Mellow Liquid Lip Paint Review

This lip paint is bloody incredible. I picked this up in the last beauty vault and one thing I love about it is that its vegan and cruelty free. It retails for $20 which I believe is a good price. I have worn this so much and there's tons left. It feels like I haven't put a dent in it.

The product is so creamy and velvety feeling when applied and it smells good too. It has amazing staying power! It lasts for hours and hours on end.

I will defiantly be buying more of these

I was lucky enough to pick this up in the last vault, and it fast became a favorite.

This color is pastel brownish nude tone. I feel that it looks surprisingly glamorous on the lips, I love it and I reach for it a lot when i’m wearing a full face of makeup. It looks really bizzare however, if you’re wearing a very minimal amount of makeup, you gotta go heavy to pull it off.

The packaging is simple, practical and stylish, with a sturdy plastic tube and a traditional, ‘regular’ sized doe-foot applicator.

The consistency is quite creamy, glides on smoothly and dries quickly. It’s not quite opaque, but nearly after a couple of coats. It feels really light on my lips and is non-drying.

Wear wise, touch ups are required after eating, but it seems to cling on reasonably well.

I love this lip paint, this color, and i’m setting my sights on a few more colors from the range.

I don't own pink lipsticks or liquid lipsticks so when this came up in the vault I knew I had to give it ago and step out of my comfort zone.

London is a very rich pink and is quite bright on myself, I don't know how much wear I'll get out of it for myself but have put it aside for when I feel like being a little bold! I however purchased it again for my kit as well for other reasons.

The formula is lightweight, it's not a thick lip paint and apply beautifully to the lip. Drying almost matte but not completely. I find there is some transfer.

It's long wearing! Other than having to re apply it after eating it really lasts the whole day without having to do to much to it at all.

The packaging is beautiful. Simple but elegant. Clear tube so you can see what's in the tube and a gold lid. Standard for foot although I use a brush to apply it.

Other than this just not being my colour I can't fault it. Mellow have done a great job with this shade.

I got this lip paint in the Best Beauty Gamble Ever. I've tried the London shade and found it pretty good, so I was happy to try New York.

This product comes in a clear glass bottle with a gold lid, the same as the London shade, so the product is visible through the glass.

It applies with a soft tip on the end of the wand that connects to the bottle cap. It is easy to apply.

The New York shade is a very loud, deep, plum colour. I love it, but it is incompatible with my skin tone unfortunately. I did try wearing but it completely swamped my pale face. Blotting it as much as I could did help a bit, but not enough for me to wear it in public. Like the other shade, it needs oil to remove it.

All up a pretty good product, but I won’t use it again because the colour is too much for my skin.If I was going to repurchase it, $20 seems a fair price. I like that it applies easily and doesn’t bleed. A good product overall.

I got a lip paint from one of the last beauty vaults. I got London. I was very excited to give this formula a try as I’d seen it all over social media. I’m thankful that Beauty review has given me this opportunity.

Packaging comes in a clear tube you can see the colour of the lip product . Has the metallic gold labelling down the size . This size lip paint is quite large in size beside my other lip paints .

Consistency reminds me of colour pops Ulta Satin lip formula. Is a smooth formula . That settles as a soft lip formula not completely matte .

I find it not long wearing as it fades out with eating and drinking . Colour is quite vibrant to look at . I think price wise it’s could be cheaper. I think $15 mark is fair . I wouldn’t go out and repurchase these.

Initially, I wasn't a fan of Mellow's liquid lip paints, but time, experience and experimentation has changed my mind.

The lip paints come in an elegant gloss-like tube. The applicator is small and has a tapered end, which helps with the accuracy of application.

The formula is a matte one and can be quite drying. It's also reasonably thin which means it is easier to avoid excess product mishaps.

In terms of longevity, this lipstick lasts all day.

At first I used these lip paints everyday, but I found that dried out my lips too much, so I now only use them intermittently.

This lip paint is my go to every day. Onto my 3rd one it’s that good Good selection of colours to choose depending on your mood or clothing colours. I can put it on in the morning before work and it will still be on when I get home. Can’t recommend this product enough

I got this as part of Best Beauty Box Ever "The Nudes" box in Shanghai. It is a touch dark for my taste but a bold neutral. It is beautifully matte and lasts well, although as it says on the pack do not expect it to survive oily food.

The packaging is pretty and application is easy but you need a liner to keep it looking tidy. It is an excellent introduction to a matte lip look and very good value for money.

I recieved this in the latest BR vault but unfortunately I wont be using it again and I gave it to my daughter. I love the packaging, I love the quality and consistency of the product but London is just too pinky for me. I was so looking forward to loving this item but I'm glad that I know what colours to go for next time.

I have been delving in the liquid lipstick range for a little while now. I'm glad to have my hands on this brand. It comes in a sleek tube that has the logo branding in gold writing down the tube with a gold lid which has the doe foot applicator inside it. The shade is a deep brown nude which is nice but more a fall shade since we are now meant to be in spring however I'd still wear it. The application is quite simple & easy ti glides onto the lips not streakh ir sticky at all nor is it pathy. Such a good quality of application. As it sits on the lips it again doesn't have a sticky or slick feeling & having a matte finsih it doesn't seem to suck they hydration from my lips at all. Doesn't feel or show any sign of cracking in the lips. Has very good pigmentation & has a good length of longevity does need to be topped up after greasy meals but would uphold a few drinks of coffee. I'd happily repurchase from this brand again. It isn't a creamy lipstick such as Ofra but definitely a goody.
