Versatile and moisturizing lip liner

The packaging of this product is simple, but effective. The lip liner is wound upwards by twisting the bottom and has a tight lid so I don't have to worry about lrogue lids falling off in my make-up bag. I own the shade Pure, which is an incredibly versatile shade as it matches well with several of my pink lippies that are varying shades of pink. I'm a bit of a newbie to lip liners and this lines my lips precisely and I also use it to colour my entire lips in before applying lipstick to enhance the staying powder of my lipstick. This isn't drying and actually moisturizes my lips which makes it perfect for filling in lips and it has helped my lipstick to stay on after eating food, which it never used to without this lip liner. I will repurchase this as it does what it's supposed to do and is very affordable and it is easier for me to use than pencil lip liners.

Tips: Apply chapstick before use to allow the liner to glide on better.

Great Drugstore Alternative

I first discovered this product while watching Amelia Liana on youtube. She constantly raved about how much she loves Charlotte Tilbury lipliner in 'Pillow Talk' which is extremely expensive for a lipliner. Then she did a blogpost on a closest dupe to her fave lipliner and thats the Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner in 'Eastend Snob'. I went ahead and purchase one for myself!

Oh boy it did not disappoint at all! The opacity is great and the texture is creamy and a tad bit dry at the same time. I find that I don't even have to over line my lips to achieve a fuller lips! It gives a nice pinky nude shade and it brightens and evens out my natural lip color.

The packaging is simple and practical. I love how it is retractable and the tip is slanted which makes the application precise. I find that my lipstick lasts longer if I have this lipliner as a base. You can also get away with just wearing the liner and top it with a gloss!

I would recommend this product over expensive lipliners thats out in the market! The only complaint I have is they only have 4 shades available in New Zealand.

Shade: 063 Eastend Snob

I struggle to find lip colours that work with my extremely fair skin, and this is a lovely pink/mauve tone that isn't too dark or too light. The formula is really lovely and creamy, and it glides on easily. It's in a twist up crayon type of package, so there's no pointed part for any delicate work. I use this all over my lips on its own and it looks really nice, but it would suit quite a lot of pretty mauvey pinks as well.

Tips: Three step process to preparing your lips: scrub off the old dead skin, apply a thick coating of lip balm while you do the rest of your makeup, wipe off the lip balm before you apply your lip product.

So smooth

I have the shade Eastend Snob and it's by far my fav pink liner I've tried. It's soft and creamy and very comfortable to wear. Highly recommend this formula and this particular colour

Tips: I put it all over my lips and cover with a pink gloss ... Usually the Fenty Gloss Bomb in Fussy

Great!

This is cheap, and so well worth it! I love this it glides on so smoothly and has amazing pigment which lasts most of the day which is pretty good for a product that is so cheap. I have very sensitive skin and have not gotten an allergic reaction to this. I love how it has a automatic turner at the bottle which automatically rolls the liner, no sharpening involved at all!

East end snob

I have been wanting this shade for ages after hearing people on YouTube wax lyrical about it. When I saw it pop up on the farmers website I had to hit add to cart :)

On others this shade seemed to look like a pinky nude but unfortunately on me this just looks pink- a nice pink, but not quite what I was expecting nonetheless. This is very similar in colour actually to another Essence lipliner I own (The shade cute pink). This liner is creamy, yet not so much that you feel that it is going to slide right off your lips. It feels really comfortable to apply either as a lip-line or all over the lips. Its longevity is ok, it was still pretty much gone after eating and drinking. This is priced really reasonably and is comfortable on the lips so would probably repurchase in other shades. Would be keen to find a shade in this line that runs more towards nude without looking brown.

Great product but the colour range is small

I like this liner. It goes on easily and does what I hoped it would do - keep my lipstick from bleeding into the tiny lines around my mouth. Unfortunately, the colour range is very small. I was looking for a nude-coloured liner but didn't find one in this line so had to settle for a very pink tone instead. If they had something more natural, I'd be 5-starring this baby all the way! As it is, I have to only use it when I'm wearing a lipstick darker than the liner, so you can't see it underneath. Bit of a bummer because in every other way, it's great! Lasts really well and great price.

Addiction - the perfect nude pink

I love these pencils, they are soft, easy to apply and long wearing. They are smooth but have just enough waxiness to them that they stay put and are great for wearing under glosses and balms.

My shade is Addiction - a nude with an equal balance of brown, pink and mauve. It looks great with all my nude lipsticks and perfect for night time when some of my more beigey brown nude lipsticks wash me out. I have several backups as I love the colour so much.

I love the slanted tip, how affordable these are and the finish. My only dislike is the chemical plastic odour these have but it soon dissipates so I can deal with it.

Tips: Don't wind up above the level of the plastic tip when applying otherwise the product will break off. Also use a light pressure!

Great lip liner.

This lip liner is really great. I managed to pick it up a the Make-up sale for $1, so mega score! It's an automatic pencil, so no sharpening, and it glides on like a dream. It's very similar in texture to the Chi Chi ones, which are my all time favourites. It lasts a long time and helps prolong the wear of your lipstick - just like any good lip liner should. I've worn this just around the line of the lips, as well as under my lipstick to prolong the life of it. It has a very creamy texture, feels moisturising, and has a matte finish. It also has a tapered tip, which helps make a really precise application to the lips. If you are looking for a cheap lip liner I definitely recommend you give these a go!

not OVERLY thrilled

I LOVE RIMMEL, they're products are super affordable and works really well, however this one isn't as long lasting as I hoped. I use lip liner as my base and to prevent my lipstick from bleeding out and this does that but won't last the whole night. After an hour or so my lipstick along with the liner will have disappeared leaving only a sheer tint of red.
