Australis Colour Inject Mineral Lip Gloss

Another Australis product that I really like! I have this gloss in the shade 'Lambada', which is a baby, almost slightly milky, pink. I find that it has great pigmentation - obviously still sheerer than a lipstick, but not at all like some glosses which look tinted and then show up clear on the lips (pet peeve right here!).

The scent is amazing, I've always thought of it as a peach scent, but the lychee description is actually spot-on. It doesn't have a taste either, which is a huge plus for me!

Best of all: it's not sticky. Stickiness is the main reason I don't wear lip-gloss much - getting hair stuck in your lip gloss every three seconds isn't fun at all. However with this gloss I actually wear it out of the house because I know that isn't as likely to happen!

Finally, the price is great. Australis is so (comparitively) inexpensive, and in my opinion a lot of their products are better than more expensive alternatives.

I think really my title encapsulates this product. When you first open it you're welcomed by a delicious scent of Lychee's. So before even trying it you're smiling. At first I found the applicator a little bit hard to use and application was a bit messy - but that's probably more me than the product. I found it took a little bit of practice to get the coverage even. It's a delicate colour so would be ideal for daytime use or for those that find it overwhelming (a little like myself). The colour Fandango looks a little fluro but is really natural and gentle. Being a gloss sometimes you expect it to be a little bit sticky, but it's really smooth and light. It does come off easily and regular application is needed for a fresh glossy look.

I am actually not very impressed with this product. I have worn it over top of lipstick and on its own and either way, it didn't last very long and actually dried my lips out quite a lot.

It's not sticky, which is a great thing as that's what I dislike about most lip glosses, but when it starts to wear off, it leaves a yucky residue on the lips.

I would love to find a way to prevent this though because the colours are just beautiful, very pigmented for a lip gloss and it smells sooo good.

I found the colour to be far too bright for me, it is like a neon bubble gum pink, it maybe OK if you are a teenager, but not for someone who is more mature.

The wand was an unusual shape, with it being slanted, but it did make the application easier once you got to grips with it,it is a very good design

I had to make sure I removed the excess gloss off the wand before I applied it to my lips, otherwise there was too much overload of product.

The fragrance was pleasant enough, but a bit too sweet for my liking I personally prefer no fragrance at all.

I did not find this sticky like a lot of lip glosses can be, which makes a refreshing pleasant change

I already have very full lips, so could not tell if the gloss made my lips appear any fuller, but they certainly looked really shiny and extra glossy and felt very smooth.

The gloss did not pass the food and drink test, immediately after drinking or eating, the gloss had gone, and I was left with a very faint residue and had to re-apply again.

I found that like most lip glosses, it 'bled; into the corners of my mouth, so I was having to keep checking myself in the mirror. I think having this bright neon pink colour, made it more noticeable when it 'bled' so I was quite self conscious about it,

I tried using it over one of my lipsticks, but this was not ideal, as it just made a horrible colour, as the pink is just too bright and not subtle enough, so it needs to be used alone really or with a similar colour.

This is the first time I have ever used Australis products, I would still like to try different products, and based on the cost of this gloss, they are quite reasonable affordable cosmetics. .

OMG the scent is yummy! This is a great gloss, it made my lips feel soft and lovely. The gloss lasted quite well too. I found the angled applicator a bit weird at first but it was easy to apply and not sticky like other lip glosses I have. And did I mention it smelled amazing, didn't taste as good as it smelt but it wasn't nasty either. Would definitely get this product again. I received lambada colour which made me a bit nervous with my olive skin but I love it. I wore it over an Almay chocolate lip liner I put all over my lips and quite liked the look.

I was a bit worried with the colour for this trial as got a very red looking gloss but it wasn't as red as shown when applied. The smell is very nice tho. I found the gloss to be quite sticky. I did like the hint of colour that you got but wasn't as long lasting as I thought it would be.

I like to have a gloss to use for everyday wear and I've used this one for a very long time - maybe three years? I really like the saturation of pigment and the smell is really nice too. Defintely a lot of product in the tube and I think applies nicely. I think this is a great gloss but beware to those ladies with long hair on a windy day! Because your hair will get stuck in this :p I personally found myself having to re-apply this during the day as it will wear off with drinking and eating - plus i like to have a strong colour.

Colour does last a long time, a bit to neon for me. I bought the pink one thinking it would be like a lip stain, but is more of a lip gloss that stains you lips. Good for raves or dress up party's

This is a really sticky product. It feels heavy on your lips and like you have a really thick coat of gloss on your lips.

I have the pink shade which is nice but I really don't like how this feels as I prefer something that doesn't feel so obvious on my lips.

I have other lipglosses I prefer to this and I wouldn't ever buy it again. You might like this if you like sticky/tacky lipgloss.

A rather sticky gloss but the colour pay-off is fantastic. Sweet smelling and tasting. Even with its stickiness the nude is one of my go-to glosses
