Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Anti Ageing Review

Thanks to this wonderful site (BR) and the fantastic group of ladies on it - I was able to trial this product for free. So for a freebie, I'm very happy with it. I agree it's perhaps better for people with dryer, more mature skin and as that's me - it works well. I do like the smell (albeit a little strong), it is quite thick, but does go on smoothly and blends well. I was surprised at how dark the medium is (almost looks like a fake tan) but once on it does blend nicely and coming into summer I believe it'll be just right for a more tanned look. I would describe it more like a tinted moisturiser rather than a BB though.

I don't like this BB cream too much and being that this is the first BB cream I have ever used that's highly disappointing... First off I am not pasty or super pale, yes im fair skinned but im not the lightest shade id consider myself light to medium to be honest... I went for light and this was oompa loompa orange.. WAY too dark for a 'light' colour.. Secondly the coverage wasn't good at all.. It gives you a bronzed look but that's about it, it wears like a tinted moisturizer rather than what it claims to do as a BB cream. Its quite thick and oily and easy enough to apply but the coverage and colouring just isn't right.. I wouldn't have been very unimpressed if I purchased this to be honest.

I found this a little heavy for every day use, but I did use it underneath a mineral powder when I was going out and my skin looked great. Really fresh and dewy, however it did become oily after a while so I certainly wouldn't use it every day for work as I wouldn't get the longevity out of it. The colour is good and it's a nice consistency, I like that there's an spf, too. But i still prefer my smashbox bb. I'll keep this for going out for dinner etc, the odd occasion when I might want a little more coverage as it is lighter than most foundations which I like.

I've tried many bb creams and always come back to Garnier. Now it has the SPF15 it's even better. My skin always looks fresh and smooth. Haven't used a foundation in ages since using this.

I was lucky enough to win this and to have not wasted money purchasing. Rather oily and resulted in a couple blemishes on my forehead after using. Really wasn't impressed and don't feel it really did anything. I will try use it up over the summer when I'm at the beach as it has spf in it.

So I am really glad I got to try this product for free, as if I had purchased it I would be very disappointed. The smell is very overwhelming so strongly scented which I don't like in a face cream. I wore this product under powder and I tried it with a couple of different ones, and of top of a moisturiser that makes oily skin more matte, it was still very very dewy looking. It was slightly warm on the days I wore it and I really felt like it was going to slide of my face. I don't think it instantly firmed my skin, and I guess because of the dewy finish it might make more mature skin look younger however it made me look like I had been for a light jog. I got it in light, and its still a little dark for me, I would say it would be nice in winter as it feels very moisturising but I am quite pale in winter so maybe not. Might be good for the beach as it has SPF but hmmmm I may look like sweat city but I hate wasting products so maybe it will be perfect for cooler days. I had to Laugh when I read on the US site that for best results you should use the product twice a day

I have used this product a couple of times and quite like it. The medium colour is perfect for my skin tone and the coverage is average. I applied a bit of mineral powder over the top and the result was nice. The smell is so strong though, I wish it was unfragranced!

I found it very thin (I thought it was thinner compared to the regular range?) and didn’t provide me with much coverage or help with redness. Granted, I am not their target for this particular ‘anti ageing’ formula as I’m still on the lower side of 20 so bear that in mind.

After wearing it all day I was very shiny but the colour was almost perfect, maybe a tad orange, but as we get into summer I’m picking I’ll gain a bit more colour than my current ‘Casper’ complexion.

I think this is a more hit and miss product of their BB range but may be better suited for the actual targeted age as a product suited for dryness and less coverage is what I think they’re aiming for.

Nonetheless, I will probably continue to use it by making my own tinted moisturiser concoction.

Very lucky to receive this free but oh so disappointed. I'm 45 so was very excited when read it covers wrinkles but alias it didn't reduce any signs of the wrinkles nor did it reduce the appearance of my dark circles also found it quite greasy and heavy on my skin. Wore it a couple days to give it a good go but felt a bit oompa loompa in colour. Felt maybe when summer does arrive and my skin changes to a lovely olive colour it might work better so will try again then just for around the house.

I loved this in the sense it's only light coverage yet still evens out skin tone and gives abit of pep to your skin. It is abit oily and can make your face shiny but not too bad if you just want something low maintenance without allot of makeup
