Maybelline Express Finish Nail Polish

I always seem to do my nails right before bedtime and then I wake up with textured nails (cringe). I love that these polishes have a quick drying time - Who has the time to wait around for nails to dry?? Although the drying time I've found is over a minute long, they still dry faster than your average polish. A winner in my books! I have about a dozen of these beauties - Pity about the colour range.

I brought a beautiful limited addition Cobalt Blue 2 days ago. The first coat dried super quick, I needed a second coat to obtain the darkness that I wanted and that coat dried quick too. I did not have any issues with smudges at all which is a new thing for me! I have had this colour on for 2 days now and only have one tiny chip which only occurred after i tripped and smashed my fingers against the deck lol I did not use a top coat as I like to test me new polishes out without a top coat first to see how long it will take to chip. I will defiantly buy more as I so far very happy with my experience with Maybelline Express Finish. Would recommend as well :)

Loooove this nail polish!!! Dries super fast which is handy when I'm running around after a toddler and caring for my newborn. Seems to last a lot longer before it starts chipping. Gorgeous colors too

I use to use this colour for a long time. I found that I had lots of comments regarding the colour and I can not get it any more. It's sad when you get to like a product and then they take it away from you. If anyone knows where I can get this colour please let me know. It has a lovely sparkle to it.

I have this in many different colours and am quite impressed. It does dry much quicker than other polishes however it is definitely longer than 50 seconds. It goes on easily, and its chip rate is about the same if not marginally better than most other brands.

I was lucky enough to receive this in a parcel from a friend. The Mocha Blast shade is a great deep burgundy red, almost black which I really love.

The bottle is a glass bottom with a grey top. The lid is quite short so it makes it hard to hold onto when using it. The brush itself is quite thin and flat. I find it quite difficult to use as it doesn't spread on the nail. That means that I end up doing more passes on the nail to get the colour across. It does dry quite quickly though which is a plus, especially when I needed to do three or so coats. The finish is quite glossy which is great. I don't know if the 50 second claim is completely true but I do think it is super quick compared to some of my other products (heres looking at you OPI). I'm a lot more impressed with this than I thought I would be.

The lasting power of this is pretty good. It lasted on me around three days until I started to notice wear on the tips, this was without top coat which I thought was pretty impressive.

If I saw a good deal on these I would be tempted to buy more!

I quite like the Maybelline Express range, with their clear base & top coat as my favourite go-to nail polish. It works under and over any other polish brand, and even looks nice on its own, but it certainly takes more than 50 secs to dry.

Taking into account base coat, two colour coats and a top coat, I'm looking at 30 mins or more to apply, but I do get a good two weeks or more of wear from this.

True to its name, this polish dries very fast. Application is easy. It lasts a decent time on the nail before getting badly chipped.

I have a couple of these polishes and i found they dried in about a minute, which was impressive, colour wasn't too bad either, didnt need 3 coats like a lot of other polishes. Hoping to try some more colours soon and see what they are like.
