I only own one Lime Crime lipstick but I would love to have more. The one I have, Coquette, is such a gorgeous colour! It also is creamy, long lasting and doesn't dry out my lips. Would definitely want to buy more!

Only had one but I loved it the packaging is super cute and the colour is opaque and lasts well! Did end up giving it away just because I'm not overly confident wearing bright colours but a good product and I would purchase again in a different shade
I have got about 6 colours of these: Coquette, Mint to be, pink planet, chinchilla, babette and Cosmopop. I love all the colours. They are so vibrant and just very pastally which I love. The only cons which I dislike is while eating or drinking and lipstick wears of. But that's why limecrime created velvetines which last longer and also vibrant. What's amazing about this product is that they don't test on animals and is very vegan.
I ordered Coquette and Geradium after seeing the beautiful Lime Crime swatches. I have very paper white skin and though Coquette would be a lovely nude for me. I was quite shocked when I put it on and it was BROWN D: and Geradium is NEON PINK. I am going to give Geradium to my friend, it is unwearable for me.
However the formula is nice, a little drying after 2-3 hours but a great colour pay off. I really want Poison Berry but I am not too sure if I will get it.
With the ultra cute packaging, wild colours and creamy consistency it's hard to look past Lime Crime lippies unfortunately they just fall a bit flat for me.
The colours just don't show up the opaque for me and really don't seem to match the photos used in promo materials.
Yes they are creamy but they are also super prone to melting into a gooey mess on a lukewarm day and just randomly break, really unpractical. If you're going to use a super creamy formula that isn't even remotely stable put that stuff in a pot and call it a day. I've depotted a few of mine because they're fun and I paid a fair amount for them so I want to use them even though they went all weird frankenlippie on me in the first week.
Writing this review is one of the hardest reviews Ive had to write, a while ago I had never owned a Lime Crime product and I had lusted over their glorious collection of makeup until I saw they were releasing Utopia, I just had to buy it! Along with the velvetine I also brought the Opaque lipstick in Geradium. It took about 2 weeks to arrive and I was constantly checking my mail box every day until it arrived.
The box it came in was amazing, I have never seen makeup so beautifully packaged before. The packaging for the Opaque lipstick is absolutely incredible, you see that they have put alot of time and effort in making the packaging.
Geradium is a pinky coral color lipstick, they are absolutely right, it is very opaque, the pigment in this lipstick is insane! I have honestly never seen a lipstick so solid with color, it glides on the lips so easy, its thick, creamy and gives a full coverage of color.
This is where I feel terrible, the presentation and the color is outstanding but for me the wear time was horrible, once on my lips it moves around and leaves alot of lip stick residue on cups, glasses, bottles. I have had this lipstick for 2 months or maybe more and I have tried to keep this gorgeous color on my lips with no difference. Because of this I dont wear this lip stick very often, I am so sad because the color is gorgeous.
There are some other colors I would like to try, I am just hoping for my sake it was a bad batch, it hasnt put me off buying more Lime Crime.
I bought this online a month ago only from seeing swatches on YouTube! I live in a small town that doesn't stock limecrime anywhere. I was a bit worried as I have quite a dark natural lip colour which often means lipsticks look completely different on me. However I was pleasantly surprised the colour was so creamy and opaque it felt and looked amazing. And of course the packaging is so cute you can even whip it out at the dinner table for a touch up. I'm now a big fan ... although Babette is probably the only other colour I could pull off.
Tips: Use concealer or foundation on your lips first for a real true nude colour.
The colour range is so gorgeous and unique, with a few wearable everyday shades and a lot of unique, bold and bright colours there's a lippy to suit anyone and everyone's taste. I love the smell and the packaging is SO cute!
Tips: Mix shades together to create your own unique style. I like Poisonberry mixed with Great Pink Planet!
For one the packaging is so cute! There selection of colours is so good with something for everyone! They provide excellent moisturizing qualities. The bold colours are stunning !
Tips: Definitely need to use lip liner with it. -keep in a cool place they can melt very easily.
I absolutely love this lipstick range, the colours are gorgeous! I have pink planet (a bright pink), coquette (a gorgeous cappuccino nude), no she didn't (bright aqua blue) and mint to be (a nice pastel green). My next purchases will be D'lilac & Chinchilla!
These lipsticks are ultra creamy, and super pigmented. They go a long way, and will last a long time. All of them smell delicious (like vanilla cream) & come in super cute pink, sparkly packaging with an outline of a unicorn on them, they are so adorable! They are easy to wind up, and have a good amount of product in them.
They are true to their name, and being opaque, offer full coverage with a few swipes. They do wear away with eating and drinking, however do have some resistance to that.
These are my all time favorite lipstick, I even prefer these over MAC :)... If you have not tried these yet, I recommend you go out and buy one asap, it will change your life :)
Tips: You can even mix the colours, just pop one colour straight on top of another to achieve a new colour/shade :)
