I really like to apply vibrant and bold lip colours so I choose purple shade as it looked so appealing from its packaging. But I am not so happy with the shade that comes on my lips. I tried mixing and experImenting a lot but failed. However, I recently tried Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stain over a candy pink lip shade and it really gives a beautiful natural shade.

Tips: To avoid disappointment always use testers and then decide if you want to purchase a product.
I was really excited to try this product but was not impressed. The smell was quite off putting- a kind of chemically smell and also applied quite gluggily though I usually quite like the doe shaped applicators. This is a range with alot of BRIGHT colours so great if you like this and don't mind the smell as it does stay on for quite a few hours and is not particularly drying
I bought this product a long time ago and now realise why I never use it. I bought it in parisian passion hoping for the deep purple colour on the packaging - but found that in real life it was really hard to achieve that consistent colour. Over time the product got stickier which made it harder to apply too. In the bin it goes.
The colour I have picked was '025 Canne Crush' which has a nice candy coral tone to it. This colour is not too bold but gives a real soft tone up effect on my lips. I quite like how the stain glide nicely when applying. Not too sticky + giving thin moisture layer on the lips (unless your lips are really dry, that is when the stain starts to go into your lip cracks and create obvious lip wrinkles)
I would recommend this lip stain for those who doesn't like to have bold lips but still want to have that slightly groomed lips look. Especially with that price + since Revlon goes on sale quite often, I say give it a try :)
