Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Nude Review

I like this product a lot. I am a regular Garnier BB cream user, alternating between light and medium through the seasons. I was so sceptical when this product arrived and it is white. But it really does what it says it will do, it goes on white and adjusts to your skin tone. You can see it change colour as you apply it. For work days 2 layers gives me the coverage I want, weekends I am happy to go with 1 layer. Will definitely be purchasing this product.

I was skeptical on this product and wasn't quite sure how it would work but it did. I tried it for the first time and made a mistake and treated it like a foundation so added powder on top, wrong move. It made it patchy and cakey. I took it off and reapplied just like a moisturiser and wow it was great. It didn't cover my imperfections it just gave me a more of a glow and a smoother complexion. I now use it on the days I don't wear makeup with abit of mascara and it just lifts me up. Great when I'm on the go with a busy toddler. Definitely reccomend this product and will be using it regularly.

This BB Cream is great. I love that it has SPF in it, making me feel safe for the morning route to work. Smells nice and glides on smoothly.

Great product to help with my face which is redder in some patches and some uneven skin tone. It helped balance out and I could wear it everyday all day. It was smooth and easy to put on with my fingers. Would certainly wear again!

I bought a tube of Garnier Nude Effect BB Cream, even though I wasn't really a huge fan of the last Garnier BB Cream I used, which was their Anti-Ageing BB Cream, back in July 2016.  I found the Anti-Ageing one to be very greasy on my naturally oily skin, so I was very hesitant to try another Garnier BB Cream.

I'd read so many reviews on this Nude Effect BB Cream before finally purchasing a tube for myself.  Honestly, I wasn't expecting much from it, considering my past two experiences with Garnier's BB Creams, and all the reviews were very conflicting.  Some said it was greasy, others loved it; some said it was orange, others said it blended perfectly with their skin tones; and some said the smell was overpowering, while others didn't even comment on the scent.

I have to admit, after trying it for myself, this is one of the better BB Creams I've tried from Garnier, and I'm actually considering getting another tube, which says a lot!  This Nude Effect BB Cream lives up to all its promises on the box, and it doesn't have the greasy sit-on-the-skin feel that the others have had.

Firstly, a little more about the product.  The info on the box says, "The secret to perfect skin in one simple step.  Discover the secret to naturally perfect skin with new Garnier BB Nude Effect.  Self-adjusting mineral pigments adjust to match your skin tone for an effortless healthy glow.  The lightweight formula provides instant natural coverage, without the feeling of wearing any make-up."

When squeezed out of the tube and rubbed between the fingertips, the white textured cream containing a universal shade of mineral pigments begins to transform to a skin matching tone.  It's great to use on days when I have an early start and don't really have the time to apply separate layers of moisturiser, sunscreen, primer and foundation.  I simply apply the BB Cream and I'm all set to pop the rest of my make-up on.

Yes, the coverage is light, but it does even out skin tone, and I find that with a small pearl sized amount (slightly bigger than a pea), I get the perfect amount of coverage with out being too sheer.  If I use too much product, it can start to look a little orange.  This was the only trial and error during the first few days of use - figuring out exactly how much was perfect for my skin and the coverage I wanted.

It leaves my skin glowing and hydrated, it helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and pigmentation marks, as well as other little imperfections.  The built-in SPF15 protects skin from UV rays, while still being lightweight and allowing skin to breathe.

I received this as a substitute in one of my beauty hauls from the vault and ive been pleasantly surprised. I like the fact its the same Garnier tube, good size and a nice creamy constancy and scent. It comes out white and then as you rub it on your skin it changes colour. I find it blends in easily and gives a nude coverage, just really evens out your skin tone in my opinion. I like the fact it has added sun protection and its easy to apply. Its nice and light. Perfect for quick routines.

I came across this in the supermarket. I haven't used a bb cream before as always have always used a foundation but having done quite a bit of work from home and not wanted to wear full make up, I have found this product great. It feels soft on the he skin without the heavy makeup feel and is great if you are wanting a light coverage

The first thing that struck me about this product was the scent, really nice and fresh. The coverage was perfect for a BB cream, sheer, but not to much so, with good coverage. Easy application, and it lasted well, even in the very humid Auckland February weather.

I've tried the original Garnier BB creams. In fact, it was my first foray into wearing foundation and was my go-to throughout uni. This cream is very similar. It has the same sort of packaging but I think this one is a bit pricier. The main reason is because this product comes out white, but blends nicely to a nude shade when you apply it. In terms of coverage, it does what it claims - lightweight and natural. I can still see a few of my uneven skintone underneath, but it's more uniform. Consistency is about the same as a moisturiser, so points there again. I've not noticed any extra luminosity or glow, however, but the product does sit on my skin with a slightly oily/sticky sheen. Two things I don't like is the smell. It's got added fragrance so not the best for my sensitive skin (although my skin seems fine accepting it). Quite perfume-y. Another aspect is that it's only SPF 15, which, in New Zealand, is the bare minimum I'd wear on a cloudy winter's day. For summer, I like that this is lightweight and a BB cream, but not idea for sun protection. Overall, will use up the bottle. It's reliable, but nothing amazing.
