Maybelline Colour Sensational Lipstick Review

I was lucky enough to receive this lipstick in the shade 'Vivid Rose' in the September Beauty Box. The shade is pretty much as described, a bright vivid rose! The Beauty Review team did an epic job with my shade, it is my new go to!! I LOVE it!

So, the formula! It goes on beautifully. It is nice and creamy and easy to apply. It feels hydrating and MAN does this stuff last! I am usually a stickler for lip liners under lipstick but this just does not need it. I can drink coffee, eat, go about my day and this lasts hours without any need for touch up.

I have to admit I have not been a huge Maybelline fan in the past but their lipstick lines are killing it!

My only very minor con is the packaging. It has a slightly sheer plastic lid which is indicative of the inside shade - because mine is pink I am not that in to it. I tend to like classic packaging, black, gold etc. Such a minor point though!

I want more shades, I intend to buy them! My favorite item from the beauty box! Oh and one more time, the shade 'Vivid Rose', if you like rosy shades and bright pinks you MUST get this!!

I don't have many lipsticks as I'm kind of just getting into them so when I noticed this in my BRBB I was excited especially when I revieved the nude colour called coffee craze it's so sutttle yet I LOVE it!

First off it comes in a plain Silver tube with a nude transparent cover which gives you a little teaser of the inside colour.

The lipstick itself glides on realy nicely and it lasts very well, I wore this to the races in the weekend and even with me drinking through out the day I only re applyed it once and it still looked great.

I'm looking forward to extending my lipstick range with this Maybelline brand of lippy

This lipstick just does not want to come off my lips! I ate twice with the lipstick on and it hardly came off. I was so impressed with this lipstick and it's a must have in my make up bag!

I absolutely love this lip stick !! I got mine in the nude shade, which was great since i don't own any nudes. The color was great and was very creamy which I personally like. It lasted all day and I didn't even need to touch up after eating.

Fushia Flash is the colour I received in my BRBB & while it is a colour I would probably would not have purchased myself, I LOVE it! Wonderful bright pink, colour goes on easily, feels lovely and smooth and nourishing.

The packaging is lovely, bright case and I can use the reflecting end as a mirror when topping up at my desk. Stays on well.

I received a beautiful nude lipstick (Tantalizing Taupe)n my September Beauty Box and have been obsessed ever since. This was by far my favourite product in the Beauty Box and I'm not usually a Lipstick kind of girl.

Colour Sensational is easily applied, wears long enough for me (4-5 hours including eating and drinking) and is moisturising. What more could you want from a lipstick?

The lipstick also has a soft, sweet scent to it.

I have NEVER bought bright lipstick. I can be a super chicken when it comes to bold make up, and I've just never had the guts.

That changed with the BRBB. I received the Maybelline Colour Sensational lipstick in Fifth Ave Fuchsia, and I may just be a convert. It adds a delicious pop of colour, looking out of place.

The lipstick goes on beautifully, and has great staying power. I wore it to a glitzy awards night last week and only had to reapply once in 4 hours of eating & drinking!

It leaves your lips soft afterwards, and doesn't seem to leave it's mark on hubby too easily.

This BRBB gem surprised me. I received the color 904 Vivid Rose. I would never in a million years choose this colour but I am so grateful that I received this one! I haven't really worn pink in a long, long time and last night I wore a pink dress and thought I'll give this lippy a run. WOW, this pretty glides on so smoothly. I hate wearing bright colors as my lipstick usually goes all wonky around the edges, bleeding etc but not this time. I didn't use a Iip liner because I didn't have a matching one but it wasn't needed, I just popped this one on straight from the tube for a great finish. A highly pigmented, creamy, bright fuschia pink lipstick that lasted through the pre dinner drinks and the entree but needed refreshing after the main meal, only just a little bit. I could always tell which was my glass, spoon and fork due to the transfer of lipstick to everything- not sure if that's a good or bad thing! it didn't smudge on my face at all. It smells really nice. I just used my regular cleanser to take my makeup off and I still needed to do a wipe over with eye and lip make up remover as it has quite some staying power. The next day my lips felt really soft so I'd say that the honey nector is doing its job well. I can't wait to get a few more colours of this range, perhaps a nice red? This lipstick is sensational.
