Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lip Stain

I have darker lips and sometimes its a bit hard to see the colour I apply on them but these little beauties have fantastic colour pay-off.

I have tried the red in matte (not my shade unfortunately) but the red-brown shade called Adore suits my southeast asian olive skin quite well. This is my shade for work.

It last about 3-4 hours. My lips are quite dry so I normally layer it with a gloss.

First things first, I haven't tried a lip stain before, and after trying the Revlon ones, I'm tempted to try others! I have 'Lovesick' and its a very pigmented, gorgeous shade of pink. I didn't think I would like it as I tend to wear reds or purples, but I LOVE this stuff. It glides on smoothly, and the crayon like tube fits in the hand perfectly so you can easily apply a smooth lining to your lips.

The only thing I don't like about this product is that after a while it feathers and smudges outwards, and because its a stain it looks terrible. That, and the weird 'mint' smell it has to it - its not a smell I've ever smelled before, and its mildly unpleasant. I also slid the entire tube to the top to see how much product was actually in the tube, and its about the length of the lid, rather than the tube itself. Feeling a little ripped off, but it seems like it will last a long time, so the feeling goes away quickly.

I would repurchase this, but after seeing the price in the description, maybe not! I'll finish the one I have first ;-p

I really love how they have such a wide range of colours to suit everyone. They have quite a strong peppermint scent which i personally dont like, but I dont find that it doesn't last all day. They're moisturising and last long as a stain. I don't like the packaging because the cap tends to break and the colour of the packaging isn't the same as the actual product. The price, like everything else in NZ is quite high but I think it's worth it

I always wanted to try this lip stain just because everyone was saying it such a amazing product.

It leaves your lips feeling moisturise and soft. Has a minty kinda taste on your lips which i didnt mind. Easy to apply and theres so many selection of colors to select which is great.

I love this product, go's on smooth and doesnt flake off. Lasts awhile on my lips and didnt budge much when eating and drinking. I got mine for $10 off facebook new, so was very happy. Cute large item, which is great for the handbag.

An odd start, but the smell was kind of strange.. Not bad, but definitely not as nice as it could have been. It lasts a long time which is great, I only need to touch up after a couple of hours. I would love to try different shades to see how they compare. Overall, a great long-wearing lip product :)

One of my favorite everyday lip products to use, I have quite a few of them and love the minty smell and the stain that it leaves for the duration of the day it literally lasts all day. These wonderful lip stains keep lips moisturised and have amazing ability to build layers for more pigmentation looking much like a lipstick. The packaging makes for easy application when in motion, no need for a mirror making it very travel friendly.

I own four of these. I go in and out of liking them and i think it depends on the condition of my lips because slight dryness makes these look terrible buuuut with good lips they last so well and look good as they fade. They do smell of mint and it tingles for a minute on the lips but both of these dissapear in a minute. they have some really vibrant colours and some slightly more sheer ones and i love the vibrant ones the most . Overall good if you want something in between a lipstick and a balm

I bought this the other day off the postie plus website as i have been wanting to try this product for awhile. What attracted me to it was 'lip-stain'. So i went ahead and bought these in 3 different colours.

For starters, the product comes in a jumbo pencil like form, with just a standard plastic lid. Nothing too great but you cant complain really with the price!

It wasn't what i expected it to be at all. For some reason i thought it was more of a matte lipstick rather than a balm. So when i tried the first colour, (light purple, called darling) i was a bit disappointed.

The product does go on great, it moisturizers my lips nicely, making them feel healthy and plump. But the colour doesn't stand out too well at all. It looks more like a faint light purple rather than a 'lip-staining' purple which is quite disappointing.

One thing i did like though, although it does go on lightly, my lips feel smooth for quite a few hours, and even after 4 hours or so you can still see the light purple colour.

I found this to be the same problem with the other colours. Although i have the colour, romantic, as well, this colour tends to stay on a bit longer, but does look tacky after awhile.

Overall, i did have pretty high expectations for this product as i have wanted to try it out for awhile. The product was no where near what i thought it would be, but i do still like this product and i will still most likely wear it on the odd occasion. It is definitely not something you would wear for a night out, but for more going out in the day.

Growing up I always thought lipstick was for adults and never felt old enough to wear it in my lates teens and early 20's. Oh how things have changed now.

I picked up one of these at a make up sale as they seemed less intimidating than actual lipstick. I got so many compliments and went about 3 more. I love their bright colors and easy wear formulae. More like a lip balm than a lipstick.

These were the gateway drug to my lipstick collection. I barely use these anymore as I discovered I prefer matte lipsticks but they were a good starting point form someone who had never experimented with lipstick before.
