Revlon Photoready BB Cream Review

I bought this BB cream as part of the Revlon Makeup Amnesty and I'm glad that I didn't have to pay full price for it. I've been using it for about a week, I wanted to give it a fair chance, but this morning was the last straw and I gave up.

It didn't blend well at all, I felt like I was just pushing it around on my face and it would gather in weird layers around my nose and upper lip. When I tried to blend by rubbing a little harder with my fingers, it stuck more to my fingers than my face! Perhaps I needed to put some primer on first... but the absence of primer is the beauty of a BB cream, right?!

It comes out pretty thickly, which should have given me a clue - it made my skin look shiny and oily. Sometimes I'll wear a BB cream and not bother to follow up with a powder, but with this one I definitely needed to undo all of the damage and completely cover my face in powder.

No complaints about smell or packaging.

This is my first BB cream I've used and my thoughts were it's Revlon it's gotten be good. But a nah on a application instantly skin feels and looks Shiney and seems like I need to put primer on but being new to BB cream I thought it was meant to be more a moisturizer. How this got me wrong. It's more like a foundation that needs tl be applied with tools and not your hands. I put it on top of my moisturizer which could be the reason why it's oily looking. I do like the colour match I just wish I didn't have to put so much work into application . The bottle is so so and it looks as if there's a lot of product to last my summer. There is no unpleasant smell from this product.

I purchased this BB cream a few months ago and have given it a number of tries but have decided it is not for me. I found the formula far too thick (thicker than many foundations) which makes it hard to put on and blend out. I liked the coverage but found the product doesn't last on my face and I end up looking the way I do without any make up.

I picked this up recently at Farmers for $30 as I was on the hunt for a fabulous new BB cream. Sadly this was not it.

I got the light/medium shade which seemed right for me at the shop, but actually turned out to be slightly too dark - I should have gone with the lightest shade.

I find that the product is quite strange when I apply it, it is quite thick and does not absorb or blend very well at all. It seems to more sit on top of my skin and when I try to blend it in it seems to just get pushed around.

It also made my skin quite oily which is uncommon for me as my skin tends to be more dry.

Overall I am disappointed with this product and wish I had not paid full price for it.

My daughter and beauty assistant at my pharmacy recommended I try Revlon BB Cream as a light foundation for everyday use. The packaging is convenient for putting in my bag for top ups during the day but is still a generous size for the price as a little goes a long way. The cream itself is light and non greasy with decent coverage and SPF which is essential as my teaching job involves a lot of outdoor work. Application with a sponge is easy although you can use your fingers if you want. There are a variety of colours meaning you can switch easily as your tan fades. I find this product great for mature skin and does not go shiny during the day. My colleagues at school noticed the coverage and inquired as to what I was using. I will definitely purchase this product again.

Brought this a while ago, loved the fact that I had such a high SPF. left it in my bathroom and a week after I started using it it separated into a a oily layer and a thick lumpy cream layer. overall extremely disappointed with this product and will definitely not be buying again!!

Not a great product, wouldn't recommend. The liquid started becoming runny and I was kind of scared to use it on my face, not for anyone with sensitive skin or skin prone to acne. Doesn't hide blemishes or provide minimum coverage. Could use as a base and not too sure if its photoready?

Am a BB cream lover from way back. I thought that I'd try this one and Ibwas sadly disappointed. The packaging looked good, the price was reasonable and I was feeling generous. I wish I'd tried a tester first as it is very runny and all day felt oily on my skin. My mascara stuck to it and smudged etc and it just wasn't the nicest product. I hate giving a not so nice review but this just didn't satisfy me. I'll try something else.

Buttttt.... For what it is firstly it is extremely overpriced for what it is It feels thick on, thicker than i even like my foundations to be. And it oxidizes.. So it looks great give it 10 minutes and you look like you got spray tanned-three times, lol It also had a really unappealing smell.. I feel sad that i can't get through this product because for the price I would have liked to. But Hey what works for some.

I was given this by a friend who got 2 of them in a clearance sale,I got it in medium and found it was very oily,I shook the tube first but the product came out with a coating of oil over it,I shook it again and when I applied the bb cream it sort of took abit to stay on my skin,the medium shade when built up was too dark,I am glad I never paid for it,it was a disapointment,the good thing about it was the tube it was in
