage that it hides the redness or blemishes and takes away the harshness of my under eye circles. But is light enough that it doesn’t feel caked or dry you out lasts my 8-10 hr shifts in customer service and doesn’t settle into fine lines! I put it on top on my sunscreen after all my skincare and lasts all day! Powers and cremes go and sit well on top and no need for a powder to set as it dries down nicely
