Revitanail by Manicare Nail Strengthener Review

This trail came at the right time for me due to my nails being in a really bad condition due to recent gel polish. My nails were flaking, cracking and breaking.

After the first week of applying everyday when I removed the polish I noticed that my nails were alot smoother than at the beginning. I completed the 3 week program which is apply 2 coats on the first day then 1 coat everyday for 5 days and on the 7th day remove and start over again. I have definitely seen an improvement in the condition of my nails, they are alot smoother and not cracking. Nicely packaged and a great sized bottle that will last quite awhile. This product was easy to apply and was a great consistency, quite a strong smell which was a bit stronger than normal nail polish. It is a clear polish and nails looked good all day. I liked that it dried very fast so didn't have to worry about having to sit still for too long.

I was excited when I was selected to trial this, as I was starting to grow out my nails again, and they had started peeling and generally feeling weak. The bottle is pretty large, so it would last a fair while, which makes it worth the money! The bottle is rectangular shaped and it was easy to screw and unscrew the lid. The brush is nice and long which made applying the formula super easy! The consistency is on the runny and thinner side, but this made it really easy to apply, it just glides on, and dries super fast. I was worried that it would be a hassle to apply this everyday for about a week, however because it was so easy to apply and dried really quickly, this was not an issue. I did manage to remember to apply it everyday for the required amount of time, however I don’t think it would do anything serious if you skipped a day or something. It made my nails look naturally shiny and healthy, which I liked. I did find that my nails are a lot stronger after using this! The peeling didn’t improve, however my nails are now quite long and I haven’t had them split, break and I haven’t had any new peeling. They also felt really strong and healthy, when I would test the strength, they were really strong! They have never felt stronger. I also tried applying this under my nail polish, which worked a treat! My nails felt great, and even after removing the nail polish, my nails still felt great. One of the things I don’t like, however, is the smell. Basically all nail polish smells, it’s a give in, however I felt this was on the stronger side. Applying this in a larger room or one that is well ventilated may help. Overall, I think this product has strengthened my nails. They feel stronger and healthier and I am having no trouble growing them out. I do think that this is also worth the money, as 30mL is quite a large bottle, it will go a long way.

This strengthener is simple and easy to apply. To use you need to apply 2 coats onto clean nails and then one coat daily for 5 days. On the 7th day you need to remove with nail varnish remover and then repeat for 3 more weeks. I did have to set the same time every day to apply so I didn't forget to apply.

I found the strengthener nice and easy to use and found it dried within about 2 minutes so I could apply and use my fingers quite quickly afterwards without the polish running. I really like the way the strengthener looked like a top coat and made my nails really shining.

I had previously had gel nails and stupidly (and unfortunately for my nails) decided to pick it off when it started to peel. Most of my nails were heavily damaged and I found that although the strengthener didn't stop them breaking off when they grew out, it did help protect them and make them look more attractive!

I clean quite a lot and this strengthener really did help to protect my nails for chemicals and wear and tear. I would definitely recommend for those with nails that crack and break a lot.

Thank you beauty review for allowing me to trial these products. I have always had dry flaky cuticles and my nails are always brittle and weak they break went once they get to a certain length so this was a great product for me to trial full stop

The packaging is nothing fancy but I liked the brush as I felt it was slightly bigger than a normal nail polish brush. The consistency is them and the colour is like an off white?

The directions are apply two coats on to clean nails then one coat daily for the next 5 days. On the seventh day remove the nail polish from your nails and repeat the process three more times. Allow your nails to rest for one to two weeks in between. Simple clear easy to follow instructions.

My nails are now at the length where they would normally start breaking but so far so good. I feel that the nail Strengthener and her has definitely worked but the only thing I don't like about it is that after a few applications the nail strengthener starts to chip off and your nails can look quite dirty looking due to the colour of the nail Strengthener.

All-in-all I do feel this is a really good product and I definitely will continue to use it and recommend it to people who have brittle nails.

This has quite a strong nail polish smell.

You get a lot of product for price! A little goes a long way and it’s super easy to apply (just like a regular nail polish)

I noticed that the strength in my nails improved. They didn’t break or tear quite as often and they felt a little firmer when I bent them.

I would use this again just to keep up the condition of my nails

My nails have always been weak and over the past few years graduated to flaky, so I was very happy to be part of this trial.

The Nail Strengthener is a thick cloudy polish which glides on very well and dries quickly. It doesn't small much compared to normal polish. I like that it has 2 small balls in the bottle to help mix it up if you ever need to. After a month of use I've barely made a dent in the amount of product too!

I have been using the strengthener for 4 weeks now and I am very happy with the results. My nails are stronger (to different degrees which was strange). After 3 weeks I thought most of the cracking had gone away, but unfortunately this past week it has happened again on 3 of my nails, but to nowhere near the extent it used to. The biggest difference for me is my ability to shape my nails now. Rather than just having to tidy up breakages I can cut/shape them how I like. I have also tried normal polish over the strengthener and the polish lasted so much longer!!

I'm a bit skeptical still of whether my nails are this strong on their own, rather than just with layers of strengthener on them. But to be honest, I'm not too worried about that, as this is a product I'll happily keep using as a normal everyday wear.

Love the strengthener. You put two coats on the first day then one coat for the next six. It gave my nails a pearlish slightly French manicure look. But after about day four they started looking a bit dirty. They go together with the oil which you rub in after you have applied the strengthener. Once removed I noticed that my nails were looking and feeling good and they haves stayed like that. I will continue using it and buy it when I run out!

I have been using this for around three weeks now and I have noticed a pretty big difference is the strength of my nails!

Before they were very weak and always breaking. Now they are very strong and do not have to worry about the ends breaking. They have stopped at a certain length and don't seem to be growing any longer, but I am hoping in time they will keep growing.

I used this every day, first day applying two coats, then one coat every day after. Every week, this needs to be taken off with nail polish remover to give the nails a bit of a break. Then the next day repeat the cycle.

I would recommend this to anyone that has weak brittle nails.

I was very impressed with this product combination. They worked great together and I noticed my nails grew longer and stronger than they ever have before. The strengthener was great however I found that the instructions suggested too many layers for my nails, on day 4 the police started to peak off, so I just started again. The cuticle oil was great too, very subtle smell which left my nail beds feeling moisturised and absorbed quickly. I used this 2-3 times a week.
