This was the first ever BB cream I tried, and it was an absolute let down. This does not prime. It does not make the skin smooth, even and ready for make-up. I tried this as a primer after it failed as a BB cream, and it just did not do any favours - it just made my whole make-up application patchy and uneven. This does not moisturise. It accentuated my dry patches, and left my skin feeling dry and flaky. It does not minimize pores. It did absolutely nothing to my pores. It certainly doesn't conceal, it didn't do a thing to my dark circles or my redness. You may have guessed it, but it does not cover. Is cover not the same thing as conceal anyway? As I have already covered, it does not smooth. Again, is this not the same thing as 'priming' and 'minimizing pores'? I guess you could say it mattified - if mattifying means ' making my skin look cakey' and 'clinging to dry patches'. It does not brighten. Not even in the slightest. The one redeeming thing about this foundation is that yes, it did protect. I can say that I have never been sunburnt whist trying this BB cream. The "Lightweight ultra comfortable formula" was not comfortable, I wasn't even aware a foundation could feel so drying! This stuff also has the weirdest colour you have ever seen, the 'light' shade is pretty far from light. It also oxidises like there is no tomorrow, so I guess it could be a 'flawless, 100% natural finish" if you are an Oompa Loompa with incredibly oily skin and the tiniest pores. My tinted moisturiser did a better job than this. 160% do not recommend!

Tips: Don't use it!
I would usually choose a med shade in bb creams but this was far to dark for me, product was super oily and patchy and didn't last the whole day. wouldn't recommend for anyone with oily or oily combo skin!
This product made my face look like an orange oompa lumpa. It was sticky and hard to wash off. Had to throw it away and would not purchase again.
Tips: Buy something else
I love a good BB cream, I wear it every single day. I've not found my holy grail yet but pretty close to. This claims to have a lot of benefits so has a lot to live up to.
I have pale skin so am always the light shade in BB cream. I always prep my skin well before applying. I either like to use my RT sponge or just apply with my fingers.
This goes on really nice and is a lovely texture. It makes my skin look beautiful! The biggest problem being it is soooooo orange looking.....ugh why!
The main issue I have with some BB creams is they go orange. It's such a shame when the product itself is really nice. So I recommend trying it out in store and letting it sit on your skin for a while to see what happens.
The consistency was so thick and I mainly used it as sunscreen. For how thick it was it didn't conceal well and it was leaving my skin looking pink . It felt like oil on my skin so i had to set it with a foundation powder.
I love my BB creams and love to explore new ones but this one was really a disappointment. This product dries too fast and made application very difficult. It dried almost instantly leaving my face looking cakey and blotchy which a BB cream shouldn't. I bought the lightest shade and even then it was too dark for me. Over all this product left me feeling unsatisfied.
I am a HUGE Rimmel fan. It is my go to makeup brand I have pretty much loved everything I have tried but not this. I tried so hard to like it but I just couldn't.
First of all the lightest colour is to orange for my skin tone so it looks like it has oxidised on my skin. They have quite a limited colour range. If I'm really desperate I can make it work if I have the time to blend it in really well and slowly build up the coverage. I'm not one to just throw out a product I do try to make it work. I do like the finish though, it makes me look nice and dewy.
It also doesn't really have the lasting power on my skin and can really only be worn out to run errands because it just turns my face into an oil slick and rubs off even if I haven't touched my face. Even my family have commented on this which makes me feel even less enthused to wear it if other people can noticeably see my make up is coming off and looks orange!
I wish I could use this product as Rimmel is such a great brand and definitely one of my faves but this product just did not work for me at all so would not buy again.
Tips: Priming and setting will be your best friend with this product!
Going to get straight to the point with this one as it's orangey and no one wants that! There's nothing more disappointing when you get new a BB cream or foundation than to find that it has an orangey pigment to it.. The shade I got this BB cream in is medium.. Perhaps the light shade doesn't have that problem? I don't know, but I can manage to make this BB cream work, by buffing lashings of translucent powder over top of it. I can actually get it looking quite nice by doing this, as there's nothing wrong with the consistency of the BB cream, it applies nicely and smoothes the appearance of my skin as any BB cream should.
Another way I can make use of it is using it as a primer for a foundation that's a tad light.. If you're like me and always trying different foundations, you might end up with some that are too light, some that are too dark.. In this case you might find this BB cream usable as a primer to balance out a foundation that's a bit light for your skin tone.
Although i've managed to make use of this BB cream, I'd have to strongly advise against anyone considering purchasing it!
This BB cream foundation is very hydrating, a good primer and the added sunscreen makes it a great everyday foundation for a very light coverage for dry-normal skin types. It has a light feeling to it and gives a natural, dewy glow. Not great long wear for oily skin types and accentuates shine because of the sunscreen. I found this product hard to set also because of the added sunscreen. Doesn't have the coverage, matte finish or pore concealment I was expecting so if those are features you want then this isn't the foundation for you.
Tips: If you don't like the scent of sunscreen then maybe steer clear of this product. Applies great with any applicator.
I found this more a foundation rather than a BB cream. I had tried 2 other BB creams and liked them, so thought I would try this as the price was so good. I have only used twice and will not continue to use, so was better off staying with the higher priced ones. I have dry skin, and only like a light cover, so may suit people with normal to oily, or wanting better cover for a BB cream
