Maybelline Express Finish Nail Polish

I have had many of these over the years. The colour range has always been awesome, great selection of modern colours. The quality of the polish I found to be quite average, like it was quite thin and needed two-three coats to get it quite even and streak-less. I found it to have an average to good drying time, probably a bit more than 50 seconds though.

I didn't find it lasted very well on my nails, but then again not many nail polishes do. I would probably re-purchase only for the good colour the range offers.

I have an active toddler who doesn't sleep much, so I need a quick drying nail polish just in case I have to drop what I'm doing and run! This is the fastest drying polish I've tried and yes, it did dry within 50 seconds, even with two coats. It goes on easily and gives a smooth, shiny finish and has a great range of colours at a reasonable price. Lasts without chipping for a couple of days with my workload e.g. housework, toddler, etc. I just love that I can use this and go, without having to set aside specific time to paint and dry my nails.

This polish provides a really nice finish and has some really delicious colours. It definitely dries fast which is good when you want to add some embellishments on top!

I purchased this from Postie plus a while back and ever since it has been my favourite nail polish! It definitely dries a lot quicker than my other polishes, and I love the colour range! Currently I just have this polish in the shade 'pink shock' but it's such a lovely shade of pink, probably one of my favorites by maybelline. I find myself quite often thinking my nails are dry with this polish, and then accidently smudging them on my clothes or something else :(

Waiting for my painted nails to dry was the most boring task ever because if it wasn't dried completely, it may smudge and go all over the place. Maybelline Express Nail polish is my go to whenever I'm in a hurry as it dries out really quickly and I can get on with my daily task. It comes in a wide range of color selections and the color pay off is extremely good. The greatest thing is that the polish stays on and doesn't chipped for at least two weeks. Painting my nails has become a breeze after discovering this amazing product.

I am just beginning to really get in to nail polish and the Maybelline Express Finish Nail Polish was the first quality polish I ever bought in the shade 'pink shock'. I am a sucker for quick drying polishes because life is too short to sit and wait for polish to dry. It really does dry fast, but not in 50 seconds like it says. It dries in under two minutes though. To me dry means touchable and not going to smudge from an accidental bump. This under two minutes dry time surpasses any other fast drying polish I own.

I love the advice of putting a clear coat on before applying polish to prevent yellow nails. I have found in the past that my nails turn yellow after taking off my nail polishes so this is a real winner for me. It told me something I never knew and saves my nails from looking like smokers nails eeww.

The stay power isn't that great because after two days I see chips appearing which means I have to reapply more. I find three coats helps maintain the stay power. It says that one swipe gets the whole nail. That is not true, I find myself having to swipe over three or four times to get the entire nail.

In summary, it is a great polish with limited stay power, but fast drying. It comes in such a big variety of colours which make a statement and keep my nails on point. The consistency is a bit thin so at least three coats is a must to get the true colour on your nails. I think it's worth the money personally though.

One of the first high end nail polishes i bought and it was true to its claim of quick drying, i was even able to coat my young daughter who wont sit still overly long for it to dry and she managed to have it dry well before she wanted to move onto something else! I didnt do the base coat and didnt find any yellowing to my nails on removal. I do however always top coat my nail polishes to help wear and this lasted quite a while before starting to chip.

This is a great nail polish! I have used the colour Timeless Pink, a gorgeous shimmery peachy pink. I'm not too sure about the 50 seconds claim, but this polish does dry quite fast and lasts really well.

I have a purple shade and a clear top coat and they do dry reasonably quick. I usually do 2 coats of the colour one so the second coat does take longer to dry then the 50 seconds. I've had the colour one for probably at least 5 years and it still is runny and looks good on, so these last pretty well! The clear top coat gives a nice finish but it does take longer then 50 seconds to dry probably because of what is underneath, I've never just worn clear by itself. I do get chips quite quickly with this though, it seems to last a lot better on my toes. Pretty much till it grows out rather then wears off.

I had this nail polish in a nude/peachy colour and received it from someone so didn't know the colours available. The nail polish required a lot of coats to achieve the colour and an even texture. I was disappointed in the product due to the fact that it cracked very easily which then led to the polish chipping, which may have been caused because of the amount of layers needed to achieve the look. The nail polish did dry quickly, with the first layer definitely drying within 50 seconds but from then on, every layer took slightly longer and moistened the layer beneath it (extending the time required for drying). The colour itself was a lovely peachy colour but after a while, it began to yellow possibly because I don't use a base coat underneath.
