Maybelline Colour Sensational Lipstick Review

I have a few points to touch on here;

Pros: - The colour payoff is amazing! - They're super creamy and easy to apply - I love that they don't settle into the tiny crevices of my lips. - I think it's great that there's a large colour range because everyone and I mean, EVERYONE can find a shade that they're in love with. - It's affordable.

Cons: - I have a massive, MASSIVE issue with the packaging. I adore that it's rectangular, I think that's incredibly cute. And I know this is a little weird but I love the sound it makes when you close it. I do think that the colours on the packaging are really misleading. What you see is not what you get. I don't think it's the most convenient thing to have to open it in store to see what the colour is actually like because it sucks for people that buy it online. - The smell kind of bothers me. I know people do love the smell, it smells sweet and a little fruity but it's not my thing. - The formula isn't consistent. I have a few of these lipsticks and the shade "Berry Beautiful" is a gorgeous bright purple-y pink berry colour but it doesn't apply evenly. It gets kind of patchy when you layer it. - Because of how creamy it is, it does slip and slide a little bit.

I received one of these as a gift and was a bit thrown. I have the Mango Diamonds no. 445. It has a lovely fruity scent which I was rather impressed with. Not being partial to orange, I was wondering how it would look on me, as it really is a bright colour. Instead, when you apply it, it is much lighter and not nearly as intense as you would expect. So it’s pretty much a wear anywhere, anytime shade. It does contain shine pigments to add some sparkle, so this is not a matt lipstick at all. My verdict - I’ve decided to rethink orange!

I have only tried ONE of these lipsticks.. the '135 Make me pink' and I love it, it is long wear and does not dry out at all... can be worn lightly of thickly either way it looks smashing. Has a vanilla taste to it and glides on delightfully. My fav lipstick of all time.

I love this lipstick! They're beautiful colours that go on smooth and last so long. Even stays on while you eat! They're a reasonable price (around $24) and are the best lipsticks I've tried. They taste and smell yummy too and don't melt in your pocket!!! 10/10!

Pigment is intense and very creamy. But accentuates every line or dry spot on your lips. Last about four hours before you have to top it up.

I love these lipsticks, i own a couple of browny nudes and they are so amazing! Why? the selection of colors is great you have a color to suit everyone and The packaging number 1 is so cute and looks really nice (not cheap) you can fit them easily in a purse of bag and they don't melt! good for a night out! The formula is so creamy, smooth and long acting that it moisturises your lips while giving a really nice pigmentation to them. not only that but you only have to fix it up every couple of hours. Try the product! if you are looking for a value with your money - this is the brand to buy.

I love these lipsticks! They are honestly do pigmented and creamy for a good price! Only have to apply once for opaque colour :) I can go out for the night and it stays on without me having to apply it 10 times especially when I'm eating. Such gorgeous colours that everyone will love! Definitley building up a collection of them :) love love love!

These lipsticks are my go to lippies! I have lost count of how many different colours and finishes I have in my collection! They are creamy and comfortable on the lips. The matte range can be a little drying as most matte lipsticks are, but if applied after exfoliating they are comfortable to wear and long lasting. I have found all shades easy to apply, not neccessarily needing a lipliner.

Packaging is sleek and gorgeous, I love how the packaging varies with all the different collections it makes it easier to find the one your looking for when your deciding which shade to wear.

#045 'Pink Me Up' is my perfect "my lips but better" shade, I have already purchased multiple back ups in case it is discontinued like my previous fav 'Pink please'!

I've wanted this forever, and I was so ecstatic when I received this in the mail, apparently winning it in a competition along with a bunch of other BRAs.

Firstly, the packaging is misleading, what I thought would be a great purple because of the packaging ended up being a nude (which I was thankful for, because I love nudes).

Secondly, the formula is this creamy, buttery consistency, almost like a lip balm/gloss which isn't probably the worst thing, but it came off like nothing on this earth. The staying power is so poor!

It's a shimmery lipstick, but the colour of the nude didn't really show up on my lips or on my mother's when I gave it to her to try as well.

I know a lot of women love this lipstick, but it's just not for me.

I saw so many youtube gurus use these so I really wanted to try them. When I did I wasnt all that impressed. The texture is soft buttery and creamy but the pay of on me is quite sheer for my liking. I prefer it to be really opaque.

Product works well but its just not my cup of tea. Not a fan of frost type lipsticks or any sort of shimmery lipstick so when I used it I wasnt too impressed. I tried to like it but it just wasnt working for me. The packaging is really pretty though so they did really well on that.
