I liked this bronzer, but I do prefer a matte finish so this one had just a little too much sparkle for me. In saying that, this bronzer works great with my green undertones and looks very natural.

This bronzer is my go-to, as it has a really easy formula to build and blend in. I use the golden shade, which matches my lighter skin perfectly, leaving me with a sunkissed (not too heavy) look.
This is my go-to everyday bronzer, I use it to bronze up the face on the cheekbones, temples and jaw line. This color suits my medium (to deep, I am a NC40) skin tone. I find the product really buildable and is perfect for everyday natural make up. It has a a fine golden shimmer that can pick up in the sunlight but it is subtle enough it is not overly shimmery on the face.
I am halfway through my second Mac Bronzer in the shade Golden. This was my first bronzer purchase and I got it at duty free a few years ago and is my staple bronzer in my makeup collection. I wouldn't recommend this for contouring, I don't usually wear blush I just use bronzer to give me some colour. The packaging is nice and compact with a mirror inside, perfect for traveling.
Tips: I use my real techniques duo-fibre powder brush to apply this, I think it picks up the product nicely and allows you to build up the product on your face without applying too much the first go.
I am fair to medium skin tone (depending on the time of year) and use this as my every day bronzer. I find it subtle enough to be easily built up to my desired bronze goals. I never have had an issue with applying too much accidentally as it blends out flawlessly. Quite warm based so keep that in mind when purchasing
Tips: Use a big fluffy brush to avoid over-applying and to diffuse for a natural look.
Every girl should own a great bronzer for contouring as well as a little bit of a glow! Brought the Mac Matte Bronzer in their shop after the sales assistant recommended it with my go-to foundation. I think it's just an all rounder - easy application and great colour. At $48 it's not too expensive either for the quality you're getting - just my opinion!
Tips: Start with less and then build up - I'm quite pale so always find less is more
I have only ever bought one bronzer previously and it lasted me years. So when it came time to buy a new one, and after hearing so many ladies rave on about MAC I just knew I had to try it. I wish I’d known before now that there is both a matte and shimmer type. I bought a shimmer bronzer without realising, and although it isn’t too bad, I would definitely prefer the matte.
I have such fair skin and find it hard sometimes to find a bronzer that isn’t too dark and blends well. I’m glad to say that this bronzer is perfect for my skin tone. I only use a small amount to dust over my mineral foundation to give it a nice glow. I’m not 100% convinced on the price value, but I’ll have to reserve my judgement to see how long it lasts.
It comes in a nice sturdy black compact with mirror which I like. Too many of my current powders have the clear plastic twist top and crack easily.
Really like the easy way it goes on. Only need a small amount to blend and contour but stays on all day and does not make skin feel dry.
Tips: Use sparingly.
This bronzer is one that I use all year round and that's what I love in a bronzer. It's the perfect shade for me and I love the fact that its buildable so I can create a more intense contour and bronzed look. I have a tan complexion and believe that this is a perfect match for me. I'll definitely continue to repurchase!
I've recently changed to using MAC brand makeup. To be honest although this is a lovely product I don't love it- I've definitely used better. I find it too shimmery to use during the day and I don't find the particles small enough therefore my brush (good quality brush) picks up too much powder and its easy to accidentally over do it. In saying that, when applied with a bit of care and precision a beautiful sun kissed look can be achieved.
Tips: Use a quality brush and tap off any excess powder before applying
I have 'matte bronze'. Would definitely recommend this matte bronzer for any pale girls just starting out with bronzing. It's hard to overdo but has just the right amount of pigment so it doesn't take forever to build up.
I can't comment on whether or not there are better drug store bronzers available. I just find that this is a pretty flattering tone and does exactly what it should do.
Tips: I also like blending a bit of the bronzer into my crease on 'no make-up' make-up days.
