I wouldn't say...

that is dries in 50 seconds. It does dry a lot quicker than most polishes on the market but I did not dry in under a minute. If applying 2 coats then I would still wait half an hour before using your hands otherwise you may still end up with smudges or imprint lines from things like I did. The colour ranges are good & over all it's not a bad range of polishes.

Tips: the fast drying only really applies if you are doing one coat of polish.

Average Nail Enamel

I have a few colours out of this range and I say that they are quite average. yes they did dry fairly quickly which is great but I personally needed at least 3 layers for it to not have looked like a transparent colour. Some colours were better than other but when wanting a nice colour on the go this wouldn't be an enamel I want to use as it takes time to get the colour build up. chipped fairly quickly also otherwise i found you were able to peel it off which results in damaging the nail plate. I would still use it again when having time to do my nails but as stated before its not a quick on the go. i suppose it was good for the price but can get a lower quality brand that works well if not better.

Tips: Definitely use a base coat which is obvious but I found that my nail plate was slightly stained when i had forgot.

Drys fast but fades fast

This product has two things going for it... the fact it dries fast and the fact that its quite opaque (so only need 1-2 coats). The down side to this product is although its fast trying the nail stays tacky for a while and if you're in a hurry, smudges too easily. Also, it last about 1 day on my nails, chipping away without doing much, if I've put on a top coat, I tend to get 2-3 days out of the polish. If you're in a hurry, this is perfect for you. But, if you want a polish that will last forever try something else.

Quick drying but that's about it

I have this polish in a dark bronze colour. I did find that this polish did dry pretty quickly which was a bonus. However, the "anti chip" quality wasn't there. Within a couple of days my nail polish started chipping and peeling. I did use a base and top coat as well.

This polish was easy to apply, the polish has a thin consistency that applies smoothly on the nail plate. I did find that because it was quite thin that I needed a good 2-3 coats for the colour to be opaque. The brush is nice to use, easy to apply the polish in even strokes down the nail, and I think the bottle is a decent size.

Overall, I did like that this polish dries fast, but based on the fact that it chipped quite easily I will t be repurchasing these polishes. I would recommend spending a bit more a buying Sally Hansen or opi.

Tips: You need about 3 coats to get a decent colour due to the polish being quite thin.

Maybelline Review

This product was a bit of a let down. It does dry extremly fast but is not the smoothest nail polish to apply and when trying to do more than one coat it can end up looking messy and unprofessional. This nail polish does chip quite easily also. If you are looking for a cheap-ish nail polish option and want something for on the go then this is a good alternative. Other wise I would spend the money on a more high-quality nail polish.

Tips: Would recommend putting on a top coat to try and help seal the colour in.

Not bad

I grabbed a couple of these during my last clearance bin rummage $4 each couldn't resist.

My first thought when I began to apply this polish was I don't like this brush, the bristles seem a little stiff & small. I can't get an even first coat without a base coat, this polish formula is a little on the thinnner side and likes a smooth surface to begin with otherwise the first coat is patchy.

This polish does dry really fast, the first coat I find dries in around about 1 minute while a second coat takes a few more minutes to dry. The pigment of these polishes is dense and wear-wise I think it's pretty standard 2-4 days before obvious chipping occurs.

Overall quality I would say this polish is on the better side of average, I wouldn't pay the RRP $12.99 for these but I would grab a few more if I spotted them on sale again.

Tips: Apply a base coat first to ensure smooth application.

Maybelline Express Finish Nail Polish

It definitely dries very quickly, but I feel it's more like a few minutes than just 50 seconds. That said, it's still way quicker than other nail polishes that I use. However I find that it's easier to chip off than other nail polish. If I'm lucky I only need to do a repaint after 2 days. There was once when it chipped after a couple of hours!! So if I use this by itself, then I would do two or even three thin coats. However I would more commonly use this for base and top coat, and use another brand (often OPI) for colour.

Maybelline Express Finish Nail Polish

This is a great nail polish! I have used the colour Timeless Pink, a gorgeous shimmery peachy pink. I'm not too sure about the 50 seconds claim, but this polish does dry quite fast and lasts really well.

Tips: If your nail polish formula ever starts getting old, thick and clumpy, my tip is to add a few drops of nail polish remover to the bottle. Shake it up, and voila! Brand new nail polish again.

Not too bad

I have a purple shade and a clear top coat and they do dry reasonably quick. I usually do 2 coats of the colour one so the second coat does take longer to dry then the 50 seconds. I've had the colour one for probably at least 5 years and it still is runny and looks good on, so these last pretty well! The clear top coat gives a nice finish but it does take longer then 50 seconds to dry probably because of what is underneath, I've never just worn clear by itself. I do get chips quite quickly with this though, it seems to last a lot better on my toes. Pretty much till it grows out rather then wears off.

Slightly longer than expected

I had this nail polish in a nude/peachy colour and received it from someone so didn't know the colours available. The nail polish required a lot of coats to achieve the colour and an even texture. I was disappointed in the product due to the fact that it cracked very easily which then led to the polish chipping, which may have been caused because of the amount of layers needed to achieve the look. The nail polish did dry quickly, with the first layer definitely drying within 50 seconds but from then on, every layer took slightly longer and moistened the layer beneath it (extending the time required for drying). The colour itself was a lovely peachy colour but after a while, it began to yellow possibly because I don't use a base coat underneath.
