I received this lipstick in the last beauty vault and im obsessed! The shade is I Explore, i would describe the colour as a light brown/red shade. I have pale skin and usually stick to pink lip shades similar to my normal lip shade so this was out of my comfort zone. I was unsure when i first put it on but all my friends loved it on me. I have been wearing it with a light cool toned brown shadow and together they look really good. The applicator for this lipstick is my favourite by far! its almost like a flat triangle on an angle, i find this really good for parts like my cupids bow because there is a point so i don't go out of my lips. The packaging is really nice and i think the lipstick is worth the price. I would buy again.

This liquid lipstick totally blew my mind away!
Matte but super lightweight on the lips Drugstore price with a high end performance
Not super long lasting but touching up is easy Iām personally not the biggest fan of the scent but you canāt smell it after applying
This is another dusty rose shade (I have shade 129 I lead), it looks more of a MLBB shade on me when with a thin layer~
I have "I Decide" "I Empower" "I Magnetize"
I Decide is a beautiful pinkish-red colour it's a really nice pigmented for a fitting outfit with the same colours it's beautiful.
I Empower is a light brown colour, I don't wear this too often, I don't feel like it suits me too much because I have olive skin colour so it's a bit weird on me, and I have natural pinkish coloured lips so nude brown doesn't suit me too much.
I magnetize is a lovely red coloured lipstick that is bold and stands out! I recommend these lipsticks they are really easy to apply, doesn't dry up your lips and most importantly it lasts long!
And finally, these lipsticks don't have an awful smell or taste in case it gets in your mouth and doesn't make your lips stink either! Bonus!
I really like this. It's a great creamy texture that's light and keeps the lips hydrated for a long time. I'm impressed with how long the hydration lasts before it starts to dry out. It has a nice satin, dewy finish and the pigmentation is great. Creates a bold even colour on the lips or if you blot it with toilet paper it gives a lip stain effect. There is transfer but even if you drink something the colour doesn't completely rub off your lips. It has a pleasant enough and subtle scent and the applicator feels comfortable when you apply it. I got given the shade 121 as a gift and I want to try more colours!
I'm trialing this product in the shade 'I Lead' for Beauty Review. Based on the packaging, I was expecting this to be a maroon-ish shade, however once applied on the lips this became a muted red shade which was very wearable. The oil-in-water formula really feels different from other lipstains or lipglosses- this is very light and comfortable, like applying water on your lips. Once applied, the colour sets pretty fast into a soft matte finish. I barely felt like I had any product on my lips (which meant I forgot to check my lips and reapply...) After 2-3 hours of eating and drinking, the colour had worn off, leaving me with the dreaded ring of colour that I tend to get with bright lipsticks. However, because the product had left a stain of colour, it didn't look too bad. I'm very pleased with this product, this is a liquid soft-matte lipstick that feels uber-light and comfortable. I don't think it's long-wear but should get you through until lunch if you don't eat or drink.
Tips: Apply this product quickly to the lips, the colour sets pretty fast.
The L'Oreal Signature Rouge is a great alternative to popular matte liquid lipsticks.
I find most liquid lipsticks very drying, and while long lasting, they don't wear evenly, leaving a patchy look after a few hours. This was, in a way, the opposite.
There's a slight sheen to the finish, so it's less flat and one-dimensional than other liquid lipsticks. I much prefer this finish, it looks less 'painted on'.
The applicator is one of the best I've used, it holds just the right amount of product and makes application easy without flooding or feathering.
It doesn't take too long to dry and 'set' in place. It lasted pretty well, maybe 4 hours before needing a touch up, but unlike other similar products, reapplication is smooth and even.
I will definitely be checking out other shades from the range!
This is the fastest, most accurate liquid lip colour I have ever tried. L'Oreal has become very good at not only considering the high quality of the product but also the experience of applying it and making that easier. In this instance, the applicator is almost the shape of a tiny trowel, not a sexy description but perfect for lipstick application. Its makes the points of your lips very accurate and the consistency of the liquid made it very easy to apply - so fast. I had the Nude colour and it was darker when it was applied then seemed to lighten up which suited me perfectly as I like my nudes, very nude.
I got sent the shade 129 "I Lead" to trial. It's a pretty dark pink/nude colour. The packaging is pretty standard for a liquid lipstick. The applicator is flat, pointed and quite different from others I've seen. I found it easier to use than the standard doe foot applicator I'm used to.
It goes on pigmented and I didn't need to use much product for my whole lips. It's quite thick and creamy in texture. It didn't feel or look drying on my lips at all, and makes my lips look really good once applied. It doesn't dry down completely, but doesn't end up a mess all over my face. It does have quite a strong scent, kind of surgary? Not unpleasant, but something to note.
It doesn't last on my lips as long as I would like. After eating and over time it would fade and disappear. I didn't mind this so much as it's easy to reapply during the day and still feels hydrating on my lips after several applications. If I didn't reapply, though, it would be completely gone after a few hours.
I think $30 is a fair price. I might consider buying more shades if I didn't already own a ton of lipsticks lol.
I love liquid lipsticks, but I hate how drying they are. To compare, this lip product is lightweight but doesn't have the same long-lasting wear.
I have the colour 116 I Explore. It's a lovely maroon, mauve colour and I got a few compliments while wearing it. I love that I can apply it without a lip liner and that I can eat with it on, but I definitely have to eat carefully.
Tips: It is still a liquid lipstick type of product, so it does still dry out my lips. I make sure to apply a balm before I put this product on.
I do struggle with matte products. I think it's my thin lips - there just isn't enough lip to keep the product on them. And when I've attempted over-lining I look like your crazy, over perfumed aunt. With dry, half on-half off, cracked matte lips.
I prepped my lips by using a lip scrub, a vat of lip balm and an invisible liner. And then I opened the tube for the first time. I was surprised by the applicator. It's a sort of sponge (but not really) and is really dainty. It's sort of a triangle and doesn't hold a ridiculous amount of product. No matter how much I try, I can't get a lot of product on the applicator, which means...I can't make a huge mess on my lips!
I found application smooth and easy. It's easy to clean a smudge with a cotton bud. I love the matte finish on this - it's not flat. It has life and texture to it.
The shade I was sent is I Rule - a mauvey-pinky-nude. It's the shade I've been looking for for a long time. I've tried a few that ended up too dark, too mauve, too pink, too light. This is just perfect.
I am in LOVE! L'Oreal - job well done.
