I first discovered this product while watching Amelia Liana on youtube. She constantly raved about how much she loves Charlotte Tilbury lipliner in 'Pillow Talk' which is extremely expensive for a lipliner. Then she did a blogpost on a closest dupe to her fave lipliner and thats the Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner in 'Eastend Snob'. I went ahead and purchase one for myself!
Oh boy it did not disappoint at all! The opacity is great and the texture is creamy and a tad bit dry at the same time. I find that I don't even have to over line my lips to achieve a fuller lips! It gives a nice pinky nude shade and it brightens and evens out my natural lip color.
The packaging is simple and practical. I love how it is retractable and the tip is slanted which makes the application precise. I find that my lipstick lasts longer if I have this lipliner as a base. You can also get away with just wearing the liner and top it with a gloss!
I would recommend this product over expensive lipliners thats out in the market! The only complaint I have is they only have 4 shades available in New Zealand.
The packaging of this product is simple, but effective. The lip liner is wound upwards by twisting the bottom and has a tight lid so I don't have to worry about lrogue lids falling off in my make-up bag. I own the shade Pure, which is an incredibly versatile shade as it matches well with several of my pink lippies that are varying shades of pink. I'm a bit of a newbie to lip liners and this lines my lips precisely and I also use it to colour my entire lips in before applying lipstick to enhance the staying powder of my lipstick. This isn't drying and actually moisturizes my lips which makes it perfect for filling in lips and it has helped my lipstick to stay on after eating food, which it never used to without this lip liner. I will repurchase this as it does what it's supposed to do and is very affordable and it is easier for me to use than pencil lip liners.
Tips: Apply chapstick before use to allow the liner to glide on better.
